It just kinda sunk in that separation arc happens right after the Mogami incident. Do you think Reigen’s words landed twice as hard because of that? “Your friends aren’t really your friends, they’re just having fun mocking someone as wimpy as you.” I can see that being a very sore spot for Mob after the six months of bullying and torment he endured. Mob’s having fun with his friends after being alone and in pain for so long and now Reigen’s suggesting that it’s all a lie and that Mogami’s words are actually real, albeit completely unintentionally. Because Mob got very serious in that moment. He should have and had every right to, but you can tell he double-meant it because he purposefully missed Reigen’s birthday.
I was thinking about how Bradley would know how much Roy cares about all of his subordinates. Than I remember the time right after Roy burned Lust to death. You can say that Bradley saw everything, including how Riza was still crying even after the end of the battle and how Roy cared about her and Havoc more then for himself. And I believe that's one of the reasons why Bradley took Riza as a hostage and his assistant. He just already saw their feelings for each other. What you think about it?
oh, aaaabsolutely! that was the first time we saw bradley really paying attention to roy
and bradley being the one to witness this scene is so monumentally important. he was supposed to kill roy/riza/al but after witnessing roy’s Intensely Awesome murder of his sister, bradley lets em go and then uses his newfound knowledge of roy’s pathetic love for his friends against him. its beautiful.
i wonder if bradley watched roy struggle his way over to where lust was. like just grab some popcorn and watch roy burn himself and limp around the corridors
tried making a finished version of this pic since i currently cant find it online.
was fun for practice! until i had to draw all the grass

I’m way more upset with Teru about this text message he wrote than I am about him choking out Mob.
I’m so sorry to inform those who don’t know that Teru’s response to this is: “I’m waiting like a good boy.”
He also makes a pun with his name and 「待ってる」 (matteru) by writing 「待っ⭐️テル⭐️」 (mat⭐️TERU⭐️)
I’ve seen comments elsewhere complaining about Reigen yet again lying to Mob and regressing but I really didnt see this scene that way.
a) Reigen didn’t pull a “I am your master and my powers tell me they’re fine”. He said he thought they were safe and told Mob a legitimate reason to assume so. The only ‘lie’ would be his utter calm and certainty as he said it, since he isn’t sure. But he had to act like that so Mob could calm down in turn. But ultimately, he didn’t lie or trick Mob into it, he made no certain statement and gave him an explanation;
b) Despite the fact that he didnt lie, if his supposition turns out wrong, Mob is likely not going to react well anyway. Reigen knows this. He said to Dimple Mob might hate him forever, and that’s something Reigen is also risking. Considering the face he made after Mob passed out, his gamble wasn’t to make his own life easier by not dealing with angry Mob, but a gamble for Mob’s sake. And he knows what he’s risking for it.

out of the 90 or so panels that ONE devotes to the mental fight between shigeo and mob in mob psycho 100's confession arc -- from mob's conscious awareness of shigeo's presence to shigeo's eventual dissolution and assimilation of mob -- just seven show us that the child can actually be heard arguing with himself from the outside.
since the anime concluded its run last year, i've had those panels on my mind. studio bones only animated the largest one and relegated shigeo's speech on it to internal dialogue (much more on that decision here). they're so compelling that i decided to redraw them in my own style.
this is the seventh and last of them. it occurs just before shigeo smacks reigen in the head with a chunk of fallen city in hopes of scaring him off (it doesn't work).
its text reads:
[image ID: amidst swirling teal winds, hair wild and eyes aglow, a teenaged japanese boy wearing a gakuran and an eerily neutral expression muses 'tanin ga boku wo kainarasu koto wa dekinai. mobu no hontou no sugata wo shireba ano hito wa boku wo kaihou suru yo.' storm clouds are gathering around his eyes as he speaks, partially obscuring his face.]
