according to jensen, here dean was thinking:
I strongly believe that Buck and Eddie are the type of boyfriends who will shower each other in soft, sweet kisses. Eddie kissing Buck’s birthmark after a long shift. Buck kissing Eddie’s little mole underneath his eye in the morning. Eddie stealing a quick kiss to Buck’s dimple when he’s made him smile. Buck kissing Eddie’s scars while they’re in bed. They’re just those kind of saps with each other.

EVAN BUCKLEY WEEK 2022 ↳ DAY TWO: FAVORITE LINES OR SCENES
Teacher: I changed the due date for that project I assigned you all, it's due tomorrow!
Class: *screams*
Teacher: Got you! April fools!
Rin: Haha, who needs April Fools when your entire life is one big, sick joke!
Rin: ...
Rin: ...I'm about to start crying.
Suguro: Shit, dude. C'mere.
Rin, in Suguro's arms: I was raised in a monastery, Suguro. A monastery! The son of Satan, raised in a monastery! My LAST NAME is a play on the word "demon" in Japanese!
Rin, now sobbing: IT'S ONE HUGE FUCKING JOKE WITHOUT A PUNCHLINE
'we live with the reminder every day, staring us in the face' was such a cruel line. Coming from a mother about her own son? It makes me sick every time. It deprives little Buck of all humanity, it reduces him to nothing but the constant reminder of a bad memory. It makes him look like some sort of imposter, a stranger that lives in your house and asks to be loved without having any right to. Some horror movie shit. 'Staring us in the face'? Like he's nothing but a body that stole her dead son's features and now keeps teasing her about it; whose only purpose would be to make sure she remembers she has to keep the bad version forever because she wasn't allowed to keep the good one. Demanding attention just so he can torture her with the memory. I do wonder if Buck was ever anything to them - both his parents - other than 'defective spare parts' and a bad, bad memory to look away from for as long as they could
I see the way he looks at you // even when you aren’t looking at him
