Lately on my dash, I have been seeing lots of wonderful mutuals get too hard on their beautiful minds.
Lovelies, your stories and art are beautiful because they are from you, and FOR you. Stats do not determine the quality of a product. Again, some of the BEST stories on the archive I have ever read were around 100 hits, and 0-10 kudos. Some of the BEST ART I’ve seen has 0 notes.
You know how I can tell? Because the authors and artists poured their heart and soul into their craft. As long as it can inspire ONE person, you should be proud. You just radically changed the life and perspective of ONE person. That’s amazing.
Sure, you might think your art or story is “cringe” or “bad”…OR, it can be someone’s comfort piece that they go back to after a long day. You may see your stats and think, “man, nobody enjoys this,” not knowing that maybe, juuuust maybe, you have that ONE person who you’ve inspired, who loves your work, and lurks your socials awaiting for your next project. Your art, your music, YOUR story has the potential to do that, but you have to love what YOU do.
And yes, your love WILL show. Maybe not with stats, or kudos, or notes, or comments. But you may be someone’s favorite without even knowing. As long as your art is out there, it WILL reach somebody. I will try to be that somebody for a lot of you, but there is indeed A LOT of you.
In a world where media is being “consumed” for “content,” remember that ART comes from the heART (sorry not sorry for being cheesy). Artists, Writers, Poets, Musicians, Sculptors, HUMANS: Get your hearts out there for the world to see. The world needs more motivated minds. 💫
I have my last final tomorrow and I’m so thankful because I need to finally start playing the games in my backlog. It’s actually so bad. Here’s the situation I’ve gotten myself into over the past 6 months:
I’m currently playing PMD EOS. I’m at chapter 19, and I intend to play through the postgame and special episodes still.
And here’s my current backlog:
Persona 3 Reload
Persona 4 Golden
Hades II
Baldur’s Gate III
Deadcells
Moonstone Island
Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (when it releases on Switch)
And on top of all of this I will need to be playing Mario Kart regularly for my team. I’ve dug myself into a hole that seems almost impossible to get out of, and if I can even get through half of these this summer I’ll be happy.
Nia, noticing Tobias is once again sad/upset: "need a hug?"
Tobias, desperately touch starved and very much wanting a hug, still trying to keep up his non-existent reputation: *blushing* "What? No, disgusting,"
Pretty much. 😂
Charizard is probably the most straightforward to play, I don’t have that license but as one of the launch allarounders they shouldn’t be very difficult to play. Mostly melee with some slight range on moves and able to take a bit of damage.
Talonflame isn’t too bad either, but it they’re much more frail and focus on quickly coming in and killing as opposed to prolonged battles. They also have better movement abilities to do that. So if that play style sounds more fun then go for them
Decidueye is cool but probably not the best option for starting. They don’t get their strong moves until a high level, so they’re harder to play in the early game. I believe they’re also a bit more technical than zard and talonflame
Time sensitive question: What Unite License should I get as a first-time Pokemon Unite player who's amazingly bad at competitive games
Options are Decidueye, Charizard, and Talonflame

I like the idea of Guilds having Therapy Dogs. Exploring, rescuing, going on expeditions, it's tough work, and it can be pretty scary.
So, you come home after a long day, walk into the guild, and there's Misdreavus! Just floating around, being adorable, eating fear, as they do. So, you go have a chat, and your fears just drift away, as if they weren't even there.
Sure, you have the memories, but you can think about them with a clear head now. You see what you could've done differently and suddenly tomorrow doesn't seem so scary.
Lots of Pokemon resent ghost types for their ability to interact with the intangible. Certain species can consume emotions, or make them stronger. So, the Guild has a few ghost types on hand. They help ease the stress and fear of the job. Where ghosts are normally scorned, the guild is a safe place for them, and they're so eager to give back to the people who make this place home.
