People who write novellas must be absolutely going though it bc I've never read a novella that wasnt utterly devastating. These people really have Things to Say and whats more they do it in under 200 pages.

HELLO I'm back!! Anyways, I'm nearly done with Of Mice and Men and I already know how it's going to end so I'm just waiting for the inevitable at this point

Prom night

If George and Lennie were teens in modern day getting ready for prom, I know for a fact George would always help Lennie with his bows or ties, and Lennie would just stare lovingly at him not listening a word he’s saying. Then again, this is mostly my shipping gay heart talking.

Gennie Frankenstein AU

One of my favorite science fiction story classics I just got into was Frankenstein, and that got me thinking. What if for an AU story, Lennie was a “failed experiments” that accidently killed his creator by hugging them too hard. And after being alone and afraid for so long, a random villager (George) finds him in the middle of the woods and becomes Lennie first and only friend. Also, I like to think in this, George gave Lennie his name, since his creator never bothered to name him, just to show how valuable their relationship is. I don’t know, let me know what you guys think of this.
