WIP Wednesday

Phew, I'm getting somewhere with this one, finally!

The landing angle of the shuttle is just a bit too steep, and the nose scrapes the tarmac. Tech corrects it at the last moment, but the shuttle still skids, its rear hits the hangar wall with a deafening bang. Hunter is jostled harder than he expected and yelps as he hits his elbow at the edge of the control panel. The shuttle stops, finally.

There is a moment of shocked silence. Wrecker is the first to jump up. It is a miracle that the ramp manual release lever does not break under his panicked push, and Wrecker storms out.

“I'm never flying with you piloting! Ever again, you, karking di’kut!” They hear from the outside of the ship.

“At least you're going to have someone, who knows—”

Tech is brutally interrupted by Crosshair, who swoops down on him, full of fury and hard-set intention to strangle his brother.

“Now you get the crash-landing protocol right,” Hunter mostly shares the sentiment as he rubs his hurt elbow. “Strap in first. Kill the pilot later.”

“Got a bad feeling.”
