Like chris smalls and the union organizers didn't win by writing scathing op-eds about Amazon and sending out long dry newsletters with donation links about Amazon's unfair labor practices to employees, they won by literally meeting people where they were at, at the bus stop where the workers gathered to go home, and hosting cookouts and bonfires. He ate with people and smoked with them and talked to them about their lives and the job, about their rights as workers and how life could be better. He brought joy to them!!! And food and community!! And that's how one of the biggest victories for labor in a century was won. If I can't dance I don't want to be in your revolution

The destruction was not limited to our house; it extended to shattering the sense of security in the hearts of my children, who suddenly found themselves facing a harsh reality filled with fear and anxiety. They lost their childhood, their safety, and even the freedom to dream as they once did.🥺

Today, I write to you as a father, helpless before the needs of his children, yet holding onto the hope that my plea will resonate with your compassionate hearts. My greatest wish is to be able to secure a safe haven for them—a shelter that restores some semblance of the life they lost and erases a part of the pain they endured. Muhammad and Mona are a young family with two beautiful daughters, 6 year old Iman and 5 year old Toleen. i have been keeping in contact with Mona on whatsapp for a while and the things she tells me are beyond horror. there are rumors of the border crossing opening soon, so they need funds for that (30,000$ for all 4 members of the family), but even more urgently - funds to just survive.

Iman and Toleen, these vibrant, fun-loving little girls are forced to go through WINTER in a thin, nylon tent with a torn roof! the outrageous prices of any clothes at all leave the sisters sharing a single pair of torn slippers. and somehow, their parents still need to buy food.

this campaign is stagnating, and the goal is a very achievable one. even if all of my followers donated 10 dollars, they would be set!

currently they need around a 1500$ for a new tent, and around 1000$ for winter clothes for the girls.
