I just want to point out this was their last exchange before today.
And Crosshair rejects Hunter’s olive branch here. So it does make sense for there to be hurt, and complicated dynamics.
It’s also worth mentioning this season is showing us a Hunter that is very emotionally unstable. He wanted to find Omega no matter what, and even put himself and Wrecker at risk to do so. More than once.
This is a direct consequence of losing Tech, Omega and Crosshair himself. Hunter is now desperate to keep the rest of his crew safe, and not necessarily making the wisest choices as he goes.
Crosshair chose to be a threat at the end of season one. Hunter hasn’t seen him since. So it does make sense for him to be rough about it, considering the circumstances. Be nice to my deranged space dad, okay?
