Clark was embarrassed to admit it but the rift between him and thier not so new anymore teammate, Captain Marvel, was probably his fault. Okay, mostly his fault. Clark couldn't help but distrust magic, as one of his weaknesses it was understandable really. Not only that but something about the Captain was just /off/. His heart beat twirled instead of bumped, he smiled all the time without end but it never quite reached his eyes. It was just too off putting.

But Clark was able to admit when he was wrong. And he was definitely able to admit when he had overreacted (unlike some people). The man had even been part of the Justice Society for crying out loud! (Which made Clark even more nervous in turn, just how old is Marvel?). Captain Marvel was a good hero. Flaky and childish sure but that wasn't the point.

The point was, while the two certainly weren’t friends he did find Captain Marvel a trustworthy hero. And as his team mate Clark had taken for granted the idea that he knew /something/ about Marvel.

But oh oh how wrong he was.

Captain Marvel, Billy Batson Nightingale is a hero. He’s somehow eight and thirty and has been alive since the 50s. He is the Champion of Magic. With the wisdom of Solomon and all of his past lives at his disposal. And he really, really should have seen this coming. After all Dani always did say it was only a matter of time before Vlad dropped his problems onto someone else’s lap. It’s just that he always assumed it wouldnt be his.

Freddy had the audacity to laugh at his side. Wiping down the left side of the bar he smiled, happy and whole and forever thirty, “Come on Billy don’t worry. How hard can taking care of some kids be?” His foster brother had the audacity to laugh again, “Freddy do you remember . What were we like as preteens?”

The laughing stopped “Oh shit you're screwed.”

More half baked ideas idk what to do with

1. Danny is singing along to the instrumental version of a broadway musical song (I was thinking "the other side" from the greatest show on earth) in an old abandoned-ish theater he found while exploring the Infinite Realms.

He gets startled by a guy in a red domino mask when he starts singing the second person in the duet.

Danny: *surprised Pikachu face*

Danny: *Happily singing the duet with this guy with a red bat symbol on his chest. It probably means nothing. Probably*

Meanwhile RR watches from the shadows, recording everything for blackmail

2. Dick has been having a reoccurring nightmare about a boy who looks just like him wearing a white and black hazmat outfit.

The boy always screams in terror or pain as he falls into a Lazarus green void, hand outstretched as if he were reaching out for Dick to save him as he falls into oblivion. Then the large metal doors to an octagonal doorway slam shut, blocking Dicks view.

Dick wakes up in a cold sweat

3. Danny, as a civilian in Gotham, trusts his local vigilantes way too much. It may be a byproduct of him being a former vigilante himself, but if he has a problem he thinks a bat would like to know about, he tells them and is generally happy to vibe with them

Aka he leads Robin to injured/stuck animals that Danny himself -as a totally normal non-meta teen who totally has parents and a safe place to live- can't free/cure.

The Batgirls check up on him every so often for the tea and to raid his snacks

Oracle saw him using his powers and has decided to mentor him on the down low. They exchange favors often.

Oh, and he's doing this all while "disguised" with an over-sized hoodie whose hood no one can see into the darkness of.

4. The League of Assassins think Danny is some type of god/miracle child and will do anything to get thier hands on him.

Danny thinks this would be fine if not for the stabby nature of the cult chasing him around. He doesn't want to be tortured for his sass. No thank you.

5. Danny finds a clone baby in a tube, and upon realizing it was braindead and had no soul he overshadowed the tiny body. He didn't really have much of a choice. He had taken massive damage in a fight against a monster in the IR and didn't really wanna find out how far his "die and resurrect self at will" powers went.

He did not expect to sleep for years and years in that tiny tube in that abandoned lab.

“Tt-” Damian opened his phone as soon as he received the second notification, his ‘colleges’ were making too much insipid noise.

“What just happened,” Hal held his head in his hands. He really thought nothing else’s could surprise him anymore. Monsters, magic, hell Hal dealt with aliens everyday… yeah right he dealt with aliens every day. Different cultures, values and morals. And after all what’s an interdenominational demon but another type of alien? Hal settled down next to Barry, this wasn’t bad. Right this wasn’t bad at all kids an are still just kids no matter the species.

Clark took control of the meeting outlining everything that had happened and going over the next steps with the magicians. Constantine insured everyone that there was such a thing as ‘good’ demon, but that they were not the type to want to involve themselves with humans … like at all. Which left the group at an impasse.

“I’m not saying she’s evil or anything! She might just be a sweet girl but she is still dangerous. Demons are known for their greed and deception. Even if she isn’t strong enough to fight any of us she can just as easily trick one of you idiots out of your lives.” John hated all of this. He hated working with the justice losers, he hated himself for dragging a kid into this mess and he was just so tired.

Red Robin fingers were clicking quick and sharp, making a file on Konstelacio. Writing down looks, personality and of course theories. “Tim! You can’t just put in “ex-criminal” or “disease” maybe her skin is just like that!”

He would admit that it was clever, but this was his little brother! Dick had every right to worry.

Chapter 3

Deep deep deeeeeeep breath. In and out. “Okay,” Billy finally managed to sigh out, “Let me get this straight.” In and out. In and out. “You’re an ex-villain who cloned a /teenage/ hero who is now king of another dimension.” Breath. “For whatever reason this clone YOURE goddaughter is destabilizing!

A-g-a-i-n And your first idea was to build an underground lair in our house to find a cure?” In and out. “I got that so far. Nod if i got that so far.” Breath. “And and and all three of you are /half/ dead. Making you a half ghost called a halfa is that all?”

Vlad stopped his nodding to glance off to the side, “Thats the majority of it yes but well…”

In and out Billy reminded himself to breathe, it cant possibly be that bad.

“Well technically theres four of us.”

A series of banging sounds could be heard from upstairs as well as shattering glass from assumably their nice plates and the voice of a man spouting expletives. Breath in.

Dan looks like them. This… stranger looks like them. Except Dans not the stranger here Billy is. And it would be enough to make Billy uneasy, to make him run off instead of being a burden. But despite Vlads loving placating demeanor, Dan sits on the couch body turned towards the window in distaste. A clear dismissive sign if he’s ever seen one in his years in foster homes, and how many years has it been? Three ? Twelve? Twenty? Wait. What?

Right, Dan clearly didn’t want to be here. Vlad by comparison looked as if they had gone back to the beginning of their arrangement. The beginning of their fights and beginning of their little awkward family. Of introducing him to Freddy and Darla. Of it just being the two of them. The inside of Billy’s mouth twisted, this was Vlad’s actual son and something told him those days were coming to a close. But if the way Dad turned to look for his approval as he set down a tray of pastries like he did every Saturday was any indication… then maybe Billy’s optimism wouldn’t be misplaced this time around.

Billy sipped his tea glancing at the halfas way as Dan outright growled at the plate of bread in front of him. Mocking Vlad’s baking skills, hurling taunts at the older mans head. Don’t. Don’t. Don’t take the bait.

Konstelacio walked to the Egyptian palace. Much like how Johnnys bike rode on nonexistent roads Konstelacio walked on invisible ground, she believed the Zone would not let her fall and so it didn’t.

Tim drove past his old home what use to be Drake Manor. He somehow doubted his family had noticed he sold it. He doubted they had noticed the moving trucks and contractors. He told himself it would be because they were busy. It felt like a hallow excuse.

Once Bruce figured it out he would want answers. Tim had them planned, Masters dubious escapades in criminal activity had been on the decline. As well as Masters sudden disappearance a few years ago, required their attention just in case.

Inwardly Tim had had a single conversation with the man, spotted a gaggle of teens who looked happy and sold it to the man on the spot.

When Tim thought over the conversation later, he would call the emotion that came over him jealousy and decide to ignore it.

In personality at least. Where Dani had gotten Danny’s loud passion, Violet had gotten Danny’s self loathing. Where Dani had his fearless determination Violet had his self sacrificing down to an alarming degree. Dani had her fathers laugh, Violet had his best friends fear of abandonment.

Yeah, Tucker would never admit it but Danny and his ex-arch enemies kid had a lot in common. He sighed oh well. It was fine, if anything it made him and Sam love her all the more. Their niece, their little constellation.

Clark could see Bruce sag in relief, the quest for answers over. But Clark didn’t think it be that easy, Captain Marvel may be immature but his loyalty was relentless. Something in the way he held himself could only leave Clark to believe that Konstelacio had earned that loyalty. Clark looked at Bruce again and sighed instead of voicing his opinion after all it’s not as if he was the detective, no he was just a journalist. Clark eye rolled internally.

Dear Tumblr : How many plushies is too many?

My little brother (13) loves plushies. At first it was endearing but now he practically has an entire shelf and closet full of them!!!! They are everywhere (multiple rooms including mine, the kitchen and on one occasion the bathroom).

At what point is it okay to get concerned? Because I think I’m already there.

Danny didn’t mean to be so shady.

He had been working hard on his duplicates and had recently gained the ability to morph his appearance.

So he decided to challenge himself to see how long he could run a small business only using him and his clones.

The plan was to, at most, seem to have a group of quirky employees.

Unfortunately, it seems he has accidentally left more of an impression of being a shell company for less than legal reasons.

Good news is that he had did all the legal legwork properly and was not breaking the law.

Bad news was that the bats were getting suspicious and were trying to catch him in some sort of act.

Oh well, this just means that the difficulty has ramped up!
