I was bored and thought I would draw my OC taking off using their battle/flying/spider? Shell. The reason for them taking off is because they were told by raph during the fight with the kranng they were retreating and decided to use their shell and save Donnie's escape pod for emergency, they also love flying like a certain someone (cough Donnie cough). And I was also inspired by casserole :D video (disclaimer on the video it belongs to it's rightful owner)

I was working on a different one-shot about his dying goodbye to April but it got WAY TOO SAD and I couldn’t finish it, hehe 😅 Maybe someday I’ll work up the emotional courage, but today is not that day lol!

Yay, I’ve finally done it! I’ve finally figured out the plot line to the Crescent’s Ascent all the way to the ending! It’s gonna be a bumpy ride, but we’re gonna get there and I’m SO EXCITED for what’s to come! 😆 The ending is gonna be AWESOME!!! (At least in my opinion lol)

SUMMARY:

When Big Mama poisons Leo and causes him to lose his memory, chaos ensues as she strives to convince him that she is his mother. What started out as an attempt at a new Nexus champion quickly spirals into an unhealthy obsession, and Big Mama will do anything to make sure her precious Crescent never even wants to leave.

Meanwhile the brothers search frantically for their leader in blue, but will they be too late? Will they be able to find Leo and restore his memory before he is too far gone? After all, there are already things Leo has been hiding…

Hiiiiiii I’m back so soon lol. Here’s the slightly longer version of my previous post, “Leo, can you hear us?” :)

This one is definitely angstier and the art style a little darker, but I had fun with it. Golly, I wish so much that they had a healing arch for rise after the invasion! But oh well, fanart, comics, and fanfics will have to do. Besides, it gives our imaginations a chance to run wild!

The 1st picture i drew was just a test, i was bored in class so i wanted to draw the same as the original photo, not just for fun but to give myself a Sketch as a try to make the details better.

The 2nd is about the ROTTMNT's character, I had this inspiration from an image from the penultimate publication to show 2 Leonardos, Leo of the present holding a piece of a disassembled mirror and inside it finds F.Leo, no matter how long it took me taken but what I publish displays the ruined future of a main hero.

Rise Ramblings #664

There are two concepts that I really appreciate in Rise of the TMNT, of which, helped to set the Rise boys apart from other iterations.

Before the start of the show, the Rise boys:

1) Already met their lifetime bestie, April O’Neal.

2) Have already journeyed topside, thus it’s no big deal.

The fact that these concepts are already established from the start helps to take away the typical stresses from the turtles’ story. Instead, the stage is set for the specific type of adventures and hijinks the Rise boys do get into, such as discovering the wonders of the Hidden City and the people that dwell therein.

I believe that there are two people we can thank for helping the boys understand the world around them.

First is Splinter and his lackadaisical parenting style.

Since he was a more relaxed father than his other incarnations, I’m sure that these boys were free to explore the world at an earlier age. Most certainly, many of their childhood adventures landed them topside, thus allowing them to have experiences that their other versions were unable to have.

The second person is April.

What does April have to do with their upbringing?

Well, I’ll show you.

Five years from the start of the show the boys would have been 8, 9, 9, and 10. What great ages to meet their first real friend!

Growing up with April would have had a huge effect on their social development; they’d be adapted to speaking with people outside of their immediate family, they’d learn about society through first-hand experiences and not just from tv or books, and they would have gotten used to the world around them by April acting like a bridge between the sewers and topside.

This is why by the start of the show, I believe, the turtles were already so well socialized!

I can't leave LFLS alone today after that last chapter. Here's a color portrait of some ninpo-unlocking Leo after a long road of healing (a long, loooooong road).

MINOR SPOILERS FOR LIKE FATHER LIKE SON BELOW PIC

It's called Karai's Last Gift. In the LFLS timeline I HC that instead of the traditional black wrappings, Karai's spirit gives Leo white ones when he unlocks ninpo. She wouldn't do anything to trigger his PTSD. It's a very fitting color as it resembles journeys, spiritual connection, and cleansing.

I cried a couple of times on this one. Once because it's emotional and once because I hate vector layers with my whole fucking heart. I'm very satisfied with how it turned out considering I doodled it so quickly. Like less than 4 hours.

Here's those Fae (my ROTTMNT OC) sketches I promised. I was gonna do it last night and then I remembered Willow came out and I had to drop everything to watch it. Totally worth it btw.

Saoirse Fae is 19 as of the events of the movie. She's a Yokai from a wealthy clan with Scottish ancestry. She comes to New York to pursue a human degree of study AND to formally extend her clan's gratitude to the Hamato clan for saving the world.

There's a lot more to her than that but for now I'm just happy to share what I got going on in this funny lil brain of mine. Until next time ✌️
