I'm running out of things to show xD but here, have a Bowsette! I made this one on september 2022 as a tribute because by then she was already my comfort character!
We're getting on art that's a bit old by now because I haven't really been able to draw a lot lately, but I still love this one soo much! I did this when they announced the whole hbo max thingy back in the day, it's been a while :c
I have something recent I can show?? Wth??
I love drawing Bowsettes when I feel overwhelmed, she's been my comfort character for a while now, and I took this one to practice colors and lighting ^^
It's still a WIP cuz I got lazy and didn't draw the flame on her hand (I'll do that later xD) BUT it's in a stage where I feel comfy sharing it ^^
Shoutout to my friend who helped me a lot with the process, he's so cool :')
Well damn, I wasn't expecting to actually finish this piece, but that's the power of Sappho I guess!!
Anyways I hope I got to convey just how much I a-dore these two gay af girlies on my screen cause they're *everything* to me
I am (and I can't insist on this enough) *SO* gay omg
Missed a day but we keep going!! Now, uh... Coconut doggy?
Seeing that the Metroid tag is trending, I'll remind everyone of the fact that Samus should be wayyyy more muscular!!!
Back in 2021 I first played metroid zero mission and fell in loooove! It wasn't my first metroid, I played prime first and then Samus Returns and loved all of them, but I really wanted to draw Samus from Zero Mission anyways.
Also, I have this strong opinion about Samus and how she should be super stronk xD here I didn't even make her muscular enough, but she should have huuge muscles!!! So I'll surely try to draw her like this sometime xD
For @scltm happy birthday dude!!!
Garfield once said, "do not kill the part of you that is cringe, kill the part of you that cringes".
Words to live by.
So, I'm getting more inconsistent with my posting ^^' but let's ignore that, I never forgor a post!
This one comes with a bit of ✨Lore✨ tho:
On May 24th, 2022, Ecuador celebrated the 200th anniversary of the Pichincha Battle, the final conflict that sealed Ecuador's (or well, the "Gran Colombia" at the time) independence from colonial Spain.
To celebrate it, the government decided to hire a spanish muralist (Okuda) who painted a giant Pikachu in the middle of the city, sparking outrage around the whole country. I, for one... Absolutely love it xD I mean, look at him! ❤️❤️
I unironically believe this is an amazing representation of our culture! But anyways, that's not the subject here!
Because atm it seemed relevant and funny, I chose to redraw an iconic art piece representing the Pichincha Battle with Pokémon! Here's the original art that I parodied:
I have tried to find the name of the author, but I barely could find a picture with more than 4 pixels in it (this one's kinda dark too).
Anyways, if you got this far, I hope you enjoyed the infodump! The story is really interesting and making it Pokémon themed was way too fun for me not to do it xD
Had to wait until burnout but goddd I finally got to draw something for myself againnn even if just a WIP that I probably won't have the time to continue
Still!! Look at themmm they're so gayy 💖💖💖💖 I love them so much
きっと飛べるさ on my love 🦋☀️
happy ₍ₗₐₜₑ₎ 26th anniversary!!
