We take this day to celebrate the first howl in 1994, the first time therians gathered in number to be themselves. Today, it’s important to remember all who came before us, not just AHWWs, but the therians that existed before the term was ever conceived. The animal people of legend, the shapeshifters, the werewolves. We carry on their legacy now and into the future. Remember to do something for yourself today, too! Howl at the supermoon tonight, do some quads in a nice, natural area. And remember to be wild 🐾🌲

Okay, can we stop the bashing of people for romanticizing their OWN therianthropy?

I 100% understand the disliking towards saying therianthropy itself has an aesthetic or is one, because that itself is incorrect, therianthropy is not an aesthetic, it is an integral identity. However, we should allow people to create their own personal moods and aesthetics based off of their theriotypes. I like to set up a western theme on my page cause coyotes are usually seen as the “wild dogs of the west.”

Or maybe choosing a style based off of what you personally imagine fits your theriotype, like a sheep therian choosing to wear cottagecore clothes. That’s how they personally view the “esc” of their kintype, let them be! This is mostly directed at TikTok therians, as we all know what it’s like on there. Yeesh

smth about how therianthropy and transgenderism are similar and yet also pitted against each other yet at the same time so many therians are also trans and so many trans people connect their identities to animals in some way
