As an Autistic and queer person myself, I totally understand why horror and dark fantasy overlap with our own understanding of the world. It's why movies like The Shape of Water or stories like Frankenstein resonate with those of us who feel othered by the world. We empathize with the monsters because in many ways, the monsters might just need someone who understands them.

Haven't published in a while, but I still enjoy writing some things. As usual, tons of ideas but rarely write them down.

I finally watched the final season of The Owl House, and it cemented Luz as one of my favorite Disney Heroes of all time. Growing up as an Autistic person especially with not even getting a school diagnosis until I was 13, I relate to the idea of simply wanting to be understood. The fact that feeling becomes Luz's source of power is beautiful. Thank you, @danaterrace , for giving us something so beautiful.

It is sad to me when sometimes you figure out that people who are part of a community can sometimes be left out. Being aro, ace, or aroace is just as valid as any other aspect of being LGBTQ+. I hope that this issue is less prevalent in most community circles, but know that if you interact with me, you have a friend and ally.

I am a huge fan of Señorita Cometa! I absolutely adore Alex, Puig, Adal, and Sofia. But, I have a random question I wanted to ask. I am Autistic and really relate to Alex as a character. Is it weird that I headcanon her as neurodivergent? I only ask because I see her hyper focus on what she cares about, her social awkwardness, and her ability to be strong once she puts on the helmet as her alter ego. Again, I don't want to influence anything, but I just wanted to let you know why I absolutely adore Alex and think she's so awesome.

This is my first attempt at one of these shipping memes. I have no idea if I did it properly or based it on much canon items. But, these are my headcanons for one of my all-time favorite Zelda ships.

Okay, here's my first attempt at posting something on Tumblr. This is a Saiyan OC I made with some friends as part of a fanfic story. Her name is Kathryn "Katie" Wukong (Saiyan Birth Name: Punzi). Not the best art, but I am only now learning digital art, and I haven't practiced much in a year

Miles Morales rules!

(starts raising his hand before everyone else, just less confident about it than his classmates)

(remembers nearly all of the gibberish password that was told to him in a rush, only forgets the last two characters)

(replicates moves that he's only seen once (yes he also replicated RIPeter's move but I'm not screenshotting that bc it's long and complicated))

(figures out how to immobilize a guy that could escape any enclosure/trap)

(notices something is up/off with Gwen immediately, politely follows her lead and doesn't dig into it)

(continuation of above: realizes she's hiding something about her mission from him, decides to spy on her to figure out what)

(has information the Spider Society doesn't; figures out what the Spot is doing before any of them do)

(action plan made in 0.2 seconds)

(keeps up with what Miguel (a scientist from the future who has at least a year and a half of hands-on experience with the multiverse) is talking about)

(mentally calculates the timing of a giant spinning machine so that he can pass through safely and none of the Spiders can follow him)

(lmaooo you cannot do the same move twice on him, he learns too fast)

(this one speaks for itself. he really did have a plan)

(remembers how to use the Go Home Machine after seeing it be used once)

(immediately figures out why he's in the wrong dimension)

in conclusion, please never say/imply that:

Miles is not on the same academic level as other Spider-nerds

Miles is less capable in fighting/combat than other Spider-people

Miles is not as good at strategy than other Spider-people

Miles is too naive/childish/optimistic to have practical intelligence or pick up on when something bad is going on under the surface

Miles's smaller amount of experience means he is generally less competent/capable than other Spider-people
