AU where everything is the same but Misako is replaced with Koko (this fueled on my general disdain towards misako i’m sorry).

So Koko never left Lloyd at a boarding school and instead she and him lived on the outskirts of a small village, where she worked as a nurse and Lloyd went to school like a normal boy. Instead of Lloyd getting kicked out of boarding school be just ran away. He was tired of everyone in the village ignoring him and his mother just because of who his father was, he was tired of his mother having to work so hard to supply basic needs for the two of them and having no one to take care of her in turn. So he ran away to hopefully find a way to bring his dad back, only this made Koko absolutely freak out because her literal child just vanished while she was working one day.

Everything plays out the same as canon, only Koko actually spends all her time looking for Lloyd until she finds him all grown up. After that she joins the team as the official ninja team medic, teaching them all basic first aid and taking care of all the serious injuries. Also she doesn’t flirt with Wu at all and instead the two of them joke around about how they used to like each other and how strange it was cause they’re chill good friends only in this au.

fic idea where Jay knows morse code and whenever he gets anxious he starts to rely on it to communicate how he truly feels and it’s sort of an outlet to let his emotions all out and sure not one understands but he’s fine with that. he doesn’t want to be a burden.

but one day Zane gets curious and downloads a morse code guide to understand Jay whenever he uses it and is just shocked to learn that Jay has just been Jay nervously venting out his soul. so he starts to slowly respond to Jay in morse code, giving him words of comfort and such and at first Jay is like ‘you know morse code???? ahhhhhhh don’t tell anyone what i say’ and from then on Zane becomes part of Jay’s support system, sending him calming and reassuring words through a language on they can understand and over time Zane starts to vent to Jay through morse code as well, letting him know his deepest secrets about his anxiety as well and Jay returns the favor, telling him it’s alright and that nothing bad will happen again.

this fic could go two ways now,, post season three angst where Jay just lays in bed unable to sleep slowly tapping away in morse code missing his dear friend or a much fluffier way where the rest of the team is persistent about wanting to know what they say in morse code and keep trying to ask Jay and Zane about it but they just explain how it’s their little secret that neither of them are ready to share with the others, but one day, they might just share the truth with them.

mmm i feel like the reason that Movie! Zane is so cursed is because he’s so jarring compared to Show! Zane

Like Show! Zane’s main characteristic is his humanity, I’d argue that the in the show (at least within the first three seasons) Zane’s main thing is that he while he isn’t human he has the empathy of a human, but in the movie Zane’s humanity is completely erased to make ‘HaHa Funny Robot Jokes’ and that’s why Movie!Zane so cursed. He’s just a jarring mischaracterization of what made Zane himself

So many ppl i follow on instagram watched MotO and like,,, so many of them think ninjago is over and i wanna tell them so badly about the rest of it but idk them and just follow them jdhdhdhdbdb i just want them to know there are more seasons man!!!
