DM throws us into the feywild while on our journey to find a rampaging necromancer after stumbling upon a strange tree that twisted into a portal.
While going through the trees, we find a gateway that leads to a road that we need to go down to continue.
A fey man stops us and tells us one of us needs to make a deal with him to continue on. The deal being that we need to give him our firstborn child in exchange for passage. (A classic really. Adds character development to a player's character.)
The rest of the group chatters amongst themselves as I, the Aasimar cleric, stay silent and look down at the token for the fey man. Smoking hot. I know what I have to do...
Fighter: Alright, so who should make the deal?
Monk: Perhaps me? I never planned on having children.
Rogue: Yeah, but what if you do laterโ
Me: I'll do it.
Fighter: Whaโ
Fey: Are you sure... bird?
Me: Quite sure. I only have one question to ask you, Mr. Fey... *Leans closer towards the fey man, who in reality is just the DM* Do you prefer your eggs fried, scrambled, or... fertilized~?
The table is alive with quiet murmurs of noise. The paladin is making incomprehensible noises of disappointment. The fighter is astonished. The wizard keeps looking between me and the DM as I stayed leaned over the table towards the DM.
However... A smirk comes onto the DM's face as he turns the tables on me.
Fey: Careful what you wish for, birdie... I always take them fertilized.
The table now erupts. The bard is laughing his ass off. The rogue is making loud, "ooooohhhhh!!!" sounds as she watches this all go down. The monk is silently resigned as he stares off into space. I'm sitting there, wide-eyed in shock (and probably beet red) as I was not expecting him to flirt back in character since I was so used to just flirting and teasing and could not handle it being thrown back at me.
Lesson learned. You fuck around, you find out. Especially when it's with the DM.
My grandma talking to my mom and asking her if she's in the middle of writing anymore books after publishing one: "Well, do you have anymore stories you're writing? I mean, you just completed one, you probably have others you're working on..."
My mother: "Mom, I just finished a book, I don't have another one just lined up! How many books can one person be writing at once anyway?"
Me, quietly sitting in my antisocial corner literally in the middle of writing a Godwyn x Reader oneshot smutfic with stacks of other WIP fics in my Google docs: *Overhearing their conversation* "..You'd be surprised..."
(Spoilers for Penacony Quest Below!)
I feel like people are not talking enough about how Sunday literally almost ascended in his boss fight, as far as I can tell, anyway.
Like, he was the 'Embryo of Philosophy.' He was in the middle of turning into an Aeon following the path of Philosophy and ascending to take the place of Order instead of reviving Ena without his knowledge.
I think it is really sad when you think about how Sunday fully believed he was doing the right thing and tried to revive Ena, only to be tricked into unknowingly starting to ascend into Aeonhood.
I could ramble on and on about how sad of a character Sunday is and all that, but I have to stay on topic for now.
Anyway, back to his ascension.
So, I do want to point out something I noticed during his boss fight that I found rather... interesting.
During his third phase, we all know about his big attack that practically nukes your team, right?
Well, during that attack, we see a hand coming down and reaching towards Sunday, to which he reaches back and they touch fingers, causing the attack to happen.
The attack and scene in question.
Now, most people tend to assume that this is Ena, and I do as well. At least, I did think it was Ena until I stared at the screen a bit too hard and went, "Wait a damn minuteโ"
Dearest gentlereader, care to take a little looksie at Ena for me?
Ena, the Order.
Do you see that? Their hands?
That's right! Ena's hands don't match the hands during Sunday's boss fight at all.
So, I am going to tell you that this is not Ena and not Xipe either, because that wouldn't make sense at all. Even then, Xipe's hands are a deep blue, so that wouldn't match either.
Now, I know during that move, Sunday speaks as if he is talking to Ena, yes. However! If Sunday is truly oblivious to the fact he is ascending and is under the full belief that he is reviving Ena, he probably also does not realize that who he is talking to. IS. NOT. ENA.
So, who is it? Who is this this mysterious hand coming from the heavens? Well, what if I say it is the Aeons version of Sunday's hand?
Alright, don't scroll or click off, just hear me out!
The hand shares certain similarities to both Ena and Xipe. (The white part with the gold design being reminiscent of Ena. The thumb also shares a bit of Xipes color scheme, albeit with a bit of a stretch.)
You can also see during the scene that there are angel feathers coming down from where the hand comes from, something neither of the other Aeons possess. But you know who has feathers and wings? The handsomest man in Penacony, that's who!
During the build-up to the move, the subtitles were repeating the words from his diary, if I am correct, (which might has well just been a Bible at that point) until you get to the hand scene, as if slowly bridging the gap between his mortal body and his soon-to-be Aeon form.
Am I crazy? Am I right? I have no clue!
I might be totally off the mark with this, but I'm posting this anyway.
Bye ya'll, hope I didn't completely waste your time!

(Spoilers for the Entirety of Bungou Stray Dogs)
So... with Chapter 118 in bsd releasing, I have noticed a lot of Fyodor as Atsushi's father related things popping up and... I'm not mad about.
If anything, I'm happy the theory is getting more attention. People even seem to be taking it as canon fact, even if just jokingly.
Really, I believed the theory was plausible since it first was brought up in the fandom, but I never actually thought it would be canon because that just seemed too crazy. But those were the thoughts of a sweet summer child since the manga has gotten to the point where that might be the least crazy thing possible.
So, here I am at my keyboard yet again, ready to ramble about how, if this does somehow turn out to be canon, this might be actually rather predictable even to those who don't dive deep into the nitty-gritty lore.
Now, I won't ramble on and on endlessly about the book and Atsushi's ambiguous past and how he may be the book or a page from the book and yaddy-yadda. Instead, I'll focus on some key aspects of Atsushi's character design. First off...
His hair.
As I said, this is not all that serious or deep, so take my words with a grain of salt before you start bashing me or something for being ridiculous. You signed up for ridiculous when you started reading past the title.
Anyway, back to Atsushi's hair.
As we almost all know, Atsushi used to have a black streak in his hair that was later removed for unknown reasons, but he also has white hair.
Now, I could jokingly proclaim, "Hehe, biologically impossible Fyodor x Nikolai lovechild," and be done with it, but I am no clown, unlike Nikolai. No, I have a better, probably completely wrong, idea.
Most of us know that Fyodor has a thing for white-haired men.
Exhibit A: Every fucking member of the Decay of Angels
I rest my case.
Also, I feel the need to mention that 3 out of 6 of them have red-ish eyes while the other two have purple-ish/blue eyes. Just pointing out that little tidbit I noticed while finding pics for them.
So, it would make sense for Fyodor to pick and choose which attributes to give to his quote-on-quote "son" when he made him from the book, picking out certain traits he found appealing and pleasing to the eye.
(Also, yes, this could mean that Fyodor could have chose specific attributes that were similar to Nikolai. Boom, lovechild route.)
This could explain certain similarities between the characters who seemingly have no biological connection between one another. Their only connection then only being through Fyodor by just knowing him.
Got all that? Alright, next up...
His eyes.
Now, Atsushi's eyes are rather unique, even for the world of Bungou Stray Dogs. What also sticks out about them is the fact that they are pointed out and focused in from time to time.
Example:
(Fucking gorgeous eyes he has, btw)
To break down the colors of his eyes... While in normal lighting in the anime, they appear to be normally purple and yellow with just a hint of green in it, but under the full moon (as seen here) we can see that his eyes are a light green-yellow at the bottom and purple on the top that fades into blue.
(There are also a few times where his eyes also change while using his ability. Like when they turn almost fully yellow.)
I want to point out the colors of his eyes and the fact that they change due to certain circumstances (i.e: using his ability, being under the full moon), which is clearly not normal in their world seeing as how other ability users don't seem to do that at all.
(Edit here: I actually would like to mention that, in the manga, Nikolai's eyes also change color. The green one sometimes will change to match his normal eye whenever he uncovers it. I saw a theory talking about how it might change depending on whether or not he is lying at the time, which is pretty neat. More Atsushi and Nikolai parallels.)
Now, this might seem like a bit of a stretch just like the rest of this post, but the colors used for his eyes are similar to the eye colors of people Fyodor knows, though they are different shades.
Purple like Fukuchi. Green and blue from Nikolai.
Fyodor's eyes are also a shade of purple, kind of, so... Yeah, that works too, but Fukuchi's shade of eyes are closer to Atsushi's.
Yeah, that's all I can think of now and this is already way too long (if I start talking about Atsushi's mysterious past, I'm going to make this a mile long. Maybe later tho), so I'm ending it here for now.
Alright, bye ya'll.
I just know she likes Rennala. She comes over to the academy to visit on Wednesdays for teatime and just talk for hours. This also made the Ranni situation rather weird as well because she's friends with Ranni's mom and literally sees her as a child.
Ranni: "Tarnished, I wish for you to be my consort and help me bring in a new ageโ"
Maylis: "Oh, you're so funny, dear. Your mother said 'hi,' by the way."
She also gets along great with Miriel, also visiting him every once in a while to chat about things and gives him all her scrolls whenever she finds them on her journeys.
One thing I also am sticking with is that she just doesn't care that the demigods are literal demigods. They're just large children to her and she will always treat them as such.
Dropping in at the Haligtree every once in a while with a wrapped up bundle of home-made Preserving Boluses for Malenia.
Stopping by the Erdtree to drop off a little box of sandwiches for Morgott and literally cried when she found out he and Mohg were thrown into the sewers as children, much to his confusion.
None of them even know why she keeps doing this, they just know that every once in a while a strange Tarnished woman will drop by to quote-on-quote, "Take care of her tall children."
Morgott: "Foul Tarnished, prepare toโ Oh, it's you again..."
Maylis: "Hey there, dearie! I've got some little toasties and a juice box here for you."
Morgott: "How many times must I tell you that you are not my mother? Begone!"
She's just the literal personification of, "Cute? This is a serious threat to our mission!" "It's just a baby... Hi, baby! :D" Sometimes I love my imagination.
Rennala deserved so much better.
That's it. That's the post. Just the cold, hard truth.
(Might try to make a fanfic for her later, but idk. I just want her to be happy, man!)
I've been making an Elden Ring Oc in my head recently going by the name Maylis, the Flower Mother. (Pronounced: May-lees. The name meaning: The mother of lilies.)
Long, blonde braided hair style and fair skinned. Orange-gold eyes. I'm thinking she'd wear the Deathbed dress too. Not sure about her weapons and stuff yet though.
(More character details under the cut.)
And her just entire running gag is that she finds the most hideous and ugly creatures in the Lands Between positively adorable and adopts the little baby versions of them immediately.
Found a stray rot puppy from Caelid? Adopted.
Tiny, vicious Misbegotten? Adopted.
Found a nest and an egg from one of those giant scary bird things? Adopted.
Little living jar she found waddling around? Adopted.
A random baby omen she found in the sewers? Adopted.
Boc the demihuman seamster who lost his mother and is insecure about his looks? Adoption papers, signed and sealed. Now call him beautiful and comfort the poor boy.
She's adopted all of her spirit summons by now as well and treats them all like her little children, giving them little gold stars for a good job and giving them plenty of praise and care after a hard won battle.
She doesn't fight if she doesn't have to and just wants to be peaceful about things, but that can't be avoided at times. But that still doesn't stop her from trying to have conversation with her enemies while she's fighting, trying to talk them down like a mother talking to their toddler that's having a temper tantrum.
Maylis: "Come on, sweetie... Why don't you calm down and have some of these apple slices I cut for you, hm?"
The who-knows-how-old crucible knight that's literally trying to murder her: "Ma'am, excuse meโ"
She doesn't even care that all her "children" are technically all monstrosities. She just loves her little babies with all her heart and will not accept any harm coming to them.
I already love her and I will be expanding her character more in the future.
Ya'll, I just got reposted with the tags being, "I FOUND A QUEELIGN FAN THEY'RE REAL" and "I don't see the vision but I support you."
Curious, I scrolled through the entirety of the posts under the "Fire Knight Queelign" tag and, uh...
Guys? Why am I the only one who said something nice about him there? HELLO?? WHAT DID MY BOY DO??? ๐ญ
I need this man both CARNALLY and respectfully.
I need him in my arms and in my bed.
You know, I never really thought about it before, but my dynamic with the paladin of my dnd group is rather ironic.
The paladin, sworn to his God and embarking on his never-ending crusade in their name... Vowing to never let anything stray them from their devotion and path, breaking all emotional ties from everyone from his old life...
..Gets constantly bombarded and pestered by the Aasimar of the group, (Practically just a dnd angel) who also, just so happens, to be the cleric of the group. Not only meaning I'm also worshipping and am devoted to a God despite my carefree nature, but I'm also worshipping the. Exact. Same. God.
Imagine you're going to church and devoted your whole life to make sure you do not sin in the slightest to try and please God to make it to heaven and then suddenly an angel drops down from the sky, throws bird puns in your face after ruthlessly flirting with the preacher, offering to spend the night with the nuns as well, and then still receiving divine blessings as if they weren't one of the biggest sinners alive.
