The fact that all of the foreign Captive Prince editions have literally the prettiest covers and we’re stuck with this basic shit annoys me to no end
English:
Japanese: (they have ILLUSTRATIONS. Do you understand???😭😭😭 gonna go learn Japanese)
Taiwanese:
Polish: I—This is everything. Like, everything.
(The first cover is literally one of the best arts of Capri I’ve ever seen)
Dear Berkley books,
This is a crime, one i will not stand for. So,
TAKE MY FUCKING MONEY AND GIVE ME CAPTIVE PRINCE, ILLUSTRATED, WITH THESE COVERS
*pats your back* it's OK, sis, it's OK. We'll just change our phone wallpapers to pretty skies, change the layout and then we'll gently purge our phones outside the windows and start using it for less than 2 hours a day, we'll also eat more fruits and soups, touch the wall, then the floor, the carpet and the door and before we know it, we'll reach the grass and plants waiting for us all this time, and then we'll look at the sky, look at it some more and fall asleep, we'll then take a nice refreshing bath, wash our hair and sit on our desk, smile and then take our books to sit on the floor, and sis, that's when magic happens because you don't need more, you need less. You don't need plans, you need space, to be, content without those mfs.
that image that goes i want to do this. do it. but im scared. do it scared. changed my life
reblog to give the person you reblogged this from a fucking break
~✧°+* 6/100 days of doing better*+°✧~
04.08.2023
A very uneventful day. I had a slow morning and around noon I was hit by a panic attack out of nowhere. It took me quite a while to calm down from it and after I decided to take it slow instead of trying to force productivity.
Taking a day off or taking a break is still productive if it helps you stay functional in the long run!
Other than that I wrote like half a poem and went on a very long walk at night.
Positive things I did today:
kept the duolingo Spanish streak going
went for a walk
attended a meeting for a tutoring job
Hours slept: ~8hrs Screentime: 6hrs Steps taken: ~7.700
an incomplete list of unsettling short stories I read in textbooks
the scarlet ibis
marigolds
the diamond necklace
the monkey’s paw
the open boat
the lady and the tiger
the minister’s black veil
an occurrence at owl creek bridge
a rose for emily
(I found that one by googling “short story corpse in the house,” first result)
the cask of amontillado
the yellow wallpaper
the most dangerous game
a good man is hard to find
some are well-known, some obscure, some I enjoy as an adult, all made me uncomfortable between the ages of 11-15
add your own weird shit, I wanna be literary and disturbed
They never want to stop
child of the moon
