People are so unappreciative these days, it really fucking shows.

The kpop community disgusts me. I absolutely hate how toxic some people make this community. At this point you can’t even say “it’s just a few people.” It’s not, it’s really fucking not. Your words hurt people, fuck the lines “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” Words hurt.

Just because your fav has to act like they can’t see all this backlash, and act as if they’re happy with an extra cherry on top, does NOT mean they are. Idols face so many hardships, like ordinary people, because that’s what they are.

They. Are. People.

They are humans.

They have feelings.

They feel hurt, and pain, and happiness, and fear and every other emotion you do.

Because they are human.

How many times does someone have to repeat that until everyone realises.

Idols are not machines.

Idols aren’t immune to your words.

Idols feel pain.

Idols are human.

They’re people with tons of pressure on them, they have no privacy, they get harrassed, they can’t even walk through a fucking airport without being mobbed.

So, stop saying shit to chan, and literally every other idol. Momoland didn’t deserve the shit they got, red velvet didn’t deserve the shit they got, and clearly chan doesn’t deserve it either.

He’s a human.

He made TWO (2) fucking mistakes and everyone’s making it seem like he caused the Third World War.

Chan has owned up to and apologised for his mistakes, what more do you want? He can’t go back in time and erase the mistakes he made.

Of course, I was upset and disappointed when those mistakes happened, but I wasn’t about to turn around, unstan and start hating on the poor fucking guy.

Don’t act high and mighty just because you didn’t make the same mistake as him, because odds are, you’ve fucked up just as bad or even worse, than he did.

That man devotes his time into making us, STAYs, happy.

He goes live every week to talk with us and interact, sing to us, give us advice.

And some of you take him and his actions for granted.

Some of you don’t focus on what he does everyday to make us happy.

Some of you only focus on the shit he did in the past.

And it really shows.

Sulli didn’t deserve to die, Jonghyun didn’t deserve to die and chan doesn’t deserve to die.

No one deserves any of that.

And as much as I hate seungri, (because yknow, he ACTUALLY FUCKED UP) I’m not gonna sit here in my tiny ass bedroom and wish death upon him.

Because I’m better than that.

You’re better than that.

Literally everyone is better than that.

But clearly not.

culture appropriation: taking something from a culture that is not theirs and using it disrespectfully or mockingly to some extent.

culture appreciation: taking something from a culture that is not theirs and embracing it without using it in any form of disrespect.

there is a difference. although the line is very thin, and some might confuse the two. instead of cancelling/bashing someone immediately for doing something they genuinely think is cool or beautiful, educate them on the past history of the look.

wearing a hairstyle because they believe it looks cool and they want to embrace a culture that isn’t theirs is not and should not be categorized with blackface or anything as disrespect as that.

I’m a BTS fan and have been since their debute so don’t fucking come at me with bullshit, you’ll be blocked and ignored.

I’m annoyed that they’re being considered for military exemption and if its only them that pisses me the fuck off. Just because they’re on the Billboard doesn’t mean they should get special treatment when every other boy group who works just as hard has to do their mandatory military service because they’re not “popular” enough. Thats bullshit and thats wrong, and it makes me so fucking mad that it has a good possibility of happening. I hope it doesn’t pass because there’s no equality there.
