Art is fun. You don't have to like my art. My art doesn't need to be considered great. I'm not hurting anyone with my art and it makes me feel good so to me.. it's just fine. I don't NEED to get better at it. I don't NEED to do it a certain way. I simply need to enjoy it, and in my mind.. not cause any damage to anyone else. It took me a long time to allow myself that freedom and now that I understand it, I refuse to go back to trying to fit someone else's box. Enjoy art... your own way.
Humans make no sense to me. They destroy everything, including each other and seem to think it's okay. It's like people believe life isn't supposed to be annoying so when it is, they find ways to get a "feel good" no matter who, or what, it hurts. It creates chaos that doesn't need to exist, which ends up being more fuel for people to behave poorly in search of that "feel good". The trail of damage left behind is disgusting and yet, it's like nobody actually understands that, or cares. It really does seem to be all about easy "feel good" even when that only adds to the problems. meh Maybe I'm just missing something but then again, I did label this "strugglingasahuman" so... clearly there is a LOT I "miss". hahaha
I am beginning to realize that I appreciate those who value true craftsmanship. Modern life is full of products and services but the true art of creating something, or doing something with a genuine passion is usually lost behind the desire for profit and ease. Items, relationships, general interactions... the true attention to detail, effort for quality, and non profit desire to build something that will serve the receiver well is so hard to find. For me, it's not so much about the prize, but rather the process of creating that prize. Whether it's a friendship, a deeper relationship, a product, a service of some sort, it should be more about what you are creating than how easily you can make a certain profit. Shallow human connections and poorly made products have definitely helped me see the real value in craftsmanship, and those who truly seek it. hah Well there's this round of food for thought. Laters!
Okay so, as I pay more attention I realize that humans seem to like seeing their food online. While I'm not entirely sure how many enjoy viewing the food of others I figured I would go ahead and play along so... here ya go. The current meal includes eggs, potato, tomato, carrot, celery, and a sausage, with a light dusting of a salt/pepper/garlic seasoning blend, cooked with a little bit of palm oil in a frying pan. Ooooh. Aaaaah. Yes, it was very much tasty. Yes, this is a common cooking style for me. And no, I will not be sad if I don't get paycheck level likes on my food photo. Okay, I'm done. Enjoy.
Seriously... this is just SUPER COOL! Bravo gentlemen. Bravo indeed. hahaha
Pulled in to the parking garage.... giggled when I saw the creeper van. Pulled up next to it then decided nope, I'm parking directly across from it. Once I did, I had to admit... I wasn't sure if I should fear the driver, or pet the van. hahahaha Kinda cute for a creeper van. hahaha .... To be clear.. no scary driver appeared and no, I did not pet the van. lol
I found this on WordPress after I got told to look it up. Why did I get told to look it up? Well, because that is similar to the process I went through as I geared up to attack the danger plants in my yard today, in the VERY hot sun, with a light breeze, and currently fighting a cold. LOL .... I ended up with sun protection, dust protection, eye protection, arm protection, boots, gloves, and laughter. hahaha I will say this though.... I WON. Danger plants dealt with and NO RASH! I am satisfied!
This... is part of why I get so uncomfortable sometimes. I have always tried, painfully so, to be a positive person. But, I am finding it harder and harder with time to be... positive. Why? The poor behavior that can be found close, out and about, and pretty much EVERYWHERE online, that's why. I mean seriously, the fact that signs like this are even needed is a display of the kind of behavior that makes it hard some days to brush it off and smile. I know it has become the norm to allow your electronics to think for you but dang folks... seriously? From where I'm sitting, we're all doomed but, I still do try... to be a positive person and at least not abundantly feed the ugly, nasty, YUCK that seems to be EVERYWHERE at this point. -sigh-- Okay, I'm done now.
Okay, here is where I will post a question. Does anyone use MapMyFitness? I don't do the big challenges they offer as I'm not exactly in ... the condition.. to participate effectively but, I do enjoy tracking the miles of my walks, hikes, and stuff like bicycle rides. I just think it would be neat to have someone there again to share with. It can be a fun little motivational boost as well. Meh... the question is here. Maybe someday it will prove useful. hahaha
Well, I did not realize a day had been created to celebrate the sturdy donkey but... now that I am aware of it, I MUST say.....
- - - HAPPY WORLD DONKEY DAY!!!
I'm not one that agrees with creating a day for everything so that humans will acknowledge the ... contribution... that people, places, creatures, or things have in what humans call progress BUT... if that is something that is needed... I will GLADLY support the recognition of the hard work animals do as slaves to the ... humans.
A bit older, more "tired", definitely more worn, but still trying.
