witchy fursona I designed for my beautiful partner, will be remaking and improving on this concept

Just found some old pictures of the wands my mum and I made for a Fantastic Beasts event at the college LRC (library) where I used to work.

We made them out of newspaper, toilet roll, PVA glue, acrylic paint, beads and plastic gems, and a glue gun.

These were hidden around the LRC and students would hunt for them every day for about two weeks until they found them all. Those that found them got to take them home and we also had some other activities to promote some of our Harry Potter audiobooks, ebooks and physical books and movies.

Bonus points to whoever spots the atrocious spelling mistake I made on the promotional material. Had to remember where we hid them all so I could break out the tipex

Edit: I Would like to mention as an afterthought, I am in no way in support of She Who Must Not Be Named (aka JK Rowling's) personal opinions regarding trans people. In my opinion she has turned into a vial and loathsome individual who has thoroughly tarnished my love of the fictional world she created. Her actions are pointlessly decisive, and harmful to cis and trans women alike.

Though the fanfic + fanart and the diverse community which created it and enriched that world is still incredibly dear to me. Even though I was never an active member (beyond, reading, giving kudos where it was due and occasionally commenting) I still felt like I was part of a friendly welcoming community full of talented (& not so talented), inspiring individuals.

If you are trans then please know that I support you. What is going down at the moment is utter bull. It might not feel like it sometimes, but people are on your side.

Reasons I would have been burned at the stake for being a witch in the 1600's -

1. Love to read.

2. Love to garden.

3. Love to bake and mix things together in little pots.

4. I study science (I literally have a Bachelor's in biology).

5. I do not want kids.

6. I do not want a partner.

7. My dream is to be a hermit in a log cabin in the woods with a cat and an axolotl as my company.

// 04/11/23// LSU camp pt. 2 ~ after the animals we visited Piria's Castle. Francisco Piria was the founder of Piriapolis, a very important and touristic city next to the Atlantic ocean. I grew up going there many times bc my grandparents used to live there but I never visited the castle until now and it was so pretty, full of Masonic and alchemic symbolisms

Visited the natural reserve in Cerro Pan de Azúcar

Visited Piria's Castle

Ate super yummy food

Played games

Used sign language during the day

When all else fails, deal with the dead

Got a new wheel, got geek! The heart purse is reference to undertale but its green because APPARENTLY (according to a photo I saw) it stands for empathy so...The other pins are rottmnt references, the colors being in order from oldest to youngest

Melissie is a dark witch, a crazy nymphomaniac, Yukarie's aunt on her mother's side (Gisellie).

Melissie had been in love with Yukarie's father (Idan) for a long time, even before he got married. She had been watching her sister from the very beginning, then she began to quietly arrange dirty tricks for her in order to slowly drive her crazy.

It is worth noting that Gisellie already had a shaky psyche, due to the fact that Melissie had also mocked her earlier, only then it was openly. Since then, Gisellie would start to get hysterical after any mention of supernatural things, and she herself became even more religious.

In the end, Melissie managed to carry out her plan: Gisellie became so unbearable that Idan left her. At the same time, Melissie was getting closer to him, and she also took Yukarie (at that time she was still a child) into her hands, since it was easy for her to manipulate (and Yukarie helped her in the implementation of her "plan").

Melissie and father got together and moved somewhere abroad, Yukarie stayed with them, and mother stayed with Kotoriye.

I tried to write briefly, maybe someday I will write more, well, and I hope one day I will draw Yukarie's parents:D

Мелиссие - тёмная ведьма, сумасшедшая нимфоманка, тётя Юкарие по линии матери (Жизеллие).

Мелиссие была давно влюблена в отца Юкарие (Идана), ещё до его женитьбы. Она с самого начала следила за своей сестрой, затем она начала незаметно устраивать подлянки для неё, чтобы медленно сводить с ума.

Стоит отметить, у Жизеллие уже была расшатана психика, из-за того, что раннее Мелиссие тоже над ней издевалась, только тогда это было в открытую. С тех пор у Жизеллие начиналась истерика после любого упоминания сверхъестественных вещей, а сама она стала ещё более религиозной.

В конце концов, Мелиссие удалось осуществить свой план: Жизеллие стала настолько невыносимой, что Идан ушёл от неё. Паралелльно Мелиссие сближалась с ним, а также она прибрала к рукам Юкарие (на тот момент она была ещё ребёнком), так как ей было легко манипулировать (и она помогла ей в исполнении её "плана").

В итоге Мелиссие с отцом сошлись и переехали куда-то за границу, Юкарие осталась с ними, а мать осталась с Которие.

Я постаралась написать вкратце, может когда-нибудь напишу ещё, ну и надеюсь однажды нарисую родителей Юкарие:D
