So I’ve sort of incidentally ended up making an album. Mot of the bulk of this (compositionally) has been completed for a while, but messing with levels and such for a while. I’m no professional so this is pretty lo-fi; made from my bedroom out of chance, but it’d be cool if some of you guys would check it out. There’s some love put into this for sure! Ah, and also: the last track happened totally incidentally; it isn’t masterpiece or something necessarily extraordinary or better than the others, but I had been contemplating “what’s missing… what’s missing…” for a while now, scrapping other songs and even thinking I wasn’t going to put out an album entirely because something just felt off. My buddy Mat and I were messing around at guitar center and as usually, I obsessively recorded the few bars of piano he played with me lightly playing rhythm guitar under. I think it’s one of those songs that isn’t the best on the album, but sort of makes the album, if that makes sense. Anyhow, thank you for the support always and I’m more than grateful if you even take a look at one of these songs!

On a real note: I look at my manga and genuinely see that I draw and compose shots well. I used to be so insecure and beat up over dickhead Toshio Maeda telling me I’ll never be a pro for being weak/sick, but it’s nice being able to look at my art and be like “This is fucking AMAZING I CAN’T BELIEVE I MADE THIS??”
As days go by, I can see my hard work objectively rather than clouded by my views of my art. I’m actually super good at making manga ESPECIALLY considering I was crying and writhing in such bad, constant physical CPPS pain while drawing ALL of these. I would literally fall out of my chair and just scream on the floor, holding my pen with ink rolling down my fucking hand. It’s some shonen manga type perseverance sort of shit. No one has ever seen my art when I’m healthy because I’ve been sick for so long now. But man, I can’t wait until I’m healthy and my art just darts up insanely in quality. Anyhow, thanks for all the support. I can’t say something to really express my gratitude, but I know I exist on this planet to make people feel something through ink and panels. Times change; technology changes, desires change, but the necessity to create does not. Thank you for standing by my during this journey 🌱

Changes coming leading into 2019;
I’ve established that _Jammo_ as a name is something my friend and I want to cultivate into an apparel brand and self-publisher featuring my manga, catalogs, zines, stationary, etc.
I’m at inches away from giving up at times, but last night I had the worst pain ever in my for years of my illness and sort of just got out of the shower and sat down at my computer and bought the domain name Shop-Jammo.com. Jonathan and I spent hours on the website and it’s absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait to share it with you. It hosts an archive, a live Instagram feed, a store, collections archive (lookbook), a blog, and hopefully an online reader to preview all of our print material when we get beyond our first self-published manga short story and re-prints of my “Welcome Back” zine a lot of you liked.
For real though, all of my money is in this. I’m literally going all in, and I want to say I love you guys for not giving up on me and supporting me as a person and hopefully _Jammo_ as a brand in the short and long-term. I don’t have anything too kind to say regarding the comments on my last post because it isn’t the sort of post I made for attention necessarily. I’m just thankful and feel love for and from you all (￣O￣;)🌱 And also, I promise to do the contest results soon. If I’m honest, I just cannot decide between a couple and I had to prioritize this website to be up-to-speed with my own progress. I promise the wait is worth-while!! My body is in so much pain. I don’t want to anymore. What do I do. The only reason I haven’t killed myself is because I pray my body will get better but it’s just so painful. I want anyone who cares about me or whatever to sort of just deal with it if I die. I have a treatment planned for late November. I hope it is successful, but I told myself I refuse to enter 2019 feeling this way. So no matter how successful my clothing or comics become, my happiness is my priority. I can’t keep feeling like a slave to my body. I just don’t want to anymore. I can’t think of type properly ‘cause I’m high as shit and falling in and out of sleep. I gotta design my banner for AnimeNYC though. Gotta get up :) lol I don’t even want to go go NYC anymore. My birthday is in a few days and I’m too sick to even enjoy some sake or any alcohol to celebrate 21. Life is pure shit right now. I made $600 in the first 3 days selling my art and lol I just don’t feel better. People, really, there’s something so wrong with my body. It hurts so much.
