i personally think horace was a simp and red gown lady seduced him. change my mind.

Call me weak, call me pathetic, call me a simp because it's all true but I immediately forgave Cardan for everything the moment he said this.
I'm simple woman, he immediately recognises the love of his life even when she's managed to fool everyone while pretending to be her identical twin and I am folded.
my goal in life is to only get emails from ao3
thinking about this from the aa wiki again
I really love Ao3 because even though I've barely posted anything in the past two years, I still get the "you've got kudos" email multiple times a week. And while I know that sometimes that is due to someone recommending my fic somewhere (not all heroes wear capes), it's also because Ao3 makes it so damn easy to find fic. I still get the occasional kudos on fics I finished eight years ago because people not only have the ability to look for what they want, they have to. I just know that if Ao3 had an algorithm, there would be way less people finding my fics. An algorithm site culture would result in a large chunk of people not looking past the trending fics and names. People would miss out on finding a lot of good fics. And while I can understand people wanting a "suggested for you" option, Ao3's filterable tags (both to include and to exclude) are way better than any algorithm they could come up with.
