hi new cookie run fans!! i joined the fandom in 2021 following the game's first huge burst of popularity, and ive noticed that a lot of people dont realize that some of the characters canonically use they/them

(forgive me if this post is a little passive aggressive, this has been something thats been argued about for years and im a little tired of it at this point. hope you understand :'])

in case anyone wants to claim that any of the they/them cookies arent nonbinary or dont actually use they/them because "they use gendered terms in another language!!1!1!1" or smth like that. This was from a live stream chat when cream unicorn was first released into crk 👍

Some languages dont have gender neutral terms or pronouns, which is why the they/them cookies are "male" in other languages, especially for languages which are heavily gendered... but this message from crk pretty much confirms that the english neutral pronouns are completely intentional. and while i cant prove it because i only speak english ive heard people say that theyll use neutral terms in other lanuages when possible

if you want to say that this only applies to cream unicorn and none of the other cookies are absolutely confirmed to be nonbinary, youre not wrong, but you might want to do some soul searching and think about why youre so against the idea of characters being nby

"why does it matter if i misgender a fictional sentient gingerbread character?" i know it seems silly, but if you cant respect fictional nonbinary people, theres doubt that you'll respect real nonbinary people.

f/os who will do anything to get a chance to spoil you but…they're the type to pull out their credit card to swipe it when the two of you go shopping. (please ignore how it got rejected. they gotta have a card that works… somewhere.) or when they want to take you to a fancy restaurant (they forgot to make reservations but the two of you can get some fast food while you're out! that's gotta count. hopefully.). or trying to at least make you a great breakfast. it's a shame that the kitchen is now on fire. but they think the (burnt) pancakes turned out great! they have no goddamn idea of what they're doing but they are trying so hard to spoil you.
