maybe geminis hate astrology bc they’re so intellectual and have a great sense of self that if astrologers pinpoint one (1) accurate trait of a gemini, they’ll fire back with a different trait from their vast artillery of knowledge and say astrologers are wrong because they’re a gemini “but they act like this, not this. haha, you’re wrong. you can’t label me!”

but this is based on a lot of geminis in my life and the most important gemini even told me she’s taking classes on astrology bc shes supposed to learn about something she doesn’t typically believe in. i love her bc she doesn’t give me shit about liking astrology to my face but she definitely does not believe in it. geminis have a true sense of self and they hate labels huh.

The $50,000 Dollar Bennett Prize for Female Artists.

Call for entries are now open until September 28th, 2018 for the first-of-its-kind $50,000 prize to propel the careers of women artists.

Endowed by art collectors Steven Alan Bennett and Dr. Elaine Melotti Schmidt at The Pittsburgh Foundation, The Bennett Prize aims to spotlight women artists who are, or seek to become, full-time painters, but have not yet reached full professional recognition.

The winner of The Bennett Prize will create her own solo exhibition of figurative realist paintings, which will first be shown at the Muskegon (Michigan) Museum of Art and then travel the country. 

The Prize is also designed to create opportunities for the public to learn more about the creative vision of talented women painters in the increasingly popular style of figurative realism.
