Paul was a persecutor of the Christians. But when He met the Lord on the road to Damascus, His life turned upside down. He lived for Christ. What is the motivation behind His change? It was the love of Christ. Paul said, “Christ’s love compels us…He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again” (2 Cor. 5:14-15) Christ’s love is the greatest of all motivators. It causes those who follow Him to live for Him. We love Christ too much to walk in hate, to use coarse language or to look into inappropriate sites and so on. The love of Jesus restrains and constrains us to live in a way that pleases the Lord.
The LORD has heard my cry for mercy; the LORD accepts my prayer. Psalm 6:9I waited patiently for the LORD; He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; He set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. Psalm 40:1-2Are you tired of waiting? Maybe, nothing seems to be happening. Maybe, you feel God is not hearing your cry for help. But your cry has reached the Lord your God. He will intervene with His divine wisdom, knowledge and understanding. His answer and His guidance will be the best. He will never never fail you.
2 Timothy 1:7
May God helps us to press through the valley of shadow of death with His Spirit of Power, Love, and Self-Control. Amen.
Btw when I threw out all my video games, that same day when I went to bed I had a dream. In it I saw a great dragon and rising it looked at me with great rage! Praise God, the devil was angery because I disposed those worldly things which was keeping me from the source of all life, Jesus Christ!
The Greatest Treasure of all is to believe in Jesus Christ then you will be filled with the power of the Spirit.
