OCD symptom i struggle with but don't see talked about a lot: inability to trust your own memory and/or perception.

as an example: i put my headphones in my bag. i say im sure they're in my bag, but what if i imagined putting them in my bag? i have to check, so i stick my hand inside and grab them. but then i have to check *again* because what if i just so happened to have another object shaped and sized exactly like my headphones that i just forgot about? so i have to pull them out of my bag and look directly at them to fully confirm they were in my bag

this is a fairly benign example but this also happens with other worse scenarios for me and it's. not fun

the worst part about ocd and ocd-like tendencies is that you think hyper-analyzing your thoughts and constantly psychoanalyzing yourself will fix you but that's actually part of the disorder. it's the disorder. disordering.

I saw this image posted on reddit and it immediately made me think of this fic written by Hayfever_street. It is one of my favourite pieces of writing ever. It seems like smut at first (why I read it in the first place lmao) but the actual storyline is filled with so much mystery and suspense that kept me hooked throughout the singular night I read it in.

The story alternates between Ghost and Gaz POVS (at one point Soap as well) and the way those two are characterised is absolutely genius. The author is so skilled at what they do. I will pay people money to read this, and all their other works.

The Irish absolutely love these crisps. I was once in a museum in Ireland and they had an old packet of these in there. That's not even the best part. There's a whole theme park dedicated to these crisps.
