Giiiiirl, how do you insert the ideas from your head on canvas? I try this and I can't, help me πππ
Ps: I love, love, looooooove your art and au! I still giggling at your "Stans lost the bet" thing LMAO
Thank you!!! πππ I guess what can help is making a list of ideas you think of in your head, reread them and picture what theyβd look like to you visually, how theyβd feel emotionally, etc., and just go ham with exploring them through drawings. The more you explore, the more new ideas may come to you to better inform your interpretation.
This is part of the process of how I come up with writing/drawing the mock character arcs for my Future AU (Iβm still trying to find a more specific name for it!!). Itβs very similar to how developing the pre-production of a show/film is like.
Itβs a lot of work and a lot of thinking, but looking at all the pieces made throughout that development process can feel rewarding :)
I would rather die of passion than of boredom.

the truth is that love requires effort. you have to invest. you have to give, but also receive. love is not a one-sided contract. you have to water each other. you have to take care of each other. love isn't easy, but the effort is worth it when it's reciprocated.

I just want to remind you that sometimes your life really doesn't begin until you are 26+... Romanticizing and obsessing over our youth is harmful. Growing up is beautiful. Discovering who you are and how you interact with the world is a gift. Maturing and learning what you truly want out of life and living in that purpose brings fulfillment and peace. Your life is not over in your early 20's because you haven't figured it out yet, it's just beginning.
Hey! By chance, does anyone know if there are any databases of world folklore and ancient cultures/civilizations? Doing some research for projects.
Bonus points if:
- the databases include photos of excavations, paintings, and pottery.
- includes ancient poetry and music
- includes some kind of timeline/adjustable filters
Bonus Bonus points if the website are devoted to ancient Africa and The Middle East/ the Arab world.
