What the fuck is up with the rain on hermitcraft. Like, it doesn't USUALLY rain frequently right??? Except now even jevin and beef commented on the rain, complaining that it rains every day??!!

Scratch that, it's not just the rain:

it's Doc flooding joes base while quoting the Bible, Gem's whole town that literally has people cannonicly going insane from the water & a scientist that researches it, Mumbo building a lab to research what's wrong with the water, Grian's whole Mending book lore, False building rivers and saying there's something going on with the water, big salmon,...

...Incase yall are wondering why the second chapter is taking so long, it's cause i keep coming up w/ new art ideas for it. Also, I'm only halfway through the chapter and already at 2.3k words... Oops-

I think ill only include the 3 artworks I've already drawn in this chapter so i can try n finish it this week, I'll just post Keralis' & Xisuma's bee outfits with their character designs (once i actually have time to get started on the character designs)

Important question for my hermitcraft fic/au

So I'm working on the second chapter of my hermitcraft au/fic wolau, and...

I KEEP GETTING DISTRACTED BY ART. I'm just trying to finally finish the chapter but I'm having so many ideas for art and now I've already started working on 3 artworks for said chapter... Originally i was just gona do one artwork per chapter...

Anyways, have 2 of the WIP sketches while i try to finally finish the chapter!!!

OKAY SO UNFORTUNATELY, my (unmedicated) adhd said ✨no✨to me finishing the first chapter of wolau on time, HOWEVER: I've instead worked on some future chapters AND started working on two artworks for the first chapter (instead of just one)

The way iskall gives them this HORRIBLE deal, and then. He just adds on completely irrelevant "benefits" (like a balcony) until they just say yes to get him to go away. He just starts with such an outrageous deal, that even when he adds more and more to it its still practically the same as during the beginning. What the fuck. I love him.

First chapter of wolau (my hermitcraft au/fanfic) might get posted this week!!! I'm gona try and finish it tomorrow, but i can't make any promises since it's still a WIP...

Hmmm question about ao3 tagging for yall since I've never rly published fics on ao3 (i was a fanfic.de/.net kinda guy)

So my fic, wolau, is focused on a main character (grian) who isn't in a romantic relationship with anyone. However, 2 other members of the main cast (boat boys) have a kind of ambiguous / lowkey romantic relationship. And I'm not sure whether i should just tag it Gen, or both Gen and M/M? Cause there will be some bits and bobs out of their pov.

OH ALSO I might end up splitting wolau into multiple fics (one for each major arc) bc of tags and such, if i end up doing that then the first one will DEFINITELY be Gen, since the relationship only rly starts in the second to third arc

I love how doc has committed literal war crimes during his time on hermitcraft, but the thing that gets him thrown into (air) jail is killing some random pig of all things.

Just wanted to add that this vote isn't like, gona decide EXACTLY what im gona do (unlike the last one), its just so ik what yall would prefer. What i actually end up doing depends on the story and how everything works out, but this poll will definitely play a big factor in the decision!

The thing im not sure about is whether i should just like, write the longfic and then have some chapters be comics (1), make the longfic but add artworks in each chapter to illustrate the scenes (2), or write the longfic and focus it on the main plot and then post like seperate small comics of other characters povs on tumblr (3)

I think option two is the one im probably gona do... But im curious about yalls opinion!!! Feel free to suggest other options too :D

Everytime i read a fic and doc says a german word I start screaming with joy. Especially if its a swearword.

1. Hes not evil. Hes trying to be, but he really sucks at it

2. Hes the scapegoat. The forgotten brother. Hes the one who always got blamed for everything and never had a support system. He became the thing they were scared of out of self defense, out of desperation. He never had a choice. He never wanted this. But at least hes the one getting hurt and blamed for everything, not his brother. (or, alternatively: hes so angry at his brother for getting everything evil x ever wanted to have)

The hermitcraft art request im currently working on is pearl killing Bdubs and imp during double life, after that ill probably draw the one i got about grian perching on cleo and then the others.

Feel free to suggest anything hermitcraft or life series related! It might take a while cause im a slow artist + i got a lot on my plate, but I do try to do all of them :D

I think someone already suggested this, but maybe like using shadowrot aka lizziexcleo would be a cool way to also have boat boys?

but yeah, I've definitely considered this, i just don't know how well it would fit the plot? Both cleo and Lizzy are characters that are only mentioned in passing, but i could at least imply the ship. Actually, the more i think about this, the more I'm realizing this could actually help solve a plot hole....

Okok so 1st: technically I'm not that big of a shipper, but my brain doesn't seem to get the memo and i frequently hyperfixate on ships... Currently its boatboys and rendoc! I do lowkey like Renchanting, flower husbands, ZIT and grumbo too tho.

Speaking of it, RENCHANTING IS SO COOL! i still haven't watched their 3rd life vids, but it's def on my todo list!!! I feel like their RP heavy interactions can be rly exciting/entertaining, but also absolutely hilarious. For example, Martyns reaction to Doc n Ren getting married was so silly. Meanwhile, their dogwarts lore is angsty af. (at least from what I've heard, like i said i haven't had the time to watch it yet)

OHHH I LOVE MUMBO AND ISKALL SO MUCH!!! they are so silly oh my god. The constant back n forth pranks? Mumbo adding blocks to the monstrosity?? Or standing still while talking to iskall??? They are so silly oh my god. I'm so glad i started watching both of them this season!! Don't rly ship them but they r an absolutely amazing duo and i hope i get to see more of their interactions during season 10!!!

Martyn and Scott... Mean gills! Imma be honest, it's been a WHILE since I've watched scotts limited life, but i remember them being quite entertaining :D their skins were so cool. Personally i don't ship them, but i def get the appeal. They a rly fun duo tho, especially during a life series! (i actually am searching up limited life as i type this... Looks like I'll be rewatching scotts vids again LMFAO). I generally think Scott, the sassy calculated one and Martyn, the dramatic roleplayer, are an amazing combo.

EFFO AND BDUBS!!! They r v silly. I haven't seen a lot of their interactions yet, since I've only watched effos season 8-10 and only recently started watching Bdubs s10, but their horse race project in season 8 was so cool! Im so sad they didnt get to finish it :( i don't rly ship them, but i think that's literally just bc of my boat boys hyperfixation... I did read a rly cool romantic longfic w/ them a while ago! It was p good :D other than that, i love their dynamic sm. Like, ethos 'calmer' teasing and Bdubs loud and dramatic personality make for some absolutely hilarious moments. Also, i wish they did a project together cause i absolutely LOVE both their building styles and i rlyyy wanna see them collaborate on a build!!! It would be so coolllll
