His S/O try to contact him but he doesn't answer, when he finally remember it's too late and now Aizawa is trying to find the way to make it up to them. Thanks♥️

SHOTA AIZAWA

You’re feeling so excited about your birthday, and you woke up first before him. Admiring him while his eyes rest— the alarm got off and you woke him up. You were smiling all gleefully and he was just grunting, “what time— is it?” He rubbed his eyes and slowly sat back up from the bed, slipping his slippers on. “It’s..8:17 am” you bit your lip to stop smiling, you were excited for some reason, mainly because you think he has a surprise for you. He massaged his head a bit and stood up, he groaned “god— I’m almost late for my meeting.”.

You watched him get ready for work and leave the house after giving you a peck on the cheek. You were thinking that this is just some kind of prank..he’ll come back, he’ll make a surprise for me, he’ll buy me something. You hoped and hoped, saying things in your head to keep you out of the horrible reality that he forgot your birthday. You didn’t really think that your birthday was that important, I mean you understood that he has to leave. But you just want a simple pail of validation on your birthday.

You also didn’t want your birthday to be that lonely and sad, so you made up a plan B, if he forgets— that’s fine! Because in the end, you can just celebrate with him. You decided to fix and prepare the house with decorations, it felt so lonely without him, you felt empty. Forgetting about reality, you just kept your hopes up and baked a cake to cope with your sadness.

Hours passed, and it’s already 6:08 pm, you were patient for almost an hour now, he should be here by now..where is he?

“Bland whiskey, no ice..” Aizawa said to the bartender, mic was worried for him, he wasn’t sure if Aizawa knew it’s your birthday. He was scared to ask, Ring..ring— Aizawa checked his phone, and it was you calling. He sighed and just left his phone on silent mode, Mic furrowed his brows in confusion, “Hey, are you alright bud?” Mic rests his hand on Aizawa's shoulder, the man was worried for his friend. “Did something happen with you and..y/n? It’s fine if you don’t want to talk about it..” mic knows his boundaries. Aizawa looked at The blonde with a confused expression on his face, “what? What do you mean?”.

“What I mean is, weren’t you suppose to celebrate their birthday today?”

Aizawa choked on his drink and paused, mic patted his back and tried to help him. “It’s their birthday. Today.” He blinked a few times and stood up— slamming the bill on the table, then walking out the bar with his hands shoved into his pockets. Mic followed his friend and..it was his first time actually seeing Aizawa being stressed out for you. Aizawa was panicking, but he wasn’t really showing it, he didn’t know what to get you or what to do. Mic calmed him down and helped Aizawa plan a birthday event for you.

You didn’t know what to do, you just laid on the bed— staring at the ceiling, you couldn’t help but tear up. Your lips quivering as tears start to fall, you inhaled sharply and just closed your eyes to sleep and forget that this day ever happen.

After an hour passed, Aizawa finally arrived home— with flowers, snacks, and drinks. When he arrived, he saw the house was fully decorated, he felt so guilty for not doing all that for you. He called out your name and looked around the house for you until he saw you laying on the bed, sleeping. His heart just broke, he felt like a dick, he didn’t know what to do. He looked up so that his tears wouldn’t fall, “god— what’s wrong with me..” he huffed, then walked towards you and laying the things on top of the table. He sat down on the bed and rested his hand on your leg, he caressed it. His face is full of shame and guilt— he couldn’t do that much now since it’s too late. All he could do was lay down beside you, and look at you while he sobs quietly. He’s never been like this before, but you’re just so important to him. His big hand rests behind your head to pull you close to his chest and hug you. “I’m sorry..” he held you close “I just..I was stressed out and, I forgot..” his hands start to quiver insight, he whispers “and you’re so important to me, I’m sorry I didn’t know..”
