Always remember with comics: STORYBOARDS AREN’T SUPPOSED TO BE PRETTY. THEY JUST NEED TO FLOW! Spend time on the final art, not the sketches!! Here’s the full comic called “生き甲斐” (ikigai) I made for my senior project in high school art class. You can view it in 300 DPI high res. by clicking the link in my bio! For anyone who hasn’t read it yet, I released a pencilled 25 page chapter of my graphic novel I’ve been drafting for a couple years now. (Reads left to right like American comics). Chapters 1 (25 pages) and chapter 2 (19 pages) is uploaded to my Pixiv (link in my bio). It’s moving slowly as I’m working on multiple creative endeavors and battling my health issues, but it’s still very legible and imo as pretty as finalized art in this rough pencilled format.
