the joy and the laughter
ALSO BOTH SUNSET AND TWI ARE BOTH EXTREMELY NEURODIVERGENT CODED HERE
As Sunset being born Human would NEVER fit in with the other pony's leading her to be extremely isolated, she prob got diagnosed with Pony autism or something. And entering the Human world again she still possess the Pony mentality so she's also a bit of a outsider too here.
While Twilight was also like that but despite being a fully pony never fitted in either, just a bit better than Sunset. But entering the Human world she'd be a mess. Like not even adjusted to the Human world at all. But lucky she got Sunset and all her friends to support her.
I do think Sunset would mask her differences after a while, act all charismatic and all. She's likely the best person to have found Twilight first.
In my MLP AU there is actually only one Sunset, Sunset as a young child was human and managed to accidentally phase through the portal and came to Equestria.
She was caught by the guards but was simply escorted out of the castle, where she struggled to live cuz she's a human child in a pony's body. However all humans have a hidden magic potential that they just can't use.
So after a few days of being homeless she manages to garner the attention of Princess Celestia after a magic incident (Which causes Equestria!Sunset's parents to never meet). And learning that Sunset is homeless Celestia decides to take her in as a student hoping she'd be the Element of Friendship.
Sunset forgets about her human life and lives well, Celestia makes a bunch of mistakes since this is honestly her first time being a 'Parent' to a filly and it sorta messes Sunset Shimmer a whole lot. Celestia sees that Sunset is a whole lot like her past self which freaks her out so she tries to steer her from her own path by showing her the mirror
And yadda yadda the plot happens but Sunset returns around the same age she should have been since entering the portal in alternate universe time so there it only has been a few years. Sunset has to be then Re-introduce to Human culture and is placed back within her family.
BUT IN SHORT:
Sunset is a Human turned Pony who forgot that she was Human turned back into a Human again. She's Special

Part 3 of The Town’s Change AU
•Isabela decided to go back home and not tell the family her suspensions.
•’ M-Maybe it was just a coincidence. Maybe it’ll change back to normal…’ She thinks before heading off to rest her perfect image. (not really)
•The family continues on their day as normal despite that feeling something’s off.
•At dinner, everyone was at the dining room, and Isabela can’t help but gaze over at Mirabel.
•’Either she must’ve done something or just being oblivious from the change…’ She thought before huffing.
•Time skip to the next day, Mirabel didn’t knock on anyone’s door, much to everyone’s surprise.
•Julieta and Agustin would be the first to wake up and worriedly go over to their daughter if she’s alright.
•However, Mirabel wasn’t there, making them panic.
•They wake up the others and ask Dolores if she’s in town.
•Dolores would reply that she’s helping Senora Guzman with something, putting both Julieta and Agustin in ease.
•Alma, thinking that Mirabel’s seeking for attention, rolls her eyes and gave everyone their chores while trying to figure out what to do with Antonio’s gift.
•Julieta would feel a stab in the heart after hearing her mother dismissing Mirabel like that, but there’s nothing she could do.
•Camilo, after breakfast, would wander around town, asking people if they needed to help.
•”Shockingly,” (not really) all the people he asked refused and even offered him to “take a break.”
•After an hour of doing nothing, he decides to go over to the orphanage and play with them.
•When he gets there, he sees Mirabel playing with them as well as the rest of the town’s children.
•He tries to intervene, but the kids, after spotting them, would “playfully” push Mirabel away from Camilo.
•After a few attempts, Camilo felt that maybe the kids didn’t want him and instead want Mirabel for the day.
•He leaves but feels rejection from the children.
•On the way home, he would hear whispers about Mirabel and how wonderful she is.
•However, just because he’s a shapeshifter doesn’t mean he doesn’t observe people.
•He could see people forcefully smile at him but would smile with joy whenever Mirabel was there.
•’I’m starting to wonder maybe Antonio’s right? I mean, Mirabel has been busier than lately. Maybe that’s a good thing!’ He thinks optimistically.
•However, when he turns to see Mirabel with a town folk smiling so happily, he felt that his heart ached with guilt.
•’ Then why do I feel like this?’ He thinks sadly before leaving, not wanting to see anymore.
Part 1, Part 2,
And that’s it, like and reblog for a part 4. I’m thankful that all of you like this idea. If there’s any question about my AU, feel free to ask.
See you soon~!
the human stress response seems so maladaptive!
My Skin has been cleansed and My Soul has been freed, I love ShuroFali so so so much. They're really cute together and I find their similarities yet differences so funny. I personally go MtF (Male to Female) Shuro x FtD (Female to Dragon) Falin but I love really any of it
they could never make me hate you falinshiro. People pleasing masked autistics 💔

Just imagined what if the madrigal grandchildren just like, talked? Like they don’t seem to really interact that much in depth before the movie. So what if the eldest children (Isabella, Dolores, Luisa) just had a convo when they were young teens and realize they are collectively having an awful time.
- they’d create a much closer, much more protective dynamic
- they still don’t quite stand up to their abuela but make cover stories and excuses to lessen each other’s burdens (Dolores complains that she hears Luisa’s stress and physical strain all the time and haggles gets her a day off on the weekends)
-instant over protectiveness when mirabel and Camilo are born. Dolores will always alert the other two if they get in some kind of trouble.
-after mirabels gift ceremony all the grandchildren huddle in Isabella’s room to comfort her.
-they have more emotional talks with each other as time goes by
-they collectively team up to keep anyone from getting hit on (Dolores uses this to her advantage to curve Mariano’s interest onto her while the others are preoccupied keeping Isabella sane)
-I also imagine mirabel would also get a lot of shit from sleezy guys? Since she’s seen as the most vulnerable. This just leads to plenty of men being hung upside down from vines or having bruises of shame from Luisa or mirabel herself getting him off her.
-Antonio is born and they all collectively get ready to indoctrinate him into their dynamic
- mirabel is still closest to Antonio but everyone else pays noticeably more attention to him
- if casita still starts breaking (these kids are still under a lot of stress man) the story is more quietly shared between the grandchildren and they work together to figure it out
-finding the vision and they all just kinda make the silent agreement to not say a word
- the rats do eventually steal the vision and lead them to Bruno which stresses him out greatly
- just all six of his nieces and nephews gathered in his tiny room in the walls
-I think to make the miracle stronger they might need to help pepa or Julieta, they it and their kids are already on good terms
- abuela gets mad at them because the end result is not constant sunshine like she wants
-mirabel still goes off on abuela because how dare she hurt her Tia and mama
- if casita fully collapsed after that mirabel would have no chance to disappear on her own because the grandchildren huddle up in their little oh shit circle
-idk I think the rest would be the same, just with dos oruguitas happening with all the grandkids
back to rereading fire punch. i find it interesting that of all people, neneto seems to have the most down to earth view of agni--partially bc she's put in the same situations he is, and as togata's camera man sees his every moment of weakness and mindbreak. she doesn't necessarily LIKE him and i think that also comes down to how she's been treated by men (though again that's a thing i wish fujimoto had explored a lot more) but she has a far more realistic and pitying view than others ever do, including sun and even togata, who purposefully frames agni as the Hero. i guess it fits with the fact that by the end she's the one who has to care for a newly reincarnated agni.
