Happy Dead Thatcher Day
I’m saying it. He’s being a piece of shit. An absolute piece of shit. Unless it’s his plan, it’s unforgivable? Seriously, fuck that mentality. And right now, you deserve Castiel leaving.
I am so glad that we’ve managed to learn absolutely nothing from this whole experience, guys. Stay classy, England.
U ever b like “it is what it is” but deep in ur heart wish shit would b different
Extremely frustrating as Palestinians watching the world stand in solidarity with The Ukraine and suddenly knowing how to use the word occupation.
dropping this here
and this one too. they let refugees fleeing a different war freeze to death in the middle of winter while the world turned a blind eye at the frozen corpses of children who were denied asylum and died because of it. this was happening as of two months ago as well, it’s not old news
i stand with ukraine, obviously.
i also stand with those who are calling out the blatant hypocrisy in how others in the same situation were treated, as well as those who are rightfully upset in the world’s support of and reaction to of one group of people but not others who have faced the same and much worse.
and before anyone jumps on this with ‘omg not appropriate right now’ or ‘stop comparing the two’, it’s entirely possible to stand with ukraine and the russians who are protesting the russian govt, while at the same time acknowledging that the world’s eurocentric response to this situation is extremely different to the response it gives other countries in places the western world declares are “backward”, and “uncivilized”
This could be my last report from Gaza by Tareq S. Hajjaj. Please read.

one thing you can start doing from today is extending grace to palestinians you know, speaking up for pro-palestine allies, challenging the repression and islamophobia we are seeing because the information blackout is not incidental. it is central to israeli and american strategy. they are killing palestinians in the dark, but they are also preventing you from humanizing, empathizing and crying for the palestinian lives lost. it is incumbent upon you, as a bystander, to put aside any kind of discomfort you feel and talk about the genocide, center palestinian voices, center palestinian suffering, make it normal and expected for people to condemn the zionist state in daily life instead of being fired, doxxed, jailed or murdered for it. its minimal effort but maximum impact. speak up. speak up. if they're forcing us to watch a genocide, then we'll force them to acknowledge it
