The justification of art is the internal combustion it ignites in the hearts of men and not its shallow, externalized, public manifestations. The purpose of art is not the release of a momentary ejection of adrenaline but is, rather, the gradual, lifelong construction of a state of wonder and serenity.

The Types as Quotes

INTJ:  “Two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I am not yet completely sure about the universe.” -  Albert Einstein

INTP: “Real knowledge is to know the extent of one’s ignorance” - Confucius

ENTJ: “The best way to predict the future, is to create it.” - Abraham Lincoln

ENTP:  ‘”Analyzing humor is like dissecting a frog. Few people are interested and the frog dies of it” - E. B. White

INFJ: “ For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.” - Audrey Hepburn

INFP:  “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.” - Helen Keller

ISTP: “The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves, ‘You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I’m just not close enough to get the job done.” - George Carlin

ISFP: “I dream my painting and I paint my dream.” - Vincent Van Gogh

ESTP: “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” Wayne Gretzky

ESFP: “Life is either a great adventure or nothing.” - Helen Keller

I develop oddly deep emotional connections to people in my life that are one-sided. I may just be a passing character to them. I don’t know what that is. I don’t know why that is. I can have one encounter with somebody and feel very connected to them and read a lot into that. They become very important people to me, but to them I may just be like, “Oh yeah, we talked that one time, right?” To me it’s a live-changing moment that bonded us; to them, it was a five-minute polite chat in passing

Marc Maron, Attempting Normal (via perrfectly)

Me, sipping a lemonade and watching my life go to shit: hoo boy I'm gonna have to deal with that some day

Socializing as an ENTP

-Being nice, charming and finding everyone great and magical one minute -Turning into an irritable douche and being cynical about everyone thirty seconds later

Why study for exams when you can deduce the answers based on context clues from other questions and then use those answers to provide you with even more context clues for even more questions in an hour-long stress-fueled Professor Layton-esque logic puzzle extravaganza of future-hinging doom.
