Comichron and ICv2 released their annual comic sales report. 2021 comic sales hit record highs, especially graphic novels.

Manga and kids’ graphic novels continue to drive most comics sales growth. Superheroes, not so much.

Hmm... well, Tumblr *is* supposed to be adding ActivityPub support, which would let it work with the Twitter-like Mastodon. So however it's implemented, that might be Twitter-like enough? Plus it'd be a big boon for Mastodon/ActivityPub/the "fediverse", as it'd be easier to get into it via just using Tumblr?

I keep saying: If Tumblr added a Twitter-like sidebar they would render every other social media platform not supported as a loss-leader for Nazis extinct in a month.
