Not Even Really Figured Out Flying In Headspace Yet And I Still Wish The Body Had Wings - Blog Posts

Lunar Solstice presents: flying. A comic about plurality and non humanity. Featuring Ember, Laurel, and Rouge.

Ember is flying through the clouds. Ember monologues, "Flying is so wonderful."

Ember closes her eyes, exhaling as she smiles. Ember monologues, "Feeling the weight across your body as you're weightless over the horizon."

A back shot of Ember flying over a forest near some mountains, with an imagination bubble now surrounding her. Ember monologues, "And it would be even better..."

Ember destroys the fantasy bubble in frustration. She shouts, "If this body had any wings!!"

Ember sulks as Laurel and Rouge comfort her. Laurel says: We totally get what you mean.

Laurel talks to Ember. "Sometimes, when I'm reaching the top of the stairs, I'll think about flying down for a second." He imagines the scene of him flying down the stairs.

Laurel talks to Ember. "Before realizing I'm about to kill everyone." He imagines the scene of him falling down the stairs head first. Ember laughs as Laurel rubs his head bashfully.

On the left is Laurel in headspace, hovering with his wings. On the right is Laurel in front, standing with shaky legs on the ground as his wings are now gone. He says, "Its just weird trying to use your legs again after flying all the time in headspace."

Rouge imagines herself before she lost her wings, flying high in the clouds. She says, "Flying was one of the best parts of being an angel. I miss the feeling of the wind in my wings."

Ember clasps her hands together and smiles brightly. She says, "Maybe one day, we'll grow wings, and it'll all be smooth sailing! Maybe I just have to go climb really high and-" Rouge cuts her off. "Please don't," she says firmly, putting a hand on Ember's shoulder.
