In your harlequin opal au, who would Rose take with her instead of pearl?

That's a good question I haven't thought of the concrete answer to yet! I was thinking of a few options:

Jasper was Pink's personal guard and saw her transform into Rose. Pink swore her to secrecy and Jasper obediently fought along side her, not really thinking of if she wanted to fight for Earth or not.

Blue Zircon pieced together the clues Pink leaves in a few files and comes to Earth to confirm her suspicions during the war. She finds Rose and Rose swears her to secrecy. Zircon joins the crystal gems out of wanting to figure out why Pink Diamond rebelled and helps Pink cover her tracks better.

Lapis Lazuli is found by Pink and freed earlier, joining the crystal gems after finding out Pink's secret. She wants to help her savior and slowly falls in love with the Earth. Less trauma. Gets along well with Amethyst.

Random corrupted gems!

Mojave Turquoise was once a very intelligent archeologist, whose duty was to gather important and useful treasures from the organics of conquered worlds. She never heard the call to retreat. 

Sodalite was a crystal gem…. Until Rose killed Pink. Sodalite thought all death was unnecessary, seeing too much in her time as a homeworld loyalist. She left to be a loner on earth, not loyal to either homeworld nor the crystal gems. Unfortunately, staying on Earth was a bad idea. 

I might do more corrupted gems if you guys send me gem ideas :V
