Those Dadwing fics where Peter's, his son:
Peter: I'm 17, that's like practically an adult, and I've been a vigilante since I was like 14. I can take care of myself.
What Richard sees when looking at Peter:
My new stylus is here (RIP the old one)... time to sketch and adapt!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
okay so I've seen plenty posts about Spiderman meeting the Batfam but I am severely lacking in Spiderman meeting the rest of the DC JL content Like Seriously
Imagine him meeting Superman and talking about the responsebility one has to take on with powers such as theirs Sure they differ in a lot of ways but in the end they are still not entirely human (anymore) and have to live with that Their powers are a gift and a burden all the same
Or Spiderman and Flash Two likeable, quippy superheros who do their absolutel darndest to make the world a better place both their costumes are red and they are both pretty damn fast (of course Flash is faster but I would wager to bet that upon meeting for the first time Flash did try to blitz Peter and Peter was able to dodge because Flash didn't take him serious enough and went relatively slow) They would crimefight while putting on a comedy show and in the end they'd still show compassion to their enemies
All I'm saying is Give me some more nuance with these posts please yes the thought of Peter gaining yet another super rich father figure and some quasi siblings is sweet but there is more to all this
(this goes for other character crossovers too btw Spiderman was just the first that popped into my head)

my piece for @timdrakeflipzine
Erin what about an AU where Peter gets taken in by Gordon because of his uncanny ability to detect crime (aka his spidey sense).
wait... you're onto something here... peter WOULD find the one cop in the city that's not corrupt and they both get attached...
but now I'm just thinking about it like this:
batman (appeared on a rooftop like usual): gordon.
gordon: what?
batman: who is that.
peter: hi batman 😁
gordon: found him at a crime scene. he's my new partner
peter, stirring shit: im his better version of robin
damian!robin: EXCUSE ME?
So sun haven has been out for a while. Other people have posted about these issues (like my friend kyle and my partner meg a few times)
But heres the thing. It just came out on switch and it still doesn't have credits. It's been out of early access for over a year and playable on steam for even longer and still no credits anywhere (unless you backed the game on kickstarter yay).
And this sucks!! It sucks to have this really nasty feelings about this game. It sucks to be suspicious about WHY there arent credits. It sucks to see the developers looking to hire more and more people and I'm sitting here thinking "are these potential hires okay with never being credited for their work?"
And this isn't just about me and my work. I've mostly moved on from this. But there have been *tons* of people who worked on sun haven despite what they might try to pass off in their discord. I've spoken with a lot of people who worked on the project. Theres a lot of amazing skill that went into this game and it's just sitting there. Who made this game? Well pixel sprout studios! Who works for pixel sprout studios? Good question.
(also posted a bit about this on bluesky)
