Hmm... well, Tumblr *is* supposed to be adding ActivityPub support, which would let it work with the Twitter-like Mastodon. So however it's implemented, that might be Twitter-like enough? Plus it'd be a big boon for Mastodon/ActivityPub/the "fediverse", as it'd be easier to get into it via just using Tumblr?

I keep saying: If Tumblr added a Twitter-like sidebar they would render every other social media platform not supported as a loss-leader for Nazis extinct in a month.

Welcome

Hi, welcome to my new Tumblr page. Given Facebook throttles business pages' visibility, I thought I'd try setting up a Tumblr page as an alternative. It also gives me a possible alternative to Twitter, given its current changes.

As the headline says, my main site focuses on media and technology topics, as well as diversity issues in both. I split it into two semi-separate sections, Diverse Tech Geek (for technology) and Diverse Media Notes (for media). I'll be posting links to my blog posts here; new posts usually go up Tuesdays and Fridays.

So, we'll see how this goes. Thanks for reading!

Video game review: “MultiVersus” and its character roster | Diverse Tech Geek
A review of the "Super Smash Bros."-like freemium video game "MultiVersus," which features a roster of Warner Bros.-owned characters, from Batman to Bugs Bunny.

I’m still enjoying playing MultiVersus. My favorite go-to characters are Taz and Garnet, plus secondary use of Superman, Bugs Bunny, Reindog, and Velma.
