I hadn’t done a Rolling Stone cover in 5 years, and hadn’t seen Brian Hiatt since I got in 2 car crashes while driving him around during our interview in 2012. 🤦‍♀️ There were no cars driven this time, but we had a lot to catch up on. Anyway, I keep picturing all these little lights playing some game in this big field of sky and all. 2000 tiny lights, and nothing around - nothing big, I mean - except me. And I'm standing on the edge of some daisy song. What I have to do, I have to match anybody if they start to go over the song, I mean if they're playing and they don't know what they're doing, I have to come out from nowear and match them. That's all I do all day. I'd just be the matcher in the sky and all. I know I'm lazy, but that's the only place I'd really like to be.
