i love and support blocking anyone whos blog looks annoying. everyone should do it i think.
My biggest pet peeve is when a fandom treats a villain like a real guy who’s done real life harm. Like he’s the problematic member of an old boy band or something that must !!!! not be named !!! Sorry I can’t act like I’m scandalised by a guy who literally does not fucking exist
Quit virtue signalling and have a real discussion for once, cowards
Honestly I think this has been a sign that we no longer need to try and tolerate or ignore purity culture, but that shit needs a hard stop now. I fully blame it as being one of the causes for the intense growing black and white thinking in a lot of youth or young adult spaces that prevents meaningful change or to take actions that help even if they aren’t perfectly pure
Bro thinks she could just thug it out

i once saw someone (person a) who made a callout on a guy (person b) because he liked one piece of art that was a "promblematic ship" person a did not know person b I told person b just incase it lead to harassment, b said they weren't even a proshipper and didn't know the artist. They just liked a single post. Such a fucking crime lol
fucking insane 😭😭
antis will always say something like "profic isn't good for your mental health! this isn't a healthy coping mechanism!" and yet not a single therapist would ever recommend that people bottle up their thoughts, feelings & urges. people NEED an outlet, especially for trauma survivors. in terms of outlets, what would you rather have? seeking comfort in fiction where nobody gets hurt, or seeking comfort in acting on real life people and changing the trajectory of their lives? if you say "neither," then im afraid you're missing the point. you can't heal trauma by ignoring it, that makes it worse. also hating profic because you pretend to care about someone's mental health is such a bad excuse. people cope differently and that's OK! how does it affect you? their trauma isn't yours, and even if you experienced similar trauma, you have no right to shame others for how they choose to cope. it's not your place! you're not making the internet a safer space by dictating how people should / shouldn't cope, you're just being an ass!
I hate when I tell people I'm a proshipper and they're like "wow you must have some real horrible trauma to have to turn to proshipping as a coping mechanism" when it is in fact, not my coping mechanism at all and I just like proships
the crash wouldn't have happened if these two had just vented their feelings hard nasty style
