Jason: you can’t marry the goose!
Bruce: thank you Ja-
Jason: he’s too good for you!

Jason: now you seriously can’t marry him
Tim: but I can!
Is this a Birdy or the Devil
Danny gets turned into a goose, and instead of trying to fix it, he goes to Gotham and plays the untitled goose game irl.
He makes objections and keeps them in a little backpack. He also sings honk honk revolution in his downtime.
Batman doesn't know how to deal with a rogue goose. No one does not even Damian. At some point, Joker tries to kill the goose, only to get his joy buzzer, flower squirter, and joke gun taken by the feathery menace.

Ghost helpline part 19 Back to Work
Alright so throwing herself off a tall tree hadn’t been the best idea but it had worked! The kid was off her trail, now she’d be able to … spy on him? Stop his evil pan? Alright so she didn’t know exactly what she could do with this information but she would figure it out!
Al Ghuls are dangerous and Robin is an Al Ghul. Batman had to know that! But … did the Wayne’s? Violet had watched a lot of their TV appearances while she was out sick and …Brucie was just that Brucie. Adorable but dumb.
This was the guy who crashed into a tower champagne flutes at his own party! The guy who got drunk and fell off ships! … The guy who sent her flowers and texted dad cat pics. There’s no way he knew just how evil the Al Ghuls were, one of them must have used him for the money. Or maybe his kid was adopted like the rest of them… but then why hide it?
“Uuuughhhhh why does this all have to be so confusing!” Ahhhh! She just wanted to fight something! Having a clear target would be so much easier!
Were the Wayne’s in trouble? Chances were the kid was a master manipulator, a killer trained from birth!
Birth… the statement made Violet feel bad. But it was probably the truth, she remembered those swords, that smug look her gave her during the summons. The look humans get when they think they can kill something bigger than them. The kid was a killer… the same kid that tried to catch her when she “fell”. The same kid that apparently painted, and panicked. And allowed himself to be dragged away by his older brother.
Maybe … maybe …
Knock knock
“Come in!”
Step step cccrreeaakk step step ccccrrreeakk
“Oh, hey Chad.”
This was weird… Chad never sought Violet out.
“Sit down let me look at your legs.”
“Oh! Am I due for a tune up? We can go down to the workshop instead?”
“Stop talking and sit down.”
She sat, igniting a magic circle on her leg. Hearing air escape for a brief moment before her leg popped off and clanged to the floor. Repeating the process with her other leg she took a chance to look at Chad. Her brother seemed …sad?
“You should take better care of yourself.”
“What?”
“I said take better care of yourself, you’re making dad worry.” He tinkered with the metal legs.
“Oh sorry.” Violet had meant to make dad worry, he already had enough on his plate. And now she had even bothered Chad over something simple. If she were smarter she’d be able to keep up with her prosthetics by herself.
“Good. Don’t get sick again. It’s bothersome.”
Right. Bothersome.
She laid back as Chad kept at it. A nap wouldn’t hurt—
Knock knock knock
The person behind the door didn’t wait for a response and walked right in.
“Violet we need to talk.”
“Oh Dandy, me and Chad are already-“
“Done.” Chad left like a wolf was chasing him out.
“Violet,” Dandy aborted a motion to rake threw his hair and sat down instead, “Violet we will be getting a visitor soon, around three or so. That boy is coming over to apologize to you.”
“Oh that’s nice of him.” Oh shit.
“I need you to promise me you’ll be careful if father pushes you two to be friends.”
“Yes yes I know to be careful! No magic no slip ups I-“
A look filtered threw her brothers face, “That’s not what I mean.” Dandy reached over.
Dandy held her hand. They had held hands before, Violet loved holding hands with Dandy and dad. It made her feel safe and warm sure but more than anything it gave her something Violet craved the way other demons craved blood. Hold their hands made Konstelacio feel wanted.
But this… this was different, there was a look in Dandy’s eyes she’d never seen before.
“You know not to trust humans, Violet. You know how awful they all are.”
Violet swallowed, she knew.
“I need you to be careful don’t let your guard down for a moment.”
“But Dandy—“
His grip on her hand hardened, “Promise me Violet. Promise me you won’t trust any human with your heart. They don’t deserve you.”
Violet scooted closer to him, now that statement didn’t make any sense. Her heart?
“… is,” her voice was quite, “Is this about dad and Mr Wayne?”
“Promise me.”
“Dandy—“
“Please. I don’t want to see you get hurt again. Any of you. I don’t think I could take it.”
Oh Dandy was crying. She’d never seen her biggest big brother cry before…
“Okay I promise.”
They hugged like it was the first time all over again. Like someone was going to reach out and snatch her out of his arms.

Violet stayed in bed with her one remaining knee up. She didn’t know what to think anymore. Humans are bad sure but not all of them.
The humans in Fawcett were kind. And she had meet Jack when he was still a human. A lot of magical creatures started off as humans and and … and Mr Wayne was nice.
He sent her flowers when she was sick. And talked to her sweetly whenever she picked up the phone. He made daddy happy. Why can’t Dandy see that?
She levitated her prosthetics, one at a time, on to the bed. Their flight was wobbly, they were the heaviest thing she could carry.
Putting her legs back on she felt a pull. A tug.
She spared a look at the clock, 1:33pm.
Tug tug tug - she had enough time.
She stood up, “Alright then back to work.”
A second layer and she was gone.
Cap: That’s because I wasn’t always
JL: what?
Cap: I wasn’t always a hero, to be honest I never wanted to be
WW: (nodding in tandem) true the role of Champion of Magic is not one in the same with being a hero
Cap: oh no I never wanted to be the champion of Magic ether
<cue horrible misunderstandings >
Just thinking about how important it is to Billy that Captain Marvel is the perfect hero.
For one thing, he wears his dad’s face when he fights crime, so he wants to respect him, even in death. Seeing his face in front of a news segment bad mouthing him would make him heartbroken.
And then there’s just Billy’s thoughts on what a hero should be. They should be kind, knowledgeable, selfless, powerful, etc, etc. He wants people to feel hope when they look at Cap. He wants them to feel like everything is going to be okay. He wants to be the hero he never had.
This stays the same even after he joins the League. A part of him thinks he can relax a bit now. He’s been seen by others like him, who say that he is exactly the kind of hero they want on their team. He sees other heroes, like Green Arrow and Flash, and how they feel comfortable joking around and laying back during meetings and monitor duty.
So he loosens up, just a bit. Loosens his shoulders and his smile. Lets other emotions morph onto his face. He feels bad for doing it. It makes Cap less…ideal. But they seem to like it when he talks to them more.
Still, he can’t help but feel like he’s letting everyone down. Like he’s not good enough. Not when he’s Cap, but when he’s Billy. He studies himself whenever he sees Cap on screen, writing in his head, every time he takes a hit a little too much. Every time he isn’t quick enough despite having god-like speed. Every time he makes a mistake. He has to rectify it. He has to.
What will everyone think? If the Champion of Magic can’t be the perfect diplomat, then what good is he?
Meanwhile, the Justice League is repeatedly in awe of their fellow hero. He can rally people together for the common good. Inspire hope. He has the trust of the Big Three, and two of them even call him their brother.
He’s a mediator. Whenever he’s around, he’s able to quell any of the arguments that go on during meetings. He provides a new perspective regarding magic, making the non-magic based heroes understand it more.
He’s like a comic book hero come to life. Always glowing, even in the midst of battle. There’s an aura about him, where you can’t help but put all of your trust in him. He has this big smile that immediately makes them trust him. You can always find him having heart to heart one on ones with just about any hero.
Not to mention, he so dang good with their sidekicks! They actually listen to and respect him, which is already asking for a lot.
They ask him how he does it, and he just says he gets it. Feeling like you’re never good enough. Like you aren’t seen for who you are. Like everything you do is meaningless when people keep ignoring you.
The League is flabbergasted, because how could anyone look at Cap and NOT see the perfect hero?
Bruce’s Interlude Warning! Unfulfilled smut
- this takes place between chapters so you don’t have to read it especially if you don’t like smut anyway enjoy!
Against popular belief Bruce was not entirely emotionally incompetent. He could realize somethings about himself quite well.
He could realize the the strain between him and Tim was his own fault.
He could realize that most of his relationships with his sons were his fault.
He could realize that ever even looking in Talias direction had been a mistake.
He could realize that Catwoman never loved Bruce only Batman.
He knew when he was physically attracted to someone, and often his playboy persona was perfect for it. So yes he was attracted to Vlad but he wasn’t going to make a move. He wasn’t.
Vlad didn’t show any inclination of liking Bruce more than a friend. He called Bruce that a lot, his friend. He didn’t deserve it.
Bruce knew he was selfish.
Utterly selfish. Bruce was use to harsh quips and leather. But Vlad was different, he was all snark with no bite and softness that lulled the caped crusader under.
Bruce was selfish and wanted anyway.
He wanted to sleep on top of his plush looking thighs. He wanted to take care of this vulnerable man who loved his children and baked and tried to make Bruce smile on bad days. He wanted to take care of Vlad who sometimes looked at his children with sad eyes. Who crumpled to the ground when Bruce had accidentally called him Vladdie once.
Bruce’s heart sputters when he’s called Vlads friend. And he pretends to be emotionally unaware as to why.
—- —- —-
They’re warm and snug into the couch of Vlad’s living room watching a K-drama when it starts.
Bruce doesn’t have the words to tell the silver haired father that he is falling for him. Somehow he ends up allowed to kiss him anyway.
Allowed to soak in the man’s sigh as their mouths part for air. To pepper his face with kisses and watch that gentle smile paint his face. The same one Vlad makes when he’s secretly, utter fond of something. Like deserts, and his children’s screams and cheesy cliches in movies. Bruce wants to earn one of those smiles.
Bruce kisses his neighbors mouth again. Hands roving over his sides, perching themselves on that wonderful tummy and squeezing. Vlad gasps prettily as he licks down the man’s throat.
Bruce is hard in his trousers and has to stop himself from jumping his companion. If he could he’d smack himself for the audacity, Vlad wasn’t Selina or Talia or any of his countless flings. Vlad was fragile and soft and perfect.
“Mmuh,” the man in question groans, fuck. Fuck when had Bruce started touching Vlad like that. He looked down at his hand that were playing with Vlads tummy, skirting around his bulge.
Bruce moves his hands up to cares his face before his kisses him again. He wants to take this slow. Wants this to work.
“Ahh ah Bruce,” legs spread.
Bruce slots himself into the space instead of taking his own advice. And is rewarded with Vlad lifting his hips up to rub their erections together. His resolve snaps and he is rutting down on his partner like a horny inexperienced teenager. It feels so good, so warm. Vlad runs his hands gently threw the vigilantes hair, there’s no pulling it doesn’t hurt. It makes Bruce slow down and kiss him again.
Bruce props pillows behind Vlad and picks him up by the legs until he’s sitting down at the edge of the couch. “Hhhmmm Bruce what are you doing?” Amusement filling his features.
Bruce slides off the couch, Vlad’s legs twitched around him. He leaned into the aborted touch and laid his cheek on a thigh. Bruce was again at a loss for words he didn’t know what he was doing. This is all he wanted.
All he wanted was to be allowed to rest in Vlad’s thighs and breathe. He gripped the meat of his partners thighs closer to his head, turning his head to kiss the thigh he was laying on.
“Oh, oh Bruce.”
His entire being stiffened. No, no no! Why did Vlad sound sad? He wasn’t supposed to be sad anymore, Bruce’s stomach twisted. What had he done wrong?
He looked up at the man that had filled his life with so much light. Vlad was crying, why why was he crying? Bruce could apologize, he could fix this he could-
“I have to go now.”
Go where? No no no. Don’t go! Don’t leave him alone please, please. Bruce shut his eyes, remembering being abandoned at the alter. He didn’t want to be alone anymore.
“You lied to me.”
Bruce shook, and swallowed as his throat dried. Batman. Always Batman he-
Hands caressed his head, Bruce had lied about being Batman and Vlad still-
“Oh darling. You can’t save me.”
Bruce’s head spun, his heart lurched.
“You can’t save me.”
What ? No he-
“You can’t save me. “
No no no wait ! Bruce reached out and his fingers connected to noting.
-
Bruce wakes up in a quiet house, cold and alone. He sits up in his own bed uncomfortably hard in his pants and feels nothing but shame.
He sees his phone charging on the bedside and ignores Vlad’s texts. He doesn’t deserve to inflict his brokenness on to the kind man.
Bruce regrets his self punishment four days later.
It causes him to hate himself more. It starts the vicious cycle all of Bruce’s relationship go threw. It’s a routine a more emotionally aware person would be able to notice and maybe even stop.
Jazz finds the heroes knowing or helping her and her family a complete conflict of interest and essentially bands them from meeting.
Serveral heroes getting anxiety because there is now a list of people they are not allowed to save!!?!???!
Danny seeing a hero and bolting!
Them confused: are you hurt? A villain? Scared?!? Why are you running away from me?!?
Danny: we aren’t supposed to meet ever!!! Get away!

Jazz takes a job as a therapist for the league.
And then the stab wound gets infected cuz Tim doesn’t have a spleen.
Tim doesn’t know what to do with all their concern and decides to
A) runs off to his friends and give Jason a heart attack
B) call Konner crying leading to snooping bats to misunderstand even more
C) run off and hide as Alvin Draper (yj is also concerned so hiding with them won’t work) - gives Jason a heart attack bc now Tim is “missing”
D) slinks back to his apartment, meanwhile Bernard kicks down the manor doors furious (he knows but he ain’t saying shit) cuz from a civilian stand point this is beyond wrong
E) Ras just Ras 🤷♀️
F) doesn’t get a chance to do anything, gets admitted to the hospital- Lex Luthor is a welcome visitor to play chess with and talk corporate with - this one give Bruce the heart attack
Warning: Dark, Suicidal Tim, etc. Also small spoilers for the Injustice movie
Had a random thought, slightly inspired by the Injustice movie: what if Tim, in a mental health slump, decided to teach the bats a final lesson? Every time he defends himself against Damian’s attacks, he’s criticized for it. So one day, he just doesn’t.
Damian gets angry and decides to take it out on the person he won’t be criticized for attacking. After Tim doesn’t respond to his taunts, he gets physical, and throws a knife or slashes his sword, expecting Tim to get out of the out of the way or block the blow, and Tim doesn’t. The sound of a blade parting flesh and a body falling to the ground gets the other bats attention, and they turn to see Damian standing there with blood on his blade and Tim’s body on the ground.
(Inspired by the scene in the Injustice movie where Damian kills Dick by throwing a baton (escrima stick? IDK) at him, expecting him to catch it (which, earlier in the movie, he did), and Dick, being distracted, doesn’t, and it hits him directly on the temple. Accident, sure, but caused by recklessness)
Basically Damian needs to learn that attacking other people because you are angry is NOT OKAY. Seriously, if you’re pissed, go beat up a training dummy or scream into a pillow.
Does Damian learn the lesson? Or not? What about B and Dick and the others? How do they react?
[Thank you for the TWs! WARNING: This is bad batfam. I love them, but we're chucking them under the angst crack bus for this]
Tw: Dark/Suicidal Tim, domestic abuse, psychological warfare, manipulation, mentions of suicide attempt
Tim is tired of constantly fighting back and defending himself. He's tired of Damian and Jason attacking him. He's tired of Dick and Bruce pushing his boundaries.
If Tim just allows Damian to stab him, *he'll* be the one to get lectured for not dodging. It will become Tim's fault, as a trained vigilante, for not preventing himself from being injured.
What does he decide to do?
Resist with extreme psychological warfare no matter the damage to himself.
He starts small.
He curates cases/stories of sibling abuse and starts to leave them in places Dick will find (hacking/messing with Dick's fyp, newspapers around the Manor, files on the batcomputer, a case Babs is informed about, etc). They aren't reflective of Tim's experiences, not yet, but they show common patterns: adult figures not stepping in, siblings being pushed to compete, escalation, negative behaviors transferring to people/things outside of the siblings, etc.
For Bruce, Tim tricks the man into reading an intimate relationships psychology textbook by stating it was necessary for a case. He then keeps tricking the man into reading gentle parenting, boundaries, and other such information.
Jason is much easier. Tim just leaves books of various siblings relationships within the man's safehouses (healthy ones, distant, cruel, enemies, abusive, recent siblings [like adoption], etc). Jason doesn't know Tim is the one leaving those books, but he is intrigued by the "recommendations." A lot of them have other lessons Tim has prepared mixed in as well [which, if Jason finds out Tim is the one who recommended the books after he starts getting along with him, then they can have book clubs ^^].
Tim sends a ton of empathy animal related movies/shows Dick's way so that the older one ropes Damian into watching them.
This takes months, but at no point does Tim relate the lessons to Tim himself yet.
He then starts pouring in warnings. When Damian tries to hurt him again, Tim asks Dick, "What if I was too tired to dodge it?" This is the only time he asks. Dick waves it off cause Damian "knows better" now. I
Tim almost gave up the game right there and then to prove a point. He held back, though.
For Jason, Tim throws in shock-value trauma dump phrases when they meet up to prevent the older one from attacking.
Jason: *pulls out a gun*
Tim: "Damn. You'd think after threatening to kill myself to prevent my future from occurring that I'd be okay with guns. For some reason, they still make me nauseous."
Jason: *holsters gun* "What the fuck?"
Tim: *nods and then disappears*
It kind of trains Jason from attacking Tim unless he wants to hear really fucked up shit that will have his mind spiraling for days.
For Bruce, Tim just points out how and when the man crosses other people's boundaries (but doesn't point out Tim's). He doesn't put any expectation or remedy out. He just indicates it to start Bruce's thought process of "Did I just cross someone's boundary?"
Then Tim feels that it's ready. He won't get blamed for not dodging Damian's attack.
So, he lets himself be seriously stabbed.
This cues Damian into having a mental breakdown. Dick and Bruce oscillate between blaming everyone else and then themselves. Jason, after seeing the shitshow of these reactions, assigns himself (without telling the others) to suicide watch Tim [those trauma dump phrases are working against Tim here].
Once Tim awakens and realizes the mess he's created, he fucking regrets it all. He doesn't want to have to clean it all up and manipulate them into being better. He's also kind of pissed at Damian for not aiming for his heart or something. Damn.
Okay but what about everyone going along the m-preg thing because honestly from Ravens perspective?
This is exactly what her mother did!!! How could Tim do this? Is this baby going to turn up just like her? Not on their watch!!!!
What if when Tim went off to look for Batman when he was lost in time he bumped into Phantom.
They made a Deal
Phantom knowing CW helped him find Bruce and how to get him back safely, Phantom in return for reasons (hurt badly & recovering, or evolving in power) needed someone very ecto-contaminated (Ra's fault) like Tim, to be contained in.
From a magic user point of view, knowing very little of the GZ and how they work, Tim made a very powerful Deal with a powerful death being (High Ghost King Phantom: Hello!) and is now somehow pregnant (not really but they don't know that)
Danny while inside Tim inside his core can still hear the world outside normally and can share his emotions with Tim to communicate. Which looks a lot like Tim is speaking to his belly just like expecting parents do.
This could be angst or crack
or
my personal favourite, different genres for different pov's
Tim's would be happy, just regular getting his life back together being a total BAMF, coming of age type of vibe
The rest of the Batfam and other heroes pov would be angst, paranormal, psychological horror.
Misunderstandings galore
Dick regretting heavily his decisions which caused Tim to run away because he did not believe him and he has many Regrets.
Bruce feeling guilty that Tim felt the need to make such a decision as to make a Deal and end up pregnant just to bring him back.
Meanwhile the magic users have told the other heroes about Tim's situation and now think that he's going to give birth to the child of a very powerful death being and if something happens to Tim to risk the baby it would cause all of their worlds destruction.
so pretty much-
Tim-Girl Boss, Gatekeep, Gaslight
Batfam- Much Angst
Others- *panicked chicken noises*
