i did words

how do words

Threaten your imagination into compliance and slap them hands onto your keyboard, or get ready to stab paper repeatedly with the pointy ink stick.

Scream angrily into the void for at least thirty minutes.

Wait for void to scream back.

Write down whatever returns, trapping those motherfuckers on your page. Spend at least an hour deciphering and beating them with a stick until they fall somewhat in line, then bask in the fact that you now have words on a page, which is considerably more than you had before.

Results may vary, but there’s always tomorrow.

the thing all sherlock holmes adaptations get wrong is making the guy an irredeemable asshole who treats everyone like shit . not only is it not reflective of the original stories they miss that “nice, smart, well mannered dude who snorts coke when he needs to think” is possibly the funniest character ever devised

Norse Gods (And Other Deities) List

Having seen various incorrect, incomplete and inaccurate lists of Norse gods circulating Tumblr, I have decided to write my own and also include common terminology alongside. I will also include other beings who exist within the old lore and modern traditions.

I have opted to include the names in Norwegian, with translations in parenthesise after, along with a brief summary of some of the associations given to some of those gods.
