anyone else wish we got to see montana pull out some crazy lasso skills like in the original comics or
phantom of the opera posting but make it 1925...... gonna start throwing stuff at the metaphorical wall and see what sticks!!
HERE THEY ARE!! THEM!! THE PEOPLE!!! The diptych I finished last month!!! Oil on canvas panel :)
The photo is not very good and I still need to wash and iron it, but I couldn't wait to show my first ever big cross stitch project;
Love how it turned out, especially with the green embroidery thread (cotton thread on linen)
I've been practicing backgrounds over the last week, and this was originally a study of a photo I took in Maine last year. I looove the beach and water is so hard to paint lol but I'm getting better. I read the Emily Windsnap books a lot when I was younger.... I love them so much and I still read them EVERY time I go to the beach, they perfectly describe the feeling of the ocean and what it's like to go to the beach. The illustrations are just UGH THEY'RE SO GOOD and I want to EAT them. Also I wanted to be a mermaid really bad when I was a kid lmao. So yeah! I was orignally going to stick a random mermaid in here but I thought what the heck. emily :)
I’m trying to figure out what kind of Scarecrow I like to draw more.
I can say that I’m rather fond of this more classic version ahahah
I made this drawing last September I think?? in a mad frenzy after I saw the trailer for Caped Crusader, and even though I'm not the biggest fan of the colors I still liked Harley's design and her involvement in the series :)
I think fear of being perceived is such a mental roadblock to posting art because whenever I do all I can think of is like. nothing but crickets. eep eep. It's like I'm getting up on a podium in front of a really big silent crowd and I'm SWEATING like you would not BELIEVE. It would be so much easier to just Not post it and be able to sleep at night. But then. well. It will never be seen. shower thoughts for y'all :)
Grabs your shocker art in my mouth and shakes it around, I’m #normal about it. Eating your artstyle btw
HEY!!!! STOP CHEWING ON THAT MAN HES MY MUSE
Hey we're all #normal about him. He's actually really fun to draw lol
YAYY HE DIDNT DIE IN BATTLE!! HE CAME BACK!!!
A couple of years ago I had the experience of watching When Knighthood Was In Flower (1922) in theaters and soon after I came down with a serious disease of I Love 1920s Medieval Fantasy Stuff, of which I have never recovered. I have no idea what the story is behind these people but they've been around since then, I painted them last month for a school project.
@another-art-studentt you're the only one who kind of knows who they are lol
she/her ⟡ 21 ⟡ artist, always sfw!! currently stuck in a spider-man phase :/
