No but please tell me why I teared up when Namor was showing Shuri around Talokan, like the view man! so f*cking beautfiul, I can see why they stayed down there, if that was me I wouldn't come back to the surface for the longest time either.
an: I’ll work on requests I swear, I’ve just been obsessed with this man

•Namor, a child without love as he’d been cursed, did not have it within his heart to love another. His love lay with his people. That was until he happened upon you. An inquisitive human who was investigating the legend of K'uk'ulkan. At first, he’d planned to kill you as he did with all others that had come to find him ans Talokan. However, your intentions, unlike the others, was honourable. You only visited out of curiosity, and acted respectfully towards the land and the people of the village. Namor began to observe you. He watched you from afar as you continued to search for him, for any signs for him. He never let you catch on though.
•Frustrated by your fruitless efforts, you decided to leave in resignation. Despite hiding himself from you, Namor wasn’t prepared for you to go. He’d spent so much time watching you that he grew obsessed. He was completely enamoured with you, with your mannerisms, your habits, your laugh, your smile, everything about you. You were a pure being. The cruel surface world was undeserving of you. So, the day you were meant to leave, you visited the beach one last time as a sort of nostalgic end visit. That’s when you saw him, emerging out of the water. You stood there, stunned. Here before you was K'uk'ulkan in all his glory. And he was glorious. He must’ve been the most gorgeous man you’d ever seen. The silence between you two grew as you eyes raked him over, taking him in. Slowly, he moved towards you, then he uttered your name. That single utterance of your name caused your insides to double over, twisting and turning.
“K'uk'ulkan,” you whispered in awe, eyes widened. Smiling, he corrected you, “Namor. You’ve been searching for me.”
Still in awe, you nodded slowly. “You wish to see it, do you not? My home,” asked Namor, outstretching his hand in an unspoken offer. He was inviting you, a mere human, to see his home. Your heart was pounding in your chest as you cautiously took his hand. He pressed a mask to your face and before you could register what was happening, you were being pulled under the water.
•Namor took you to an underwater cave where you didn’t need a mask. This is where you’d be staying, he told you. You didn’t pay any thought towards his ominous tone, too absorbed with the mesmerizing beauty of the cave. Namor then showed you to a high-tech deep-sea diving suit. Once you were suited up, Namor showed you Talokan. The underwater city was ethereal. You marvelled at the sights and the people, all who received you warmly. Namor’s heart swelled watching you interact with his people as if they were your own, well they would be soon.
•You enjoyed your time at Talokan. All your needs and wants were met. You adored spending time with the people, especially the children. However, eventually, the novelty wore off and you grew homesick. You tried to bring it up with Namor but he would either change the course of the conversation or just blow you off entirely. This dodgy behaviour worked up your irritation until it finally spilled over.
“Namor!” you called out. Namor turned around, his face set in an adoring smile. “I need to talk to you.”
“What is it? Is there anything you need?” He asked sweetly.
“I want to leave, and don’t try changing the subject. I love it here in Talokan, but this isn’t my home. I have a home, a life back on the surface that I need to return too,” you said, pleadingly.
Something in Namor’s eyes changed, and he titled his head in confusion. Then, he laughed. “Darling, tell me, what did you expect to happen once you accepted my hand. Did you believe that Talokan has remained hidden for so long through allowing people free range?”
Your heart rate quickened, and you stuttered, trying to formulate a response. You hadn’t thought of the future consequences, lost in the thought of experiencing the myths you’d studied for so long first hand. Chuckling, Namor closed the distance between you two and cupped your face with his hands. “Worry not, beloved. Talokan shall offer you far more than the surface world ever could.”
in which you find a child floating in the water and you save them only for your acts of kindness to get misinterpreted by the father who is also the king of an underwater civilization.

I tagged everyone but idk why some people's accounts are not showing up😭
"THIS PLACE IT'S BEAUTIFUL" you whispered to yourself, eyes taking in the cave you was in. It's been a day since you was taken to this mysterious place, your ankle already fine from whatever treatment the healers have used.
Harucan had been around you the whole time, bringing up random things to you and showing them.
You also met the healer that treated your ankle, her name was Akna. Akna was gentle and kind with you, making you feel much more at ease with being in this mysterious place yet you was still riddled in fear for your life.
The only source of happiness you did get was the little visits Huracan would give you through out the day, a guard chasing behind him as he reaches towards you and rung his arms around you tightly.
He became even more clingy to you— the woman that saved his life, he wanted to return the favor of you helping him by making your time spent in the cave a bit more interesting so he brought random things he found around the cave and in depths of Talokan to you.
Your ankle felt much better, allowing yoi to walk slowly again which caused Huracan to pull you by the wrist to show you around the cave properly.
The place was indeed beautiful—magical. The blue lights hanging from above , the water that escaped from the cracks gently falling from above.
Huracan points towards a small hut, the roof made out of straw and the walls made of clay. Around the place was weeds that grew from the cracks on the ground— the small hut was surrounded by what looks like objects from the surface world— a scuba diver helmet, a recorder, a fisherman's boot..?
You suppressed a laugh as you thought about the little mermaid— how Ariel would collect anything that was found from the surface world in the ocean.
Huracan tugged at your hand towards the dimly lit hut— wanting to take you inside of it, you was hesitant, scared that you left the place you was at and it would cause the Talokanil King to be upset with you intruding.
"Come!" Huracan insisted, you took a thick gulp and allowed the boy to drag you to the hut, you were about to enter until a hand sudden grasped your unoccupied hand sending a fast chill of fear to spiral down your spine, goosebumps irrupting and covering your skin as you go pale.
" Huracan, why did you bring this surface dweller here?" You heard a gruff voice says from behind you , the grip on your wrist getting a bit tighter as it yanks you away from the young boy as you let's out a shocked gasp.
You turn around slowly, fear radiating off of you to see a Talokanil man, his skin a similar shade to Huracan's. He looked fierce and even more scarier than Namor, a scowl behind his apparatus.
"Attuma! I just wanted to show her my father's paintings." the boy whines out, a pout forming on his face but Attuma's stern expression didn't flutter at the child's attempt to let thr two of you off the hook.
You didn't understand anything the two said but from the Talokanil's tone in voice he was not happy. At all.
Attuma holds you by the arm tightly and pushes you away from the hut, he gently takes Huracan's hand but the boy slips it out of his grasp.
"Huracan.." the Talokanil warrior says in a warning tone but the boy ignores him and ducks under the man's arm to be by your side.
'Why does this kid like me so much?' You thought, your heart beating faster as Attuma sighs and just pushes you forward to walk back to where you was meant to be.
Attuma disliked— no he hated the idea that Namor brought a surface dweller, once again down to their secret kingdom. Attuma pushes you towards the hammock once they reached the place you was meant to be as you falls onto the flimsy cloth that was 'your bed'.
'My arm..' you thought, rubbing it gently as Huracan was pushed away by Attuma to not get closer to you.
How could his king, his Ruler, K'uk'ulkan — so easily trust this surface dweller? Did he not learn from what had happened a few months back with the Wakandians? Even though they had an alliance, Attuma still didn't like this idea— he felt that his home is now at even more threat than it was before and now seeing that you was roaming around freely in their secret home made him even more questionable towards K'uk'ulkan.
With a warning glare towards you—knowing that you won't understand his threat towards you, he walks away— Huracan being dragged with him as you just watched, fully understanding the wordless threat towards you.
'I need to get back home.' You thought, your body laying on the hammock as you curl your legs into your chest, your heartbeating faster that you could infact — be killed at any moment.

Namor's fingers gently touched the pearls in his hand, a heavy sigh leaves past his lips as he thinks about his late Queen.
She , Huracan and the Talokanils where the most precious things to him yet he had lost one of the things he cherished with his heart and soul. When the queen died, part of his heart also died with her— for him, she was the sun to him.
Her beautiful smile forever etched into his mind as a shaky sigh leaves past his parted lips as he leaves the pearls that had crafted pieces of vibranium threaded with it back down on his table— the last gift he had given to her before she was taken away from him and their son.
"FATHER! " He heard an all too familiar voice call out to him, instantly he was alarmed at the tone of voice Huracan had called for him. His thoughts instantly drifting towards you, his breath hitching at the fact that you may have harmed his son.
He rushed out of the hut, heart beating faster only to find Attuma holding onto the boy's arm tightly, bringing him towards the hut as the boy wails.
A sigh leaves post Namor's lips, feeling revealed that his son is okay but his brows furrow when he sees the way Attuma held him as he raises up his hand towards Attuma, instantly he let go of the child's arm as Huracan ran towards his father to hug his waist.
"Attuma is being mean to me again." The boy sobs into his father's chest as he gently pats his back.
"What happened now, Attuma?" The king asks.
"Huracan tried bringing the surface dweller in this area." Attuma simply says, Namor's eyes slightly widening as he looks down at Huracan.
"My child why did you try and do this? you know we can not trust her fully." Namor states, Huracan's glossy eyes looking up at his father.
Namor himself, does not really know what to do with you. It was a rushed decision to bring you to Talokan to heal you from your wound and you had a panic attack, if he had left you— you would have surely being dead. He wanted to leave you but his son didn't approve of this, insisting that you saved his life and took such great care of him.
He didn't think back than, now he is left with a problem— how is he going to send you back without you opening your mouth? What if you planned all of this, what if you manipulated Huracan?
Namor's trust in the surface world was weak, the only surface people he now trusted were Wakanda.
He had made a grave and foolish mistake yet for his son it was not. He had never seen his son so enthusiastic since the death of his mother.
"I just wanted to show her the paintings you did." Huracan says as Namor's gaze soften.
"Hura.. you know we can't trust the—" no y/n is different, she saved me. You are lying about the people from above." Huracn says defiantly letting go of his father, tears brimming his eyes.
"Hura—""leave me alone!" the boy shouts as Huracan pushes his father hand away from him.
"I'm tired of only being here and believing that all the surface people are bad yet the surface world is not as bad as you said. " Huracan shouts and backs away from his father and Attuma as he rans away before screaming,
"And ice cream is amazing and I hate you for keeping it away from me!" the boy says before diving into the pool, his father sighing, brows furrowing at the child's words as he have heard about this so called desert before.
"This child." the king mumbled out, heart stinging at the word hate as Huracan had thrown it towards him quite a few times.
"We should get rid of the woman, K'uk'ulkan." Attuma suddenly states, grabbing Namor's attention.
"And how we do that, Attuma? " Namor asks already knowing the answer to his question.
"Killing her." The Talokanil warrior says. Namor's creased his brows , a frown forming on his face. Knowing that if he was to kill you , Huracan would become even more hateful towards him and he didn't want this.
"I can not. Huracan would become hysterical." Namor says, watching as Attuma frowns deeply.
"It's for Huracan's own good. We don't know what's her true motives are, K’uk’ulkan." Attuma says, voice filled with warning. Namor was torn between the safety of his people and his son's fixation with some random surface dweller (you) , he regrets deeply spoiling the young child.
"You spoilt him way too much." Attuma mutters as Namor replies " Let's give her some time, we can't just go about and kill her. If she does anything that goes against us or is a threat than— we will kill her."
Attuma didn't like this decision as he gives K'uk'ulkan a firm nod— the tension between the two strong as Attuma walks away from K'uk'ulkan, his doubt and faith in his leader becoming weaker as he clenched his fist in anger and dismay.
𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄 | okay so now i need to write more new chapters but idk what else to write. writers block and college drained me :/

YOU FELT LIKE YOU WAS SINKING, sinking deeper and deeper into an abyss of darkness. You felt like you was suffocating, you couldnt see anything- your lungs felt heavy as if cement had dried within them.
Your eyes snap open wide, trickles of cold sweat runs down your skin, your back wet as if water had been splashed on to it.
Room spinning around, spiraling until it abruptly stop - gaze being met with a rocky ceiling where tendrils of blue light hung from it-your vision still blurry.
You closes your eyes, eyelashes drenched with tears, underneath your eyes wet and jaw stung. You breaths slowly, chest heaving up and down in an unrhythmical manner.
You moved your body slightly, mind still feeling fogged- only for your heart to skip a beat when your whole body seemed to move to the side, you did it again only for yourbbody to move to the other side.
You blink your eyes a few times, gently lifting your upper body up, the place you slept on felt unstable as your vision was much clearer - your eyes widen to find that you was in a cave and that you was laying on a hammock. The cave was adorn by what looked like blue lights giving the place a suttle blue glow.
Your heart starts to beat widley, throat parch and skin feeling clamy.
'Where am I..?' You thought, trying to figure out whether you was still dreaming but reality crashed upon you as memories from last night came crashing down, breath hitching as you can suddenly feel the cold harsh rain that fell on you, the pain that was on your right ankle and Huracan's enraged father.
You shake your head slightly to get rid of those thoughts as your fingers suddenly felt something soft underneath your touch- it was blankets that were neatly placed on you , you quickly removed it to look down at your right ankle, only to find it was wrapped in bandages, gently you moved it to the side and felt a slight pain.
It was less painful then you thought it would be causing your brows to furrow slightly.
Your eyes move up your body to find that you was now in a cream colored dress that had turquoise embroidery at the edges, the fabric felt extremly soft agaisnt your skin as you lift your arm to see it was a long sleeved dress.
The sound of footsteps echoing agaisnt the cave grabs your attention as you divert your attention towards the sound, heartbeating faster as your gaze is met with a woman- her skin is a marvelous shade of cerulean similar to Huracan's.
Your throat ran dry, the feeling of fear sinking within you when the lady made eye contact with you, the mask covered her mouth and nose, but you could still see the frown behind it.
You watched as the woman came towards the place you was, a tray was in her hands as she came towards you, the both of you making eye contact but the woman breaks it to leave the tray down on a small crafted table that was placed close to where the hammock was.
The woman did not say anything and just walks away leaving you restless s you gaze down at the tray to see it was filled with a variety of fruits- some you recognized and some you had never seen your whole life.
'Could she be related to Huracan?' You thought, mind a mess as yourbanxiety was slowly surfacing.
'Why did they not leave me on the beach?' Or 'Why did he not kill me?' You thought as no formidable answer came to mind making you feel even more anxious as your thoughts are once again interrupted by footsteps , gaze once again lifting up only for your eyes to widen slightly- it was Huracan's father.
Every step the king took was elegant and filled with authority. He still had that aura of regality with him, if not it was much stronger due to the cape he now adorned which was tucked into golden plates of armor on his shoulders.
What you noticed about him was that his skin didn't turn into a shade of cerulean nor did he wear any apparatus with water in it- you was curious but your fear was even greater.
He now stood a few feet from the hammock you sat on. The king's eyes held a look of apathy towards you, making you feel like you wanted to dissolve into nothing under his gaze.
"You're finally awake." The king breaks the silence between the two of you, gaze never leaving you as he continued to speak.
"To expiate for the way I behaved towards you in such a hostile manner last night, I have brought you here so that my healers can help and assist to heal you much faster." K'uk'ulkan states, voice echoing through out the cave- sending chills to spiral down your spine.
Feeling great trepidation, you gave a small nod and mumbled a soft 'thank you'.
K'uk'ulkan could see the uneasiness bubbling within you, the way you anxiously let your fingers dig into the blankets that surrounded you.
He was extremly grateful towards you for saving and nourishing his son but he couldn't fully trust you— your acts of kindness could have a hidden ulterior motive yet he took the risk because of his son's attachment towards you.
K'uk'ulkan was just going to leave you on the beach- that being his way of showing gratitude by not killing you for finding out about the Talokanils existence but seeing his son cry over your body, pleading him to save you- he could not just leave you, leading to you being brought here to heal.
You finally mustered the courage to ask him where you was but the sound of feet pattering agaisnt the floor echoed through out the cave as from a conner Huracan appears, a large smile graced upon his face from behind his apparatus.
Your eyes widen, an unknown smile gracing your features as the king looks away from you and towards the young boy that entered the place he was not allowed to.
"Hura what are you-"y/n!" The child excitedly shouts cutting his father's words and runs past him, only to head towards you.
"Huracan, wow ! Slow dow-" your words being muffled when the boy jumps and hugs you tightly almost dropping the both of you off the hammock as it sways unsteadily.
Hauran was elated at the sight of you still being alive, his arms rung around you tightly. He was anxious the whole night about you, pestering his father non stop- he just so happened to sneak up to the surface when he saw his father going and to his luck found you awake again.
"I'm so happy you are alive!" The boy cried out and finally let's go of you, only to cling onto your arm and take a seat on the Hammock.
You roll your shoulders due to the boy hugging you so tightly and the fact that his hug was almost bone crushing.
"Huracan, stop being clingy- you might hurt her even more." The king sighs out tiredly ,cautiously watching as you gave Huracan a gentle side hug.
"Hurcan seems to have taken a great liking towards you , usually he finds it hard to trust others and to create a bond with them." The king says in english towards you as you finally look up to make eye-contact with him, his brown eyes were not as harsh as they were last night but you could still see the uneasiness swirling with in them.
"I guess I am honored to earn his trust" you say thoughtfully as you swallow thickly.
" I would have not had anyone to assist me since I live alone, so once again thank you urm.." your words dying down slightly towards the end since you didn't know what to call the man.
"Namor." He states not too keen on allowing you to call him by his real name as he was still wary about you.
"K'uk'ulkan!" the boy says suddenly and points an accusing finger towards his father- who gave the young child a firm look.
"It's Namor to her, my child." K'uk'ulkan says, Huracan could only retaliate by sticking his tongue out towards his dad, this causing you to let out a stifled laugh which caused K'uk'ulkan to glare at you instantly cutting short your laugh.
"Y/n! you must eat, so you can get better! " the child says, lifting up what looks like a piece of melon towards you as you give the boy a smile as you understood what he meant from his gestures.
"It's okay, Hura. I'm not hungr-gwh" he pushes the small piece of melon into your mouth cutting your words as you was forced to take a bite.
You chewed the fruit slowly causing Hurcan to smile widely and feel happy that now he can take care of you.
K'uk'ulkan watched the two interact , he felt a slight pang of jealousy towards you, the surface dweller because you was able to form such a close relationship with the child.
Ever since Hurcan's mother's passing- the boy and his father's strong relationship was slowly breaking, K'uk'ulkan had made a promised to the young child that he won't let anything happen to his mother but that promise was broken along with Huracan's trust for his father when Huracan found his mother unmoving, the illness she had- had won against them leaving behind a heartbroken child and father.

PART 1
Soulmates. Many cultures and religions have different interpretations and stories about this concept.
The Greek philosopher Plato wrote that humans once had four arms, four legs and two faces. He stated that Zeus split us in half as a punishment for our pride, and we were destined to walk the Earth searching for our other half,
In Japanese culture it is believed that a magical cord connects two souls. It may stretch or tangle, but never break. The two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of place, time, or circumstances
while in Hindu culture, there's an idea that you have a karmic connection with a certain soul. It is called lehnu in the Gujarati language, which is the link with another soul that causes you to keep crossing paths, each time having a good impact on each other and improving our lives for the better.
There's many interpretation of what soulmates are truely here for, almost everyone in this world has one — a person that you could find comfort in, confined in and is your other half.
But for you, you still never found yours. Everyday you hoped to find your other half but nothing. It's been years and you passed the point of when most people found their other half, making you feel anxious and scared.
What if you never find them or what if you weren't destined to have one ? Most people start to form a marking on their wrist at 18— the marking being one that resembles something that both people have a strong connection with.
Most cases people get their soulmate marking as late as the age of 24 but you have passed that age making you worried and now almost hopeless that you weren't given another half.
The sound of the ocean waves crashing against the ship broke you from your depressed thoughts as your skin tingle, your teeth grinding agaisnt each other causing your fingers to twitch as you felt extremly sensitive to the harsh noises as you placed your noise canceling headphones on—your body instantly easing up once you connected your headphones.
You were currently on a ship in the Atlantic Ocean—to be specific a ship that consisted of CIA agents and the U.S Navy whom were utilizing a vibranium detector in search of vibranium in the ocean.
You were hired as an on board nurse, you job was to be a responder during emergencies, perform patient assessments, assist providence with clinical diagnosing, and administer medications and tests.
Everything was going smoothly, there was no serious issues just people coming in to do their daily vitality check ups.
You were surprised you are managing quite well in this new environment as you are a person who has sensory issues and find certain things to be extremly overwhelming but everything was fine, to be honest you were enjoying this new experience.
It was like a fresh breath of air away from the mundane everyday city life and the consistent searching for your soulmate.
But something also drawn you to join this expedition — not mainly money or change of life but the strong sensation to be close to the ocean.
You found comfort in the ocean. At times when the waves crashed harshly, it did cause you to feel extremly sensitive to the noise but at times when the ocean was calm, it felt like it was calling out to you, to join it.
There was something so hypnotic about the ocean to you, almost every weekend you would be at the beach— either just taking a walk on the shore and collecting sea shells or dipping your feet in the water.
So when you got the job opportunity to be on board and explore deeper parts of the ocean you could not turn down the offer ( and also the amount of money they were willing to pay you).
'If I can't have a soulmate than money should be my other half and comfort.' You thought, oddly that cheered you up as you thought of the things you want to get yourself once you are back on land as you start to unpack the medication from the stock room onto your shelves , extremly oblivious to the commotion that was occurring on the ship.
You were extremly focused on what you were doing that you didn't realize that someone else was in the room until you turned around, the medication you had in your hand fell to the ground.
Your eyes widening, the pulse behind your ear starts to throb. In front of you stood a man whom held a sharp spear like weapon but what shocked and scared you even more was his appearance. His skin a azure blue, body adorn with jewels and metals and what looked like an apparatus covering his noise and mouth.
A scream leaves past your lips, your heart beating faster. For once you extrmely regret wearing your noise canceling headphones as two people whom also had the same daunting appearance as the man came into the room after hearing your screams, their spears pointed towards you, your hands shakily take off your headphones to hear what they say and to try and communicate with them.
The sharp tip of the spear coming towards your neck, pressing against your flesh as tears start to brim at the corner of your eyes, your heart beating faster and faster as you felt like you were about to hyperventilate.
You have no experience with any combat or fighting, you could not escape this as you blinked your eyes as you start to plead for your life, tears falling from yours eyes and cascading down onto to your cheeks, your cheeks turning an apple red as you choke on your words.
"P-please I'll do anything, please don't kill me. I-I don't want to die." You cried out, your voice shaky as your legs felt weak as you fall to your knees, the spear following your movements.
"We should take her to K'uk'ulkan first, she might have insight on the scientist as the others didn't give in." one of the people said, the language was foreign to you and you didn't understand anything they said as you felt the spear coming closer to your neck once again.
There was no repsone to what the perosn said, instead a strong hand grasped onto your upper arm causing you to whimper as tears cascaded down your cheeks, the person pulling you up to your feet as they dragged you out of the room.
Your mind was jumbled up with so many questions , fear burning through out your body as you felt your senses overload. Your mind was frantically running in circles, your eyes widen when you find the corpses of CIA agents and marines , each brutally murdered and their blood splashed across the metal hallway as the bile in your throat burned, the heavy smell of blood entering your nose making you feel quisy and light headed, your hands and feet tingling as you hoped that this was all just a nightmare.
The chilled night air nips at your skin once you are on the top deck, the night sky and the moon being the witness of what was going on, the moonlight sparkled agaisnt the ocean and the tear stains that stuck to your skin.
There were more of these blue people on top and more corpses of people you have worked with scattered around making you feel nauseas as the man's grip on your forearm tightening as he walked towards a man and woman.
Your heart for some reason suddenly lurched in your chest, a cold draft falling upon you as the pulse in your neck starts to beat faster , you senses becoming even more alert.
"K'uk'ulkan" the three soliders say in unison, the man had his back facing them, a lady next to him— her skin a similar shade of blue to the men that have captured you but through your blurry eyes you noticed the man that's back was facing you— his skin was not blue rather a milky brown color. You skin pricked with goosebumps at the sight of him as he turns around.
Everything about him oozed regality from the confidence his body language gave off. He was muscluar and his chets was adorn by a large gold and jade neck plates, a necklace strung with shells and pearls hung around his neck too.
What looked like gold bracletes were cuffed around his biceps, wrists, and ankles.
He was extremly beautiful, the epitome of beauty. It made your heart haywire but his beautiful was covered with a scowl, eyes burning with anger and hatred towards you making you feel uneasy at the mixed emotions you felt towards this odd stranger.
You continued to cry, in fear of your life, you have never been in such a situation. Your breathing coming out uneasy as K’uk’ulkan comes towards you, his spear being held in a position to strike but when you look up at him again, your eyes filled with fear, tiredness and pain, your eyes that sparkled like the light that reflects off of the ocean — he hesitate.
Something warm fills his chest, his heart banging agaisnt his chest frantically as he without a second thought looked down at his wrist, a small marking was carved into his skin. It looked like someone had taken a knife and had curved the sign of the water element, his gaze moving away from this and towards you.
His gaze softens, the gaze that was once filled with hatred changed. He signals for his people to let go of you and they do without hesitation as you crumbled to the ground, loud sobs leaving past your lips as you quiver in fear.
K'uk'ulkan look down at you, he gaze at you with confusion and wonder. His heart in conflict that a surface dweller is his soulmate. The person he had been waiting for nearly 500 years. He had waited for centuries for his other half that he had almost given up on the idea of him having a soulmate.
Your loud sob breaks him out of his thoughts as his brows furrow in concern as he bends down towards you, your eyes closed shut in fear as you start to breath heavily.
Without hesitation, K'uk'ulkan placed his hand on your should— an instant surge of electricity shocked the both of you causing your eyes to open and his to widen in shock. The sensation felt amaizng, it seemed to calm you down and it made him feel a slight ease in his heart.
You look up at him with teary eyes, your gaze being met with warm brown eyes that calmed you down abit as a warm hand suddenly came and cupped your cheeks gently, your eyes widening at this sensation that made your skin tingle, your heart beat faster as the pad of his thumb gently wiped away the tears that collected underneath your eyes, you sniffles lightly.
The fear still stuck to you as your eyes move away from his and towards the people that surrounded you making you to take in a shaky breath in.
"It's okay." he spoke in english, his voice was soothing, it made your heart flutter as you start to breath normally your hands on their own moved towards the large hands that cupped your face as you placed your hands on top of his. That same electrifying sensation incapsulated the both of you, your hands felt soft against the top of his.
He gently moves his hand off of your face, as he takes your left hand in his. Your eyes still trained onto him, your soul aching as he looks down at your wrist and saw the freshly red scar marked on it — a water sign as he brushed his thumb aagisng it sending a shiver down your skin as you look down, his hand gently holding your hand as you notice the marking on your wrist, your eyes widen, heart skipped a beat as you looked back up at him but your still felt scared, the people around the two of you still made you feel uneasy as you quiver lightly.
K'uk'ulkan noticed this and without hesitation, he pulls you towards him. Your eyes widen as your body shook from fear, from everything that had just occured.
He held onto you delicately in his arms in a protective manner. You placed your hands on his bare chest, his skin was moist yet warm just being close to him made you feel safe as he gently pets your hair and soothingly whispers to you.
"I have waited for you, for so many centuries." He softly says as he gently tucks behind a strand of your hair. A warm gaze on his face as you finally calmed down.
He gently lifts you up with him, his arm securely wrapped around your waist as your side was flushed agaisnt him as he turns towards Namora and says something to her that you didn't understand, you watched as the woman warily eye you but nods her head , she indicates to the other warriors to leave as they all jump off the ship and into the water causing your eyes to widen as K’uk’ulkan notices this and gently pats his hand agaisnt your waist to comfort you.
You watched as the woman takes off the apparatus on her face and hands it to the man, he nods his head as she jumps into the water.
K'uk'ulkan turns toward you, a soft expression on his face as he holds it in front of your face . One of his hands gently placed on the side of your face as he stares deeply into your eyes.
" you have to trust me and wear this mask, I will take you to a much safer place and explain everything to you. " he gently explained, your eyes showed slightly conflict making him feel anxious for you response.
You gulped thickly and you placed your hand over his.
"I'll come with you but what is your name? " you asked him, your heart pounding agaisnt your chest.
A smile cracked on his face.
" K'uk'ulkan " he says, your brain engraving the name into your mind.
"and yours ? "
"Y/n " you said, his head tilt lightly and the smile was still etched on his features.
" y/n " he repeats, testing your name on his tongue as it rolled off with ease from his mouth, the way he said your name made your heart skip a beat.
"I'm ready, K'uk'ulkan. " you softly said, a shiver running down his spine when you uttered his name as he gently place the mask on your nose and mouth as he softly say something that slowly made you feel drowsy before everything went dark.

IT WAS NOW EVENING, the sun dipping below the horizon kissing the ocean goodbye, the sky a purplish-orange color adorn with a few grey clouds as Huracan and you were still outside enjoying the last bits of the day before it was time to go back in.
You had came to term with the fact that Huracan staying with you was only going to be momentarily. You grew attached to the child due to the loneliness that you felt from staying by herself for months in isolation, away from others due to your health issues.
You wondered if Huracan was also lonely and just wanted some company but your mind now questioning if Huracan has a family, what if they are waiting for him? Worried about him and in search of him, thinking of the worst things that could have happened to him. This left you to ruminate over
your thoughts as your gaze fall on the sky, that is becoming darker and darker.
There was thunder clouds looming above you due to the hot weather you experienced today, the clouds were forming and becoming aggravated with each second that passed by— this alarming you as you walk back to the tidal pool to retrieve Huracan and putting a stop to your fleeting thoughts.
"C'mon, Hura. We need to get back in." You say, watching as the boy breaks through the surface of the water— eyes sparkling with life as he listens to you instantly, emerging from the pool only to latch onto your arm, his skin turning back into a shade of blue as you both walk home.
The rain came down. It suddenly came down heavy causing you to gasp in shock when the harsh rain pelted down onto you, you turn towards Huracan to notice that he had his eyes closed— enjoying the rain water that got soaked into his skin while you on the other hand felt a shiver tingling down your spine even though the air was warm.
Knowing that if you had to stay in the rain for way too long— you would definitely get sick but watching the boy enjoy the fresh water that falls onto him , you decided to wait a few minutes because seeing his face brighten up from just the simple feeling of rain water against his skin made you realize that the simple things in life is what makes living much better, it made you feel at ease with yourself.
A bright flash of purple and then a loud crackling noise followed by a hiss came from above you and Huracan shocks you at the loud noise and the thunderstorm that has finally brewed up, the rain became even heavier causing your heart to beat faster.
"Let's get back inside, we don't want to become fried fish today." You say, laughing at your lame excuse of a joke which Huracan didn't understand fully but he did understand that you wanted to go back inside from the way your body had stiffened slightly.
He was about to agree but then the sight of a shiny, shell that was a bit closer to the ocean water grabs his attention— he wanted to get that shell so that he could give it to you, forgetting that you wanted to go back in as he leaves your side, alarming you as he runs down the bank to go and retrieve the shell.
"Huracan!" You shout out alarmed, the rain pelting down heavily, the sky above you becoming dark— the only source of light now coming from the lighting that viciously flashed from above and the few outside lights from your house.
You slide down the steep slope to get to the boy only for your flip-flop to get stuck into something and in turn crashing into the youngster causing him to also fall and let out a small yelp.
"oh gosh, Hura! I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to!" You cried out, you moved to his side to see that you had slightly bruised his knee cap, crimson escaping from the bruise as guilt consumes you from being so unconscious and not watching where you walked.
Huracan didn't feel much pain from the small bruise, he was about to tell you it's okay but you tore a small part of your shirt to help stop the bleeding. A small amount of blood covered your finger tips when you wrapped the small piece of cloth around his tiny knee cap, tightening the cloth around it.
A throbbing feeling around your ankle became prominent as you gazes down at your leg, to find that you had slightly twisted your ankle due to your flip-flop getting stuck onto something— that being the whole reason you slipped.
A small cry leaves from your parted lips, the thunderstorm viciously going on above them as the rain fell down. Your body was drenched in rain water, making you shiver adding more to the pain you felt in your ankle.
"Y-Y/N!" the young child cried out grasping onto your shoulders, he gazed at you to find that tears were also trailing down your cheeks with the rain water, your hands covered in wet sea sand and dabs of blood.
This made tears to form in Huracan's eyes, he was now scared and worried about you, the person that took care of him like he was their own child— he didn't know what to do to help you, making him feel even more worried and scared as the thunder flashed and rumbled.
Your body that trembled suddenly went stiff, your blood running cold— you felt like you and Huracan were being watched.
You were right.
The sound of something fluttering, similar to the sound of a rattle snake mingled with the harsh noises of the rain, lightning and the waves that crashed close by.
The fluttering sound stops , it suddenly goes eeirely quite, Huracan's whimpers go silent and before you could comprehend whether you was just feeling paranoid —something grasped the collar of the shirt you wore and pulled you harshly away from Huracan, throwing you to the other side away from him.
You heard Huracan scream your name out, your body feeling extremly numb, the world around you spinning while terror sunk into every firbe of your being.
Your neck twists to the side to see what had thrown you so viciously away from Huracan, fear laminating in your eyes, your gaze being met with the tip of a sharp spear, your body flinching away from it in terror but it was now pressed against the side of your neck in a threatening manner to slice your head off clean.
The lightning struck again, giving you a better vision of what was being hostile towards you , your eyes widening when your gaze falls on a man— his entire being radiate regality from the way his body oozed confidence to the jewelry that was adorn upon him. His chest covered in some sort of metal that was beautiful crafted, the same type of metal also adorning his biceps and wrists.
She also noticed that he had pointed ears, adorn with jewels just like the rest of him.
You shakily raise your hands, to say you was no threat or harm but this act seemed to make the man even more infuriated when he spotted dabs of blood smeared on your finger tips and then seeing blood around the area where Huracan was.
"How dare you take my son away and harm him?"
Shit. Was the first thought that came to your mind, you was right, Huracan did have someone to go back to— your thoughts being cut short when the cold tip of the spear pressed even closer to your neck that you could feel the pressure tearing slightly into your skin.
Your words were stuck in your throat from fear, you couldn't formulate a response except for a shaky breath to escape past your lips, your body trembling from pain and fear.
Due to your lack of response that made the King even more agitated, his spear was about to press into the side of your neck but tiny hands wrapped around his arm, holding it in place before he could slash at you.
"Father, please don't!" the young child cried out in his own language, this alerting the king who turns towards his son— the furious look that had adorn his face moments ago was replaced by one that was filled with worry.
"Huracan, my child. Are you alright? Did it hurt you?" his voice venomous when he says the word it , you didn't understand what they were saying but from the side glare the man had passed to you, you knew he had said something about you.
"No! Do not bring harm to y/n, she had saved me! Please do not harm her, she didn't do anything wrong. If you want to punish someone, father— it should be me, I should have never left Talokan." The boy sobs out, hearing Huracan's broken voice made your chest hurt— your eyes squeezing shut to prevent any tears from escaping as everything around you started to spin, the world around you becoming blurry as all the pain you felt physically and emotionally became blunt.
Your vision being filled with black dots that became larger until your eyes closed completely, body slumping into the sand— the fear you felt along with the pain made you fall unconscious this grabbing Huracan's attention, the boy letting go of his father's arm to rush towards you.
A cry leaves past his parted lips, his hands reached out to hug your cold body against his.
"Look what you have done, father. You killed her!" The boy says inbetween sobs, you was far from dead but to Huracan seeing your still body, no warm smile on your face and your eyes that twinkled with care and affection was no longer there— you looked dead to him.
K'uk'ulkan looked down at you. His son held onto you so gently, the rain easing down — the thunderstorm slowly clearing up.
"Hura.. she's not dead." The king says while his inner voice says 'well not yet'. He didn't trust you, this human but the way his son held onto you like his own life depended on you— he could not just kill you after he found out you had saved his son.
"You have to help her then or else I'll hate you forever." Huracan suddenly spat out— eyes shining bright with anger and saddness, his words stung K'uk'ulkan , his heart aching at the words his son spewed at him. An expression of hurt forms on K'uk'ulkan's face, a soft sigh leaving past his lips.
He glances down at your unconscious form that laid on the sand, his son's words floating around in his mind. He bends down towards you, taking in your features— noticing your skin has gotten paler and your ankle was swelling.
He was not keen on helping you, a surface dweller, he had hate for these disparage creatures but seeing how his son has become attached to you, clinging. He couldn't just kill you.
With one last glance towards your unconscious body, he looks back towards the raging ocean as he signals for Namora to come to him. He turns away and looks down at his son, his heart softening when he sees the tears on his cheeks as he sighs lightly.
'I'm only doing this for you my child.'

THE SKY WAS A PEACH color in the early morning. The ocean was calm, the sun that was slowly getting up from its slumber greets the ocean with its rays of light causing the ocean to twinkle and sparkle like stars.
Your eyes were still fogged with sleep but when the first ray of light entered your room, your slumber was broken— your mind instantly telling you to get up and check on Huracan.
"Hura.." you mumbled out, voice still laced with fatigue when you entered the bathroom to find that the young child was already up— gaze was lingering at the window that was across from him, staring at the sky that was slowly turning from a shade of peach-red to a blue.
"You're up, Good Morning." You say, your voice was calm with a subtle hint of fatigue , Huracan turns towards you — a lopsided smile plastered on his face, he seemed to be much better then before.
"Good Morning" the boy says out in english, his words were thick with an accent but it did surprise you, that he had picked up on basic greetings.
"Well this is a pleasant surprise." You state heading towards the side of the bath tub to check on Huracan's wounds. The boy adjusted himself in the water so that you could check his wounds, when you had peeled off the last bit of bandages a gasp leaves past your lips— the bite mark from the shark was completely healed just leaving behind a scar—such healing would take months, maybe even a year but Huracan was healed in a weeks time.
"It's gone.." you mumbled out, gazing back up at the boy that smiled at you.
˖࣪ 𓇬 ˖࣪ 𓇬 ˖࣪ 𓇬
After getting ready for the day and feeding Huracan and yourself, you decides to take him out— deciding that it was now time to let him go.
Your time with him was short but it was also worth every moment you spent with him.
The air was warm today, the ocean was calm— it was a perfect time to send him back. Your hand held onto his as you both walked towards the ocean, the sun being the only witness to know that you had helped and saved the prince of the ocean.
Huracan stared at the ocean, the place that was his home but he didn't want to go back yet, he really enjoyed the company you gave him— you gave him affection he lacked, even though back at home, everyone in Talokan including his father showered him with love and affection but the type of affection that you had given to him, made him feel even safer and calm— it was motherly affection that he lacked and unknown to you, you gave him that affection for the short time you have known each other.
Suddenly, Huracan let's go of your hand and runs instead towards the direction of the tidal pool— your brows knitting together as you follow him, he turns back towards you and suddenly hugs your waist— shocking you.
"Hura, what's wrong? Do you still feel pain ?" Your voice laced with worry, the boy understood the word 'pain' and could sense the panic in your voice, hugging you tightly.
"D-don't want to go back yet, stay with you for a bit." the boy stammered out in english causing you to look down at him, shocked that he could form a sentence in english and also feeling relieved that he didn't want to leave you yet, a smile forming on your face as you softly placed your hand on his back and hugged him back gently.
"Okay, I won't let you go until you feel most comfortable to but if I see that the surface is affecting you really badly, I'll be forced to send you back— okay?" You say in a soft tone, the boy understood you slightly and nods his head, letting go of you and then pulling you with him into the tidal pool causing a laugh to escape your parted lips.
This was the first time in years you had felt genuinely happy.
Little did the two of you know, that you were being watched from somewhere in the ocean— eyes trained on the both of you in worry, anger and panic.
"We should go and take him now, Namora." Attuma insists, anger boiling in his blood at the fact that you , this surface dweller had taken the young prince— after days of searching for Huracan, they finally found him.
Huracan had snucked out of Talokan— the young boy was curious about the world beyond the uderwater city but that curiousity had lead to him getting lost and also being attacked by a shark resulting in him being unconscious and floating up to the surface where Alora had found him.
The dispearance of the young prince, left an enraged king— who didn't blame anyone but himself, he was so wrapped up around the issue of the surface dwellers finding out about Talokan along with the tension that was between Talokan and Wakanda that he didn't have time to see to his son— this was his biggest regret.
Namora surveys the behavior of you with Huracan, she notices that you was not being hostile with the young prince rather you was playing around with him but something also told Namora that you could be using a façade.
"The surface dweller does not seem to be a threat , we can't just go in and kill. We must inform K'uk'ulkan first before we do anything else." Namora states and submerges into the water, Attuma was in disbelief at her words as he gives one last glance at the prince and you, a venomous glare being thrown at you before he submerged into the depths of the ocean.
˖࣪ 𓇬 ˖࣪ 𓇬 ˖࣪ 𓇬
Talokan was in despair after the disappearance of Prince Huracan. The young boy was the King's only son whom he treasured with his heart and soul, now the king was anguished in despair at the fact he may have lost his son forever.
He had sent his top generals to go and seek for the young boy one more time, in hopes of any sightings before he went on a rampage in finding his precious son. His generals were back , his heart ponding as he sees no sighting of Huracan.
"K'uk'ulkan" they both said in unison, doing the hand gestures towards their king who returned it back.
"anything?" the king's voice was rasp, his tone filled with hope and a mixture of sadness. Attuma steps forward, pressing his spear into the ground.
"We have found sightings of Harucan." Attuma states, this causes the King's body to jerk up— his heart beating faster and hope burning through his veins.
" than where is he ? "
"However, we have found that he was on the surface with a surface dweller." Attuma said, voice monotoned.
These words made K'uk'ulkan's blood boil, his face that was perceived in a calm manner twisted into an enraged one, he gets off his thrown in anger.
"What ? And did you two not think of retrieving him back?" K'uk'ulkan angrily asks, trying to push back his anger that he didn't want to throw at his people, for this anger was towards himself and the surface dweller that took his son from him.
"They don't seem to be hostile with Prince Huracan but we can not be slow as we do not know the true intentions that this surface dweller holds." Attuma states, voice gravel with caution and stoic as their King's blood boiled in anger as to what this surface dweller might do to his only heir.
"We shall leave now to retrieve him." The king announces, the two generals follow behind their king— who's mind was now only focused on the safety of his son.
PART 4
That's actually was just a joke about how there's plenty of more powerful people than Namor on the surface world and taking over the world wouldn't be as easy as he thinks, of course i notice the obvious imperialism metaphors of the character and of course the surface world are not "the good guys" but Namor isn't either, he literally was forcing a whole nation to go to war and when they didn't, he destroyed their home and killed a whole buch of people including their queen, so yeah i guess on a technical level the Avengers would have to do something cause otherwise Wakanda wouldn't last for much long
Namor was really giving a lot of credit on himself and his technology to swear revenge against the surface world, but the only good advantage he had was that he's basically Hermes and that fact that half the earth is made of water. But the only thing him and his people had going on, is some water bombs and some dope fighting skills, while the earth is literally being guarded by at least 50 heroes, that consists on literal gods, mages and people that can bend the universe at will.
Really, all it takes to win this war would be to Thor send an thunder on the sea and there it goes! Half his army is gone! We're eating fried shrimp on dinner!
Ngl if Namor tried he’d be electrocuted by Thor like bro.
The easiest way to defeat Namor is just puting an electric cable on water, im impressed no one though of it
