Possibly one of the very few times I try drawing a dramatic pose and it's for a gattling gun with limbs.

I thought what if MMZ in MN9 and then it snowballed into this. I like how his design came out but don't expect anything digital just yet. I've still got stuff to do.

Funnily enough I’ve been kinda curious about Mighty No. 9 lately, and the fanart you posted is strengthening my desire to check it out 👀

Oh yeah, go right ahead! I loved the characters voices, they're just super funny to me for some reason. The bosses especially were very quirky both as bosses and as helpers. Which yeah, another thing I like about the game. Unlike Megaman, which MN9 is meant to be a spiritual successor of, you actually get more screentime of all of the bosses and get a chance to know them beyond just fighting them for their weapons. I love that kinda thing since the bosses are related to the player character named Beck. I think it's super sweet that they help out their youngest sibling out but still let him fight his own battles.

With that being said though, I do gotta let you know that the gameplay has a couple problems. From what I hear the game bugs out and barely runs at 60 fps. Even if things run smoothly, some people really hate the enemy placement and consider it unfair. Using the playable character's weapons is also kinda weird and not like Megaman at all which can be kinda frustrating.

Dr. White's pov when he tells the first Mighty Number his entire purpose is to beat other robots until they're near death for sport.

Had fun with the blur tool this time, not anything fancy but I like how this came out.

I've been drawing more Mn9 recently and I've been wanting to experiment with rendering for a while now so this franchise will be my playground. Just don't expect them anytime soon, I've got stuff to take care of.

Definitely a sweetie pie

A candle sniffer. Currently his favorite is gingerbread.

Strangely good at games like Smash Bros and Street Fighter.

Scaredy cat.

Wuvs his family but Brandish is definitely his favorite. He tries not to be obvious about it but they all know.

Favorite music genre is Rock and Roll.

Takes naps in the weirdest spaces imaginable.

Competitive if he gets worked up enough.

Mighty no. 9 and Balan Wonderworld are far from the best or most polished games (I'm well aware that you can't even jump in Balan Wonderworld depending on power up), but I also can't help but adore the characters and come up with random bits of headcanons for em.

Don't really know why but I think I just like how these characters look? (Seriously, for as clunky as the gameplay for Balan Wonderworld was, you can't tell me that his design looked bad)

Mighty no. 9 also had the bosses show bits of personality and help Beck out depending on which Mighty Number you've defeated which I actually really liked. Not a hundred percent sure if we got that sort of thing in Megaman, but I thought it was nice. Makes the Mighty Numbers feel more like family members y'know? And I friggin LOVE family moments between robots. Their voices also had me laughing, they made me cringe and I loved em.

I can't get enough of the Balan Wonderworld art style either. It's so charming, I friggin love it. Not as much found family vibes, but they still got the loveable host that learns through observation vibes. That's enough for me to like the game, the characters at least.

(NOTE: Before anyone reads this, yes, it's out-dated. Especially my views on Balan. I'm allowed to like what I like. But this is not the way to go about it. You are allowed to like and dislike something based on your own opinion.. but at least give the games a try.)

(Another note: You're not obligated to read the sequel. But also, please do not harass anyone who likes or dislikes a game. That's petty.)

Me, who likes Balan Wonderworld and Mighty No. 9 AND is still a Gamer (albeit a Casual one): Yeah the game wasn't good, but it's still good to me.

Gamer who hates Balan Wonderworld: But it's bad tho??

Me: So? Go read Balan, if you want more story. *tosses book at the gamer who hates balan wonderworld*

Gamer who hates Mighty No. 9: What port did you play? Wii U? Wasn't that the worse port?

Me: Whilst I do agree with you that Mighty No. 9's Wii U port is the worst of the options available.. I still enjoy the game even after all these years.

Toxic Gamer: Fuck you then!! I'm gonna go back to my GTA!

Me: ...Okay? *sigh* Now, gamers, not all of you are like the three above. Only a fraction of you are. But like.. can a girl enjoy her games even if they are bad? Like, fuck, I LOVE Mega Man 8 unironically, and that (to most people) is the worst Mega Man game! And heck, I'll say it: I'll still be a Gamer, but I love to keep an open-mind about things! So I'll still be a Gamer, but I won't say I hate something just because of what everyone else says.. because that's stupid.
