I am trying to teach myself to animate for two reasons. One; because I desperately want to and indie animation inspires awe in me and I hope to someday contribute to that genre, two; to prove that I can. I’m making it my goal to learn to animate with nothing but willpower, a seven dollar app (RoughAnimator if u are curious, I only got it today but so far I really like it!), and a bunch of YouTube tutorials. This is my first animation ever, and I’m already aware that it’s very scuffed, so plz be nice!! I’m still learning!!

Also the walk cycle diagram thingy isn’t mine I found it on google, I couldn’t find who actually made it but credit to them whoever they are.

This is just a sort of first go at messing around with the medium ft. a Grian design I have been figuring out. He’s all bundled up in his stupid hat (/aff I love that stupid hat lol) and everything because I made it for an au, but I want to try to adapt it at some point to be my design for c!grian. I will elaborate in the future, I will elaborate so much that you will say “Ian, shut up with your elaborating” and also I have an au based on session seven planned because the superpowers happened to coincide with an overly complex magic system I’ve been developing for about five months now lol slowly in the background. Also maybe an animatic if I can figure that out maybe possibly don’t hold me to that…? At least I know no one will take the song I’m planning to use in the meantime lol because the MCR and trafficblr fandom overlap is fairly small.

also I wanted to clarify because I was doing all those drawings of Gem and Joel as photos of the way brothers being chaotic that I don’t headcannon them as siblings I headcannon them as chaotic, which isn’t actually a headcannon because it’s already canon. Also have I been spelling headcannon wrong this whole time? lol.

anyway I tried to be all fancy shmancy with the anatomy and Etho’s face was lost in the process but I like how Joel came out looking though, so trade offs ig. Also idk why those arrows are there. Technology hates me. I blame, um, whatever did that.
