note, i might not exactly like 100% of the things said in these videos BUT they ultimately redeemed dream to a very large audience

starting with i think is the most viewed video right now, Will Dream's Response Actually Fix Anything? by Lessons in Meme Culture. it's 2:40 minutes long and the point is simply to open conversation about him being able to successfully redeem himself, but it has a lovely comment section if you want to scroll through that

Dream Just Responded To Everything by AugustTheDuck, had already spoken about Dream pretty positively, lovely guy, lovely summary [ touches earpiece the main studio is telling me august actually was a dream hater but turned around recently, so noting that down ]

Dream's Response was Perfect, But... by EntLaiser, who previously made a video actually speaking negatively of Dream, completely changed his opinion and talked about how meme culture is being used to justify mass harassment, along with being nice to Dream stans and defending them

Pyrocynical made a video. its bad. don't watch it. he gets cooked in the comments though so that's okay. Acheeto also made a video but i don't like the guy so i'm not linking that either, but it was a good video

Dream Finally Responded To The Allegations by sensitive soci3ty. i really like this video but i especially like the comments that bring up a lot of great points, it was refreshing scrolling through them

LIES! by Omni. Omni is really big on the commentary community so his input is valued, this video is long and goes through a lot of unrelated stuff because it's a news segment, but i linked to the timestamp he talks about Dream. it is long, it is thorough, he READS THE DESCRIPTION which i haven't seen anyone do, pretty good

Dream Might Actually Be Innocent by Saverino. this guy is like, the perfect representation of "i only consumed Dream content through social media for years", the most passive onlooker in the world. and his video is awesome, he took a lot of notes, he resumed Dream's video pretty well, and i feel the way he thinks of Dream is how people will look at dream from now on

Dream Finally Responded by Dolan Dark. it's a slob but it's fucking Dolan Dark and he says he believes he's innocent so who cares W for us

other creators we already know and knew they believed Dream, Hot Sauce Beats did a live reaction and so did Nate Alyn if you'd like to go and support them

Very much not my normal posting but since antisemitism is very actively rising, I feel like it's worth it:

Pinely is a Youtuber who's been doing a series on conspiracy theories and antisemitism. He's Jewish himself and his videos do a good job at exploring how people fall down antisemitic rabbit holes and how conspiracy theories relate to antisemitism (he's one of the only people ive seen who, when talking about shane dawson, specifically called out how antisemitism tied in to his shilling of conspiracy theories to kids). He's also just very funny (in my opinion) and a Jewish, non-white, non-American commentary channel, which is rare and refreshing. If you want to learn more about antisemitism, his videos might be something to check out. I rarely ever see people call out antisemitism specifically in commentary videos even when they call out racism, misogyny, etc., which makes watching someone tackle antisemitism so head on very nice.

Had Lily been man- a MALE friend Snape loved and respected so much that his grief over his death has never faded after many years as he made a promise to protect his son, everyone would be “OH that is so amazing, so honorable”

ah yes, an “underage” 20 year old who assaulted someone, was racist, ableist, anti-semitic, and a general asshole to an uber driver that he lied about tipping. dream did not film the video, dream was also 24, and nic actually requested for the video to be filmed, and only got mad bc he knew his fuckups were gonna be released after he lied that it didnt happen! he himself called dream a good human, so did the uber driver, and everybody else in the car says nic was the asshole and dream was just being nice

I hardly get into internet drama I usually just try to stay out of it but the situation with Dream and Nicolas, jokes aside, is actually so fucking crazy bro. How in the world could you take Dream’s side????? A grown adult taking a video of a 19 YEAR OLD (UNDERAGE IF U FORGOT) drunk, high, and having a manic episode, keep the video for months, and use it for your own gain. Dream deserved everything Nicolas said to him there AND MORE. He’s genuinely the scum of the fucking earth and I hope he gets what’s coming to him.

No, sir, James saved Lupin's life; and Sirius, himself and possibly Peter from being expelled as the person who got another student killed and his accomplices.

Snape surviving, too, was a consequence of James protecting his friends, and even attempted murder should have gotten everyone expelled but Remus.

E.D.I.T.H is a pair of eyewear that controls the Stark satellite network, granting the wearer access to killer drones as well as everyone's personal information (including text messages and Google searches). He opted to give it to a teenager with unrestricted access.

Can you conceive handing this much power to a seventeen-year-old in reality? It's terrible enough that "responsible" adults have access to literal drone attacks, and we witness the direct effects when Peter in Far From Home fails to halt a drone strike on a classmate. It's played for laughs, but what was Tony thinking when he created this type of power without putting a check on it? Fury, Happy Hogan, Ant-Man, literally anybody else - there has to be someone with access to a kill-switch or something of the sort to prevent something dreadful from happening, like... Peter surrendering over the system under coercion, which is quite literally the plot of Far From Home. But, even from beyond the grave, we can sense Tony's arrogance. Bringing a kid into your own mess is crazy. And it was!

Interestingly enough, we've seen comparable technology in superhero films before; The Dark Knight depicts a similar machine with less lethal powers. Using the population's mobile phones, the gadget utilises sonar to picture all of Gotham City. Batman intends to use it to track out the Joker. Lucius Fox considers it "beautiful, dangerous, and unethical" for one man to have such control. When he threatens to quit, Batman informs him that the computer can be turned off by simply typing in his name. DC succeeds where the MCU does not - by not giving children effortless murder weapons and having a kill-switch to ensure that the  civilians' safety is not compromised. 

While Far From Home depicts the dangers of it falling into the wrong hands, very little is explored in terms of the possibility of true corruption (as opposed to funny mix-ups that almost kill classmates). What about the idea that this type of technology is accessible to the "good guys"? Will Marvel eventually realise that E.D.I.T.H. is dangerous technology that should be exterminated?

I know it is hard to hear this, but we have had yet another instance where "believe victim" has been used with malice to ruin someone's life. We saw it happen to Slazo and it was a fluke. We saw it happen to Kwite with similar results. Who is next? This is why people, particularly men, are afraid of interacting with people. It's not because they have intent to harm anyone, but because they can't know if the other person has intent to ruin their life. I am immediately skeptical of ANYONE who comes forward with allegations on social media, especially people with any kind of platform. Mob justice isn't justice, and anyone who goes to Twitter before seeking actual justice is immediately flagged in my brain and I am skeptical of the claims.

I read the same post you did. Like many of you, I am a survivor of sexual assault. Reading it illicited visceral reactions in me, as it is intended to. You have to take a step back. I personally thought about the Slazo accusations, and waited. Turns out, I was right. It absolutely fucking disgusts me that someone would actively try to ruin someone's life with false accusations, and I absolutely think Orion should face retaliation for actual real life defamation. Do I think Kwite will press charges? Honestly, I don't know. I haven't seen any of his content in years and judging by his video he just wants all the shit over and to be left alone.

As far as I'm concerned, people who fabricate rape and sexual assault allegations are just as bad as actual rapists. Abuse comes in many, many forms and it seems many of you forget what abusers will do to their victims. We literally witnessed the flip side first hand with Creepshow Art.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Far, far too many of you went for the hat trick, including some of my close friends.

Blindly believing victims only hurts real victims. Starting a mob will destroy evidence (deleting texts, editing messages, etc) and after a few times of this people will stop believing actual victims. Have you ever heard of the boy who cried wolf?
