昼間はまだ30℃を超える気温が続きますが、朝晩は徐々に秋めいた涼しさを感じられてきて、夏場はハァハァと息が上がりっぱなしだったハグも、だいぶ軽快に散歩ができるようになりました。

夏と秋がすっかり入れ替わるまでにはあともう少し。新米も出回りはじめて、お米がおいしい季節がやってきます🎶😊🌾🍙🍚🐶

No matter how hot it was, she was keep running around our Green Road energetically! Ahhh…it’s wonderful to be young!! (…And it should have been cooler on the summer morning about 10 years ago!!!)

And Hug was a tomboy, so I had to teach her…

蒸し暑い日が続き、ハグはだいぶお疲れモード🐶💦そんな状態の写真を撮ってアップする気にはならないので、今回はハグがまだ生後8ヶ月齢の頃（と、その翌年のものも少し混ぜています）の夏の様子を投稿してみます☺️💙🐾🐾

どんなに暑い日でも（と言っても10年くらい前の早朝の気温は今ほど高くなかったと思います💦）グリーン・ロードを縦横無尽に疾走し、“動く”生き物を興味津々で追いかけ回すおてんばっぷりを遺憾無く発揮しまくっていたハグ😂でも、たまたま家に入ってきたカブトムシにはビビってかたまっておりましたww

それにしても、この当時はバンビのように細っこかったなー（遠い眼w）そして、全身からどうしようもなく醸し出されてしまう少年感（笑）会う人会う人に例外なく「男の子ですよねー♫」と決めつけられた日々wまぁ、今も。。。なんですけどww

The door into summer

This year also, one corner of our Green Road was covered with small sunflower-like wildflowers, and the door into summer was opened at once.

Hug jumps into there trying to catch the new season earlier than anyone else🌻🌻🌻🚪🐕✨✨

今年も野原の一角がちいさな向日葵のようなジャノメソウに覆われると、それを合図にグリーン・ロードでは夏への扉が一気に開け放たれます。

ハグは誰よりも早く新しい季節を捕まえようとして、そのなかへ迷いなく飛び込んでゆきます。

空を仰げば、白く長い尾をたなびかせた雲を南風がゆっくりゆっくり運んでゆくのでした。

Shinin' You, Shinin' Day

Early summer morning… As the days go by, the temperature is getting higher and higher.

In that situation, Hug runs around in the weed bush with a lot of morning dew, soaking her body wet plenty.

It seems to be the easiest, most primitive and most jolly way to get cool ;-)♡

朝から蒸し暑い日が増えてくると、ハグは朝露をたっぷりと湛えた背の高い草むらの中を駆け回って、自分の身体をズブ濡れにしたがります。

May is the season for rice planting.

The rice fields are filled with water, and farmers plant seedlings there.

It is one of the most lovely and grateful scenes of the year for me, and the animals living around there are also looking at the situation with a smile :-))

At the time of the end of cherry blossom season in town, the wild and vibrant colors are returning to our beloved Green Road.

This blessed natural field where few humans come is free of COVID-19 virus, and instead are full of highly infectious joy, smiles, and happiness :-))

The cherry blossoms in the famous tourist spots are wonderful and certainly worth seeing.

However, what moves my heart most is the cherry blossoms that bloom on the usual walking paths. It beautifully colors our familiar place and uplifts the feelings of the people who live there.

I greet the flowers that way and sincerely thankful for the spring reunion. Our smiles are in sync and that happy time lasts for about 1 week :-))

"花曇り＝Hanagumori" is a Japanese season word that means cloudy weather at the time of the cherry blossoms are in bloom.

Winter is over, and the cherry blossom season has arrived in my town. I can't feel like enjoying its atmosphere from the bottom of my heart this year…, but there is no doubt that everyone needs “Spring” full of bright and hope.

The most important thing that we shouldn't do is to get stuck in emotional thoughts and stop thinking. And the most important thing that we have to do is to play our own role in each place. While raising our heads high towards the sky!!

I hope that true peaceful Spring will come as soon as possible to dear friend's town about 8,000km away from here, and that everyone will get back to safe life in their beloved hometown...🕊💙💛

If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?

Severe winter period… it will be colder and colder as the days go by. But we could also say that Spring is just coming around the corner :-)

This winter, there are no serious concerns about Hug's health for the first time in two years. So I am able to spend a peaceful and relaxing New Year's day with my family :-)

皆さま、あけましておめでとうございます㊗️🎍

昨年・一昨年と続けて、ハグの脚の手術とそれに伴う入院〜自宅看護が年末年始の時期に重なり、とても穏やかな心持ちでいられる状況ではなかったのですが、今年は2年ぶりにお正月を晴れやかな気分で迎えることができました。

朝んぽから帰り、お雑煮と、お皿にササッと盛り付けしただけのお手軽ワンプレートおせちを食べた後、すぐ近くに住む姉の家へハグと年始の挨拶に。姉は駄菓子のおせちに挑戦してみたそうで、綺麗に重箱に詰められたその仕上がりに「やるなー✨」と感心！お気に入りのカフェからお取り寄せしてくれたアフタヌーンティー風焼き菓子盛り合わせなども美味しくいただきました🥮🍪🍰😋（今年はハグにもイヌともさんがくださったワンコ用おせちが🍱🐶💕いやいや、大喜びしてるけどさ、一度に全部なんて食べさせないからねー🤣🤣🤣）

知人や縁者から、縁起の良い「お年賀」を頂いたりするのもまたうれしいもので、お正月ならではの慶びをしみじみと感じるのでした。

Ferme de Noël 2021

The annual Christmas market was held in our town.

It was done on a vast farm inspired by a rural town in France, me and Hug fully enjoyed shopping and meal there.

It felt like a fleeting trip to Europe :-)))

フランスの田舎をイメージしてつくられた地元の広大な農業公園で、この時期になると仏語でクリスマスの農場を意味する”Ferme de Noël”と名付けられたクリスマスマーケットが開催されます。

僕とハグも２年ぶりに朝一番で行ってみましたが、今年は全国の人気ショップが多数出店していたのに加えて、コロナの感染状況がかなり落ち着いていることもあり、時間の経過とともに人出が物凄いことになってきたので早めに退散。。。👀💦

若干人酔いしそうになりながらも（笑）束の間のヨーロッパ小旅行気分を愉しみました😆✈️🇫🇷🐶

HUG meets TOKYO DOWN TOWN again #3

After strolling around the Tokyo Sky Tree, we headed to the Asakusa area🐾🐾

We stopped at a Dog Cafe, ate a meal, took a break for a while, and visited Sensoji temple (浅草寺).

There were too many tourists to walk slowly, so we moved to the promenade along the Sumida River and enjoyed a leisurely walk✨🐕✨

Little walking-trip of about 30,000 steps🐾🐾🐾 Hug seemed very happy😊❤️🐶

東京スカイツリータウンにあったDOG DEPTに寄ろうと思っていたのですが、いつの間にか閉店に😭

隅田川沿いに別店舗があるので、そちらへ向かうべく隅田公園を経由して浅草エリアへ🐾以前にはなかった「すみだリバーウォーク」なるものが隅田川の上に開通しており、浅草へのアクセスがめちゃめちゃ便利になっていました。

DOG DEPT浅草隅田川店に到着し、カフェのテラス席でハグのご飯タイム。エゾ鹿スティック🍖とローストビーフ🥩だって、、、商店街のお惣菜とコッペパンでお腹を満たしたニンゲンとは大違いのメニューです😂

まったり休憩したあと、浅草寺へ行ってみたものの、人が多すぎてイヌ連れではとても歩きにくいため、隅田川沿いの遊歩道へ移動し、今回のおのぼり散歩は〆としました。

自然のなかを自由に走り回るのもいいのですが、街なかでたくさんのヒトと触れ合うのがハグは大好き。このままコロナが終息して、なんの気兼ねもなくヒトとヒト、ヒトとイヌが自由に交流できる日常が１日も早く戻ってきますように🕊☺️🐶

The people passing by and the shop owners were all kind and talked to Hug gently.

There were a lot of low-priced and delicious foods on sale, and my most favorite was koppepan (similar to a hot dog bun) from a bakery founded in 1912😋🤎

Next, we headed to the Oshiage(押上) area where the Tokyo Sky Tree stands✨🐾🐾

「下町人情キラキラ橘商店街」は、およそ400メートルの長さの場所にレトロな雰囲気のお店がたくさん軒を連ねています。僕の生家である祖父母の家があった城下町にも、かつてはこんな商店街が賑わいをみせていましたが、住民が少なくなった事ですっかり寂れたシャッター街と化してしまったので、地域共生の場がいまもこうしてしっかりと残っていることに感動をおぼえます。

すれ違う方やお店のオーナーさんがハグに気さくに声をかけてくださり、通りはとっても温かい雰囲気。で、こういう商店街のお惣菜が安くて美味しいんだよね♫というわけで、あれこれテイクアウトで買い物をして近くの公園でいただきました😋アホほど沢山買ったのに食欲が優って写真は一枚も撮らずじまいww

なかでも１番気に入ったのは「ハト屋パン店」のコッペパンでした。キャッチコピー（？）が“ポチもほしがるハト屋のパン”ですから当然ヤラれます（爆）あまりに美味しくて家に持ち帰る分も買い増しww その際に、創業から使っているというイラストがプリントされたトートバッグを売っているのを見つけてしまい、もちろんそちらも購入させていただきました😂

さて、腹拵えも済ませたところで散策再開です。次はスカイツリーがそびえ立つ押上方面へと歩いてゆきます。

One sunny autumn day, Hug and me revisited Tokyo after two years’ absence ;-)

First at all, we went to Kameido Tenjin(亀戸天神) Shrine to offer thanks for full recovery of Hug's legs⛩🙏🏻🐶✨

Secondly, we headed to the Kyojima(京島) area🐾

よく晴れた秋の日、２年ぶりにハグと東京へおのぼりしてきました😊🐶

今回の上京の１番の目的は、２年前にハグが右後脚靭帯を傷めた際、精密検査と確定診断のために江東区の動物整形外科専門病院を訪れ、全身麻酔下のハグを預けている間にハグの無事と回復を祈願してきた亀戸天神社へのお礼参りでした。ハグの手術後まもなく世の中はコロナ禍に陥ってしまい、訪問するタイミングをずっと失っていましたが、感染状況が落ち着きをみせているうちにという事で、無事に再訪が叶いようやく気持ちがスッキリしました✨

お参りを済ませ、ここからはのんびり下町散策の時間のはじまりです。まずは、京島エリアにある昭和の風情を色濃く残した「下町人情キラキラ橘商店街」へと足を向けてみます。

My dog,“HUG” celebrated 11th birthday :-)

愛犬・ハグが11歳の誕生日を迎えました。

イヌにとっては、自分の誕生日も単なる日常のなかの１日にすぎず、いつものように早起きをし、いつものように自然のなかを散策し、いつものように好奇心を刺激するものを見つけては、その瞳をキラキラと輝かせるのでした。

『ねえねえ、見て見て！近づいても全然逃げないアオサギがいるよっ✨🐶✨💕💕』

帰り道でも、すれ違う人たちに声をかけられ、頭や身体を撫でられて、終始ご機嫌さん（笑）

せっかくの記念日、飼い主的にはやっぱりハグに特別な気分を感じて欲しくて、今年も年に一度の贅沢プレートを作りました。今回はお肉づくしだよ♪さぁ、美味しく召し上がれ ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و

中型犬の年齢を人間に換算するとそろそろ70代に差し掛かろうかと言う歳なのだそうで、仔犬の頃から病気知らずの健康優良犬だったハグも、最近は体調を崩すと回復にやたら時間がかかったり、靭帯を痛めたことで起こりやすくなるらしい関節の炎症にも気を配らなければいけなかったりなど、シニア齢ならではの悩ましさもいろいろとありますが、ひたすらに前を向いて“いま”を生きるのがイヌの流儀であるのならば、僕はどこまでもその犬生の最良の理解者／最良の伴侶であり続けるのみです。

いつもハグを温かく見守って下さっている皆さまのご厚情に、あらためて心から感謝いたします。

さあ、ハグ！

ご多分に洩れず、副反応きっつーー(´༎ຶོρ༎ຶོ`)ーーっ！！となった２回めのワクチン接種を終えて、全国的に緊急事態宣言も全面解除されたことだし、久しぶりに少し遠出でもしたいような、でもまだちょっと怖いような。。。とモヤモヤが募る今日この頃😅

そんな奇妙な浮世とはなんの関わりもないかのように、淡々と季節が巡る野辺では、《雁渡し》と云う美しい言葉を持った仲秋の北風が空や大気を澄みわたらせて、僕たちのグリーン・ロードはゆっくりとその色を変えてゆくのでした。

She was a little unwell because summer in Japan is so hot and so humid🐶💦 But finally the seasons changed and the autumn breeze brought a nice coolness, Hug completely recovered her cheerfulness and liveliness!!✨🐕✨

Dogs swim in the “Yellow Sea” and play around to their heart's content.

Eventually, we are short of breath, look up at the sky, say “Goodbye” to the spring, and say “Hello” to the brand new summer ;-)
