A notification on my other account. Please check out what is going on over there. I've got some cool stuff to show and say about being Autistic and traveling theme parks there
Tomorrow at noon, I will premiere the first trailer for my brand new YouTube channel. Please check it out. I am so excited about what we are doing on this channel.
Lead life with empathy. If you want to be an actual ally that can help make a difference, you have to lead life with empathy and compassion. We teach children all the time to treat others the way we want to be treated, so why not continue that into adulthood?
@reallyndacarter , you are a global treasure. And your chaotic answer is much appreciated. Thank you for answering my ask.
My brother and I read the Batman '66/Wonder Woman '77 crossover comic where you and Adam West's Batman teamed up together. It ended with the two characters alongside Batgirl and Nightwing creating the Justice League. I was wondering if you got to decide the Justice League members, which heroes would you recruit beyond you and Batman?
Deadpool, simply for chaos. And to confuse the media companies.
I finally watched the final season of The Owl House, and it cemented Luz as one of my favorite Disney Heroes of all time. Growing up as an Autistic person especially with not even getting a school diagnosis until I was 13, I relate to the idea of simply wanting to be understood. The fact that feeling becomes Luz's source of power is beautiful. Thank you, @danaterrace , for giving us something so beautiful.
Normally, I don't reblog this stuff, but there is something important in this feed that I cannot believe that never clicked in my brain before. As someone on the Autism Spectrum, I am unfortunately familiar with the history of my disability and its connection to certain horrendous practices (just look up the name Asperger for example). The "certain exceptions" rule really does show the hypocrisy of the anti-abortion argument simply because of the fact that by their definition, life begins at conception. So, wouldn't a child born of SA be a life? And unfortunately, history has shown that this form of exclusion means that this exception rule may be allowed in other circumstances that are less "noble." It's why bodily autonomy is so important: let the person carrying the baby get the choice in the matter rather than a few people at the top who may change their minds at a moment's notice.
“My body, my choice” only makes sense when someone else’s life isn’t at stake.
I prefer saying, "Hi," or "You're very pretty" (regardless of gender) or "I like your (insert whatever you noticed here)." Basically, I figure that I might survive if I try to befriend the monster. So far, my friends include La Llorona, the Bride of Frankenstein, a doll-eyed clown lady who wants to turn me into a lampshade, a ghost lady in a haunted lake who was outfitted by Satan himself, and a vampire bat who convinced me to eat the spider on my necklace. I make neat friends. 😊😊😊
I like haunted houses in theory BUT I have no idea how to react when the actors speak to you. They ask me a question and I just… answer it…
The scariest part of a haunted house is the unscripted social interaction.
It is sad to me when sometimes you figure out that people who are part of a community can sometimes be left out. Being aro, ace, or aroace is just as valid as any other aspect of being LGBTQ+. I hope that this issue is less prevalent in most community circles, but know that if you interact with me, you have a friend and ally.
Found this on Pinterest, but count this screenshot as a reblog
Please tell me someone also did one of Grunkle Stan as Captain America in the iconic Captain America Comics #1 cover. The one where he punches Adolf himself in the jaw. I would love to see that.
Also, yes. Alex Hirsch rules as a human being. There's a reason why he and Dana Terrace have been partners for so long and why he rules as a writer, artist, and actor. I mean, this is the man who trolled Giuliani's nonsense voter fraud hotline as both Grunkle Stan and Soos. The guy rules!
Something you will need to know to help people in your life. Whether it be because of age or disability, everyone deserves a chance at a happy holiday season.
Considering some days can be rough, I definitely think a good cry is needed regardless of gender or age. Crying is what is needed for that release.
PLEASE REBLOG if you (male or female) believe it is perfectly okay and natural for a guy of any age to cry
