I Would Have Completely Forgot About My Cringey IZ Art Tumblr Account If It Weren’t For Being Slapped

I like to think that Zim would eventually add eyebrows to his disguise but he’d start off by thickly applying sharpie to his face. I just wanted to quickly draw this idea

I was at the beach earlier today and I tried so hard not to give that sand a little crunchity munchity, I succeeded... for now.

My original plan was to draw Zim in platform boots because I thought it would look cool but when I was searching for a reference I found those and they reminded me of those weird plastic shoes you’d find in the toy aisle at the dollar tree and I decided that that’s what I was going to draw this morning

I’d like to present to you:

Axolotl Zim

I’d like to imagine that the way axolotl Zim and Dib met was that Dib found Zim and was like “that’s unusual” and picked him up and took him home to study him and find out what he is. But it’s just tough for Zim because not only is he kinda stupid just like he normally is, he’s also small and Dib doesn’t take him as a serious threat so he’s just having a rough time trying to take over the world.

Am I having trouble creating a digital style that I like? Absolutely

Am I using the style that I used in 6th grade to see if I vibe with it? Absolutely

Do I vibe? Perhaps

Bruh, I just want to get a pen thingy for my phone, drawing on my phone with my finger is a real pain sometimes >:(

I was flipping through a sketchbook earlier and I think it’s sort of funny how he just stares. He looks like he got into an argument and never expected the other kid to punch him. He’s questioning his decisions.

I always have the urge to get up and clean my room, but whenever I start cleaning I don’t want to do it anymore

And that’s on being lazy

You can interpret this as either ZaDf or ZaDr, I don’t care, all I wanted to do was draw them hugging :)

I really wish it was summer already so I drew Zim in normal human clothes that normal humans would wear in their normal summer times.
