I wonder if I should watch Winx Club season 8. Like I've heard some bad things about it and just looking at it makes me feel like it isn't Winx Club, but I've heard some good things about it too.

Honestly, I hate the fact that Mida will be matchmade with a student. It's just creepy. The fact that YanDev confirmed it too makes it worse.

Like, it's pedophilia. And even if the student is 18, student-teacher relationships are unethical and illegal in some countries (like Japan).

And to those who say, "B-but, Mida will date the student after she stops working Akademi!" That's still creepy! Waiting until you no longer work at a school just to date one of your former students is just like waiting for someone to be 18 just to date them when you're already a full grown adult.
