Bim felt the urge to bite his own tongue off. He should not have said that. He should not have said that.

He stared down at his hands, knowing a pair of harsh, dark eyes were glaring at him, challenging him to say what he just did again. The air was tense for a moment as Bim’s words hung in them, the others trying to process what had happened.

“I’m thinking we can end the meeting there, what do ya say, Darky?” Wilford said, already gathering his belongings.

“Sounds good to me,” Dark stated in a flat tone, eyes still on Bim, who quickly stood up and left the meeting room. Dark got up as well and followed Bim, unaware of Wilford telling the others and guiding them to go down the other hall, saying that it was better for everyone, including Bim if they all went around and stayed away from were Dark had gone.
